Pros: Helene and Emmanuel were wonderful hosts very welcoming
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful host with local informatio
Cons: Shower/bath a little awkward to get into for older persons
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The welcome, the room and the staff were excellent. The breakfast and coffee were really good and tasty. The location was fine being close to the ferry terminal. We were going to arrive later than the time stated in the conditions but phoned the owners who said that it would be fine and they waited for us before locking the gates for the evening.
Cons: Everything was good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Warm welcome. Nothing too much trouble. Lovely room. High end breakfast.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room with great bathroom. Friendly hosts. Nice neighbourhood in a stylish area. Dog friendly.
Cons: You select a room and pay for it but always get the same room if travelling with a dog. Understandable entirely but feel pricing policy shouldn’t mean you are paying for a say a superior one stay and a standard the next, when you get exactly the same room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed and dogs allowed
Cons: Breakfast was not as good as with previous owners
Quic En Groigne - Saint-Malo - Building

10.0 Excellent
Pros: the breakfast was good and more than expected. The earl grey tea was very good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and exceptional staff. Great location. Very nice breakfast. Room was extremely clean and the bed very comfortable.
Cons: Wifi was intermittent. I am told that it was due to a problem outside of the hotel; however, it was unavailable for most of our 24 hr stay.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location within the walls of St Malo. Very friendly and helpful staff - who also provided a very good restaurant recommendation. Good breakfast with home-made jam etc.
Cons: Parking is, as expected, tricky - a narrow drive from a narrow street into an underground car park. However, the staff were extremely helpful with this and it wasn't a problem - and was good to be able to park at all in the centre.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location in the old town yet in a quiet quarter. The staff were helpful and the room was well equipped.
Cons: The room was a little small
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was really nice. A very good value for money. Local breakfast.
7.9 Good
Pros: Helpful friendly staff, well located, quiet.
Cons: No lift and no shower gel.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A great place to stay and unusually for us our second visit. Friendly, clean comfortable and great location. Its a family run business and they take the time to ensure it is spotlessly clean and the breakfast is the perfect continental breakfast, great bread, pastries, home made confiture and great coffee. The location is so close to everywhere you want to be in St Malo and with the added bonus of an underground garage for which there is a small fee.
Cons: to pick on anything not to like would be churlish as it is just great as it is.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, perfect location, firm mattress, nice welcome - all the boxes were ticked for us!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was helpful and friendly.
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff were friendly
Cons: There was no one at the front desk between midnight or so and 730am. If you had to check out before 730am, you could do so. Only problem was that I needed my receipt and also on the receipt I was overcharged for breakfast charges I did not have. They fixed it promptly at 730am but if I had an earlier flight this would have been a huge problem. The bed also had a very wierd smell to it, which transferred to my clothes which I did not appreciate. The toilet was in a separate room from the sink and shower which was very wierd. If you come in after hours (after 11pm), the door is locked and they give you an access code. Only problems were (1) door locked me out at 10pm and (2) the door didn't open at this time because of a mechanical issue- luckily a hotel worker was there to help and was nice and opened the side door but I spent the rest of the trip worried I wouldn't be able to get into my room because I didn't trust the door, and there was no emergency # given, and no concierge between 12 or 11pm -730am.

Pros: Great to have breakfast in the room especially as i was travelling with my 2 young daughters. The room was nice and quiet. The hotel was very clean everywhere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was also good that they spoke English.
Cons: Signposts in the street would help to find you. You could do with much better imagery on your website the pictures you have do not do the hotel justice. Parking close can be a problem.

