Good 7.3

Cons: n/a
Good 6.0

Pros: Staff very helpful and welcoming. Nice room for short stay and one person. Good location for Didsbury's restaurants and pubs.
Cons: Room too small for two people or longer stay.
Good 6.0
Pros: nice decor, good lounge areas
Cons: had to pay a very over priced charge for wifi access, same again with the breakfast, it was good but over priced.
Good 6.3
Pros: Good location for visiting family and surrounding countryside. Car park. Appearance of building. Garden/terrasse.
Cons: Bit of a pretentious feel to it e.g decor, bath in bedroom, staff attitude.
Good 7.6
Pros: Excellent facilities, beautiful surroundings, wonderful food, extremely helpful and polite staff.
Cons: $review.cons
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Loved the hotel. I have always wanted to stay here but could never afford it but managed to get a discount price last minute and it was well worth the splurge.
Cons: We didnt have breakfast as it seemed very expensive as an extra cost to the room - although looked amazing
Good 7.0
Pros: The hotel was well presented the staff was friendly and helpful location is superb with lots of bars and restaraunts close enough to enjoy but not too close to spoil the tranquility this hotel offers. Charming
Cons: Booked a double room and only 1 double towel in bathroom, Room was over heated. although i would rather be too hot then too cold.
Okay 4.6
Pros: I thought that the receptionist at breakfast time was highly professional and had the sort of presence lacking in the waiters.
Cons: The room under the rafters was odd. Huge bathroom, small bedroom. A poor conversion. The staff at breakfast were not professional, too chatty, too busy and the food was slow to come.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Radisson Blu is well attuned to international travelers from the architecture to the amenities it provides. The ease of accessing the airport made it the perfect pre-flight hotel.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: Super close to the airport, clean, comforatable. Perfect if you're traveling, otherwise there are better options location wise in Manchester!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location was perfect for an early flight out of Manchester. The staff was very friendly, which to me is the important part of any hotel stay.
Cons: The place was clean, but there was a long brown hair on the wall of the shower and a really funky smell in one of the pillows, like mold and sweat. Not pleasant, luckily there were three other pillows available.
Excellent 9.1
Pros: Convenient to airport. Staff was great.
Cons: Prices were inconsistent to online pricing
Good 6.2
Pros: Location in airport terminal was very convenient.
Cons: Room and bathroom were semi-clean. Room was hot... air conditioning did not work week. Bedding was nice but pillows so hard and lumpy my ears actually hurt.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent location. Directly connected to the train station and terminals via closed overhead walkway.
Cons: Expensive restraurant, but it is at the airport and it is in England.
Good 6.8
Pros: Location
Cons: Bed hard and pillows old and lumpy
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Arrived by train straight into hotel, stayed overnight and then straight into airport for flight. So easy, comfortable and convenient.
Cons: Nothing
Okay 4.8
Cons: Terrible restaurant and not clean bathroom
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great for the various Manchester Airport terminals. I stayed in the business class rooms which provides access to the upper floor lounge which was calm and nice views over to the airport terminal. Quiet rooms - so well rested before flight.
Cons: Never can get my stay put on Lufthansa Miles and More loyalty program. What is wrong with these hotels and their airline partners?
Okay 5.7
Cons: no hot water in shower
Good 6.0
Pros: Hotel is just a few minutes away by foot from terminal 1 and the railway startion via a covered walkway
Cons: Irritating that the batteries on the TV remote control were flat and the TV itself was perched on top of the wardrobe, no programme guide available.
Good 6.3
Pros: Convenience to the airport terminals and the efficiency and friendliness of the staff.
Cons: Car parking was awkward and the prices in the restaurant and bar were very high. We arrived late and there was nothing reasonably priced to eat.
Good 6.3
Pros: This was the perfect place to stay the night before my flight. Comfortable, clean hotel with perfect airport location.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Clean quiet beautiful room. Friendly efficient staff .. Best night of sleep in my entire journey

Excellent 9.7
Pros: I booked the Clayton for my last night in the U.K. I wanted a comfortable room near the airport with free transport to and from the terminals and that’s what I got. The bed was the only letdown; I had two singles, and neither was very comfy...a bit hard and lumpy actually.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Convenient to the airport with a good restaurant
Cons: The only thing I could complain about is no one advised us that the heating/cooling system was turned off in our room upon arrival.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Very clean and efficient. Good service with the shuttles to the airport.
Cons: The bar could have had more ambience. Seemed a little sterile
Excellent 9.7
Pros: I liked the room, the bed, and the large bar/lounge/dining room.
Cons: The price goes up every time I book. The mini-bus transportation, even though it requires booking, seems a bit of a free for all when waiting to board the bus, leading me to believe that the number of bookings do not match the number of seats!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Free Wifi
Cons: No ice machine
Okay 5.1
Pros: the drivers to the airport nice lads made an effort to connect. ( humans )
Cons: The reception didn’t tell us that breakfast was £2 less if we booked with them. £13 for a piss poor breakfast is a a lot of money, black pudding hard as steel and rest was testless so annoyed £27 for two wasted on the first day of my holiday. If it was £27 and really good I would have been upset but £27 and rubbish made me so annoyed. The coffee in Wetherspoons £1 is much better than this. The breakfast at Yates £3 with table service not buffet is better than this. Don’t evan ask about the price of drinks in the bar.
Okay 4.2
Pros: Close to the airport
Cons: I thought I was booked into the Crown Plaza next door. I arrived a was greeted with a smile. Since it was 10am they had no problem allowing me an early check in...then I realized my company booked me in Bewleys :( Different experience altogether..check in lady was Eastern Europe...not very friendly and recited the welcome greeting with teeth clenched. Then I asked if I could check in early having flown 25 hours. Yes for 20 pounds...OK no problem. I had already paid in advance for the hotel and because my credit card would not work in the machine I had to go and find a cash machine for 20 pounds which meant driving into the nearest town. Then was advised there was a charge for parking and breakfast! Honestly, if you are traveling long distance and prepaid your room I would like to think that for 20 pounds they could have let me had a shower first before my meeting that afternoon!! I will be staying at the Crown Plaza next time for sure. Ho, and the gym was terrible...one bike one tred mill and thats it!
Good 7.1
Pros: The Clayton Hotel is very good at providing accommodations for lots of people. Lines are long but move quickly. Food is what you'd expect. The bar has lots of seating. Basically, it is a very convenient and well-run hotel.
Cons: The Clayton does cut a few corners. There are no tissues in the room (my nose was running from a cold). The soap bar is amazingly small but more than is needed for a shower or two. Would I stay at another hotel at the airport, no. I recommend the Clayton.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Front desk were awesome
Okay 4.5
Pros: It was close to the airport and they have a 24 hr shuttle
Cons: However, the shuttle was late, like 40 minutes, and we had to call twice to make sure they were coming. The room was old. Like 1975 orange couch old
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very convenient for airport and car rental. Will accept early arrivals. Excellent full breakfast.
Cons: Some rooms are not up to par - smell and have been patched up. There is no air conditioning so it can be bad on a hot day. They will supply a fan, if you ask.
Good 6.8
Cons: I disliked paying for the parking
Good 6.3
Pros: Slow checkin. Cost of car park seemed excessive charge.
Cons: Comfort.
Okay 5.7
Pros: A great place to stay if you're flying in late in the evening or flying out early in the morning. Only a few hundred metres away from the terminals and the railway station.
Cons: The service was a bit impersonal. Then again, I guess you shouldn't expect much if you're only staying for one short night.
Good 6.7
Pros: Had a very nice meal
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: location
Cons: unsatisfactory bed factory eating set up
Good 6.4
Pros: Quietness even though close to airport. Spacious, comfortable room and good food available.