Pros: Fabulous location, wonderful facilities.
Cons: The restaurant didn't have room for us for dinner, we had to go elsewhere. Who doesn't take care of their own guests? The pool is freezing cold.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was superb. Wonderful outlook. Nice things you don't usually find ie nightly turn down, Continuous low light in toilet, ample storage and much else. Very helpful reception staff
Cons: Would have given 10 out of ten but for dinner on the last night, Sunday 1st September. Having booked a table for 2 at 7.15 we arrived promptly only to sit for 40 minutes before anyone cane near. Eventually I had to call for service and request a drink. There were plenty of staff but all seemed to be running round like headless chickens. There did not appear anyone was in charge. Certainly no maitre D. Food when it came was OK but being artistic seemed to be more important than good wholesome food. Although it was a Sunday, I do not accept that as an excuse.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location, immaculate hotel, lovely facilities including convenient under ground parking
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent

2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Room so small we had no place for luggage or clothes. No tissues, no Do Not Disturb sign, very minimal. We checked out after one night.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The lift, helpful English speaking owner, chance to be in the old town
Cons: We had two bright lights outside our room which were reduced, but not totally, by the curtains.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel inside the walls. It is also small one. We had a room( superior) with toilet, shower and safe , fridge, coffe maker. Good quality mattress. Enough space. Inside the walls everything is tiny, like the old and slow elevator, but we were happy it working as I am handicapped. Breakfast which served in grand floor , was really more than what we expected. Fruits, juices, croissant, different type of cheeses, good jams, yogurt, and good coffee.every thing in best quality. It is a family running hotel, but more seems to warm and friendly B&B.Patricia and Philipe , the owners friendly welcoming persons . They help their guests for all they need , hints, parking place. There is a parking near hotel that we were lucky enough to find a space each night. Much appreciated Patricia and Philipe ,recommended and we hope to come back.
Cons: Only minus was poor wifi in ( we stayed in third floor) .

Pros: Up to date, clean, bright yet welcoming and cosy. Staff well turned out and attentive, always willing to help. Bed comfortable and shower room clean and maintained with breakfast beyond expectations. Comfort, cleanliness and well fed, is that not 90% of the basses covered?
Cons: The prices at the bar seemed a little strong. Over fourteen euros for a gin and tonic with a 25cl beer. The bath / Shower sheets were more like face flannels than towels, they need to be more generous! Larger much larger.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very nice indeed. Swimming pool an excellent added bonus. Large comfortable bed.
Cons: The only reason we have marked it 9 not 10 is that are no tea/coffee facilities in the room . You have to go down to reception and return to your room carrying 2 very hot paper cups. No restaurants close by.

Pros: The ladies in reception were lovely and welcoming and also lent us electrical travel adaptors which were much appreciated. We stayed on two consecutive Sunday nights to be near the ferry port when arriving and departing France. Everywhere in the hotel is spotless, room was spacious with a lovely, large bathroom. We stayed in a family room so had an open plan layout of two bedrooms, double bed and three single beds for the children. Well sound proofed as didn’t hear a thing from other guests so slept well. Thank you for a lovely stay, we would definitely choose to book here again and were very happy to stay the second time at the end of our trip.

Pros: Friendly hotel - but took ages to check-out!!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We were upgraded to a suite which was fantastic and we thank the Oceania very much. Great view, great room. No restaurant - not an issue and the bar was closed through sickness of staff but breakfast was fine. Secure underground parking was perfect. We would stay again.
Cons: A minor point but at breakfast although tables were cleared fairly quickly where guests had made a mess on the floor this was left which meant you had to walk through it, which we decided not to do. It would have been better if this had been cleared up.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, facilities, pool and jacuzzi
Cons: Nothing to dislike

Pros: The hotel is perfectly situated to explore the old town of St Malo and/or to enjoy the long stretch of beaches.

Cons: It would be good if there was more choice on bar snacks/ meal.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: very attention people e very clened romm
Cons: the elevate had not worked
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The seaside location is remarkable, walking distance from the walled city and restaurants. My room was small but exquisitely appointed. The bathroom felt recently and luxuriously updated with large shower with rain showerhead, heated towel bars and great lighting. Amenities included an espresso machine. Get a beachfront room. The staff was friendly and helpful, the creperie was delicious, and the rooftop bar had views for miles.
Cons: I have absolutely no complaints.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The staff were quite friendly & helpful. The view from the breakfast room was lovely - facing the beach, and the breakfast was good. The overall feel of the hotel was nice but let down by a few factors detailed below.
Cons: The rooms are very small and poorly designed - whilst there is just about adequate space for your belongings, there is hardly any space to move about. There was a fan but even though the temperatures were not high, this was not efficient. Do not stay here if there is a heatwave! There is a terrace bar/ function facility on the roof but this was never open so we couldn't take advantage. The one night it opened was because of a private function - our room was right below it so because of the noise we got little sleep.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beachfront location.
Cons: A lack of cafes/restaurants in the area.

Pros: Christina and Guilio were very warm and welcoming especially at breakfast which always included some of Christina’s delightful creations. Their house is located in a lovely neighbourhood. The hosts were very helpful and attentive to our needs with suggestions of places to go and how to get there. They went out of their way to help resolve our lost luggage problems given our minimal ability to speak French.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful B&B, full of interesting books and artwork. The family who run it are delightful, friendly, charming and most helpful, and I mustn't forget Arturo, the little guardian of la Maison. The breakfast was a mix of French and Italian traditional fare, and the evening meal, a delicious 3 courses of home cooked Italian dishes was excellent value for money. The room was light and airy, and the bathroom very clean and modern. I cannot recommend this B&B highly enough and I will definitely return.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was wonderful! Cristina and Giulio were the sweetest hosts. Our room, the food, and the company was more than we could ask for. :) My boyfriend and I ended up getting engaged while staying at Maison Angelus and it felt like we were celebrating with family. Thank you for making our big day so special in your home!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our hosts, Cristina and Guilio, are warm, kind, and hospitable and share a passion to operate a truly outstanding bed and breakfast. The homemade, gourmet breakfast served in a beautiful room overlooking the garden, was delicious and a great time to get to know our hosts. They are extremely knowledgeable about the region and we followed all their advice, experiencing the culture of Brittany. Our room had everything anyone could need. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom, beautifully designed. I hope we’re able to return someday to spend more time.
Cons: Everyone was perfect! The only thing I didn’t like was having to leave.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hosts were super friendly and attentive but not TOO attentive!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Incredibly friendly hosts who provided useful information and helpful advice for the area. Christina is a fantastic cook an prepared a very tasty Italian dinner for us.
Cons: The steep stairs! But that is common in many B&Bs in France. Did not detract from the experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: B&B Maison Angélus turned out to be a wonderful find! A beautiful home filled with art and photography, located just off the beach and about a 15 minute walk to the old city. Cristina and Giulio were fabulous hosts, and the breakfasts were amazing. If you have a chance to eat dinner at B&B Maison Angélus, do! They offer a daily Italian dinner and a daily seafood dinner, both beyond delicious.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice hosts. Clean room . Delishest breakfast.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This was a delightful and quirky B&B with exceptionally friendly and helpful hosts. Christina is a marvellous Italian cook, so our breakfasts featured her homemade cakes and preserves. We also booked for an Italian dinner one evening and were delighted with the meal. (One day we’d love to return for Christina’s Italian cooking classes!!) Thanks Gulio for sharing your special frozen limoncello — it was a treat. The hospitality was wonderful and we all felt like we were staying with family friends. We even loved the dog! The B&B is situated one block from the gorgeous beach, and is an easy 15/20minute walk along the boardwalk (or beach) into St Malo historic center. Free on-street parking is usually available.
Cons: This charming B&B has steep steps to the rooms. Not a problem for us, but I do suggest asking for the room on the first floor.

Some very good restaurants nearby and the hotel staff are more than happy to make bookings.

Cons: We visited 10 years ago with parents in laws.We had a great time then with adjoining rooms at that time we had tea making which was very important as mum in law loved her cuppa. Now no tea making and over 3 euros for a tea/coffee.Also there was no english tv channels. The wifi was not encripted. The wholeplace needs repainting. We fond somewhere for breakfast for 6 euros just around the corner.

Pros: Very good location at walking distance from the sea (easy with young children), studio very clean and well equipped, all comfort, beds very comfy as well, grand hôtel des thermes is gorgeous, bar with a view on the sea where a pianist plays the piano in the afternoon/evening. Access to the swimming pool at 30° was great with our 3 year-old daughter. Staff was very kind, experience in wellness facilities (massage, aquatonic,...) was very positive. Baby club available. We will definitely be back next year!!!!
Cons: NOTHING... the balcony should perhaps be made safer for young children (who could easily climb...)

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cap Horn Resturant was excellent so too were the breakfasts staff very helpful the setting is superb, overlooking the promenade and the sea, great for walking ,especially into St.Malo.
6.7 Good
Pros: Right on the beach, 5 stars service
Cons: Very old fashioned : decoration, small rooms, bathroom. Certainly better when you do a thalasso. If not I imagine that there is better place to stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Splendid
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Facilities (the gym was the best I’ve ever been in a hotel), restaurants and located on the promenade. Great views.
Cons: Very minor aspect for us: 20 min walk to the center of Saint Malo
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked how it was very clean and the aquatonic was very luxurious. I also liked the comfyness of the beds. The buffets food was very yummy and the noise in the rooms wasn't that loud.
Cons: On the other hand, I think maybe you could swap the sea water for some clean water because the sea water is very salty. And also maybe you could put up a sign what depth it is because my mum nearly drowned.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotels location directly on the beach is magnificent. Arrival by car was incredibly easy as it was quickly whisked away by valet parking (at no extra cost) and was equally quickly available on request.
Cons: Many of the spa services ... such as access to the on-site thermal pools... was at additional cost which, given the high price of the hotel to begin with, seemed ridiculous.

Pros: This hotel is great and located very close to the beach and to good restaurants and close the city (walking distance). The recpetion is very helpful and awesomely friendly. Thanks for all the helpful hinds. Room was very clean and calm. Breakfast was very good. Parkingspace was available however we did not need to use it. I would go there again.
Cons: nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful employees at the hotel. VERY comfortable bed and very clean room. Well priced for the area and easy walk to both St Malo and Sillion and just a corner away from bus stops.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Overall very good for a one night stay in St Malo. Hotel was about a mile walk to the historic city/ramparts which was a little further than we expected. Most of the walk was along the seawall with great views at low tide. It was more challenging returning after dinner with the tide coming in and wind swept waves breaking over the seawall and across the road. It certainly made for a very memorable visit. We took advantage of the hotel's excellent breakfast buffet before departing the next morning. Having reserved on site parking was a big plus with a rental car.
Cons: Overall we were very pleased but closer to the historic city would have been better.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The simplicity and extremely comfortable bed and lovely staff
Cons: Sometimes service a bit slow
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was expensive per dog at €20 each plus if you purchased everything separately, ie the breakfast and parking was expensive also.
Cons: Cost per pet.
6.0 Good
Pros: It was clean
Cons: It was so small and no restaurant for an evening meal
9.2 Excellent
Pros: staf friendlyness, clean room, breakfast buffet
Cons: Being 2m tall and having a roof-room was a challenge to avoid bumping my head against the slopend “Wall”

Pros: The breakfast was one of the best we had while in France...a bit expensive, though, but well worth it. Our room location, right on the beach was awesome.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: It is very well located and a fantastic view on the sea. The staff is very helpful ❤️ We had a duplex .

Pros: Great location in walking distance to St. Malo. View straight out to the sea and the raging storms. Incredible tide variation here. Room small but had everything. Hotel going through a refurb. When bar done will be great. Lots of restaurants on your doorstep which was also very good.
Cons: Bar could do with a revamp.

Pros: Fab bed fab bathroom fab location fab beachfront bar but front desk one bad apple
7.0 Good
Pros: I did not have breakfast, nice area clean rooms and the staff were very pleasent , and helpful I would say that I would stay again at this hotel.
Cons: I would say that the hallways were very dark and really needs new carpets. I was woken up each morning very early by the chamber maids because of all the banging and cleaning the rooms from up stairs and along my corridor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was wonderful and most informative.
Cons: Nothing