Good 6.2
Pros: The staff are lovely & really do try to help, however, communication between them is definitely lacking. The rooms are really clean & beds are comfy - which I can get for £45 per night.
Cons: The checkin procedure was really difficult as I am from Spain & my card wouldn't go through - it kept saying it was the wrong pin but it had worked previously & when I checked my pin in front of the receptionist, it confirmed I was using the right one. Their system just wouldn't take my card - even though if he used it like a phone booking, the card was accepted. I had to checkin twice as the system was a 2 day stay, then I had added 1 night so I had to process them seperately (knew this would cause problems later) so I kept insisting that they knew that I wasn't moving out of the room & they needed to ensure this. The room had no safe - even though they tried to insist that there was one in there & I just hadn't seen it! Maintenance crew came to check, then realised to their amusement that there wasn't one, so I asked him to install one & he was lovely. Hairdryer blew the fuses 3 times whilst I was trying to get ready - turns out it was wired into the lighting instead of the sockets & was practically melting off the wall! Awful smell & a trek to get to your room &/or the leisure facilities, which I had repeatedly tried to book through their online system to no avail. Toilet didn't flush properly. I had a relaxing 1 hr full massage prior to all of this( which was amazing btw) - needless to say, that totally negated any effect as I was really stressed an hour later, due to trying to get ready for an important meeting & the hairdryer cutting out the electrics, so was not worth it. I did complain, receptionist was lovely & he offered me a complimentary massage, which I accepted. Was told the Spa would ring me but they didn't, so ended up going down on my last day to find out why, to be told they knew nothing about it. They gave me a 30 minute facial - not what I had in mind. On my last day I was not in the system for a breakfast - in fact, I wasn't in the system under the same room, they had checked me out of my room, so the TV no longer worked but I just couldn't be bothered to go back down to reception. All in all, not a good stay. You need to sort out many niggly problems
Okay 4.5
Pros: Bed was comfortable
Okay 5.3
Pros: The bed was very comfortable
Cons: Hotel quite old fashioned
Good 7.7
Pros: The quality of the bedlinen, and the bed and pillows - ensured a super nights sleep !
Cons: Bar area lacked athmosphere and seemed quite cold
Good 6.0
Pros: Really enjoyed leisure facilities. Good airport and rail links.
Cons: Food prices high with little option ofeating elsewhere unless prepared to travel into Manchester.
Good 7.7
Pros: The gym and swiming pool.
Cons: The staff were great. The kichen staff were excellent. They keep smiling during their service and the cook was fantastic as well taking care of my extra orders even if it was off their menu.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Meal in the restaurant was very nice and the reception staff and concierge/porters were excellent.
Cons: Nothing
Okay 5.2
Pros: Restaurant welcoming, cheff good at breakfast.
Cons: Mini bar in room not operational, bolt on room door wasn't working, found stickers inside bed on sheets. No lift down to room.
Good 6.8
Pros: Nice size room, with double bed as requested, and decent bathroom size Excellent breakfast
Cons: Very cold initially (no pre-heating), both in room and bathroom No hot towel rail in bathroom - so always a cold bathroom that steamed up when showering
Good 7.6
Pros: the value for money is brilliant and prices are extremely affordable making the stay so much more comfortable and enjoyable.
Cons: $review.cons
Okay 4.4
Pros: Nice Hotel for able bodied people.
Cons: I booked a disabled room which I confirmed over the phone before my arrival only to find at check in that the disabled room had been given away to a large booking and I was left with a totally unsuitable room. This ruined my stay. Reception said they had double booked my room. Able bodied people got the disabled room.
Good 7.6
Pros: I thought the Manchester Airport Marriott Hotel was outstanding. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room looked great and the bed was very comfortable.
Cons: I thought the 5 pound charge for airport transfer was a bit steep. The airport is only about 5 minutes away! Also, I didn't like the fact that there were swimming lessons going on in the pool. It was subsequently a very noisy place. I don't think this is fair if hotel guests are paying so much to stay.

Excellent 9.7
Pros: Staff super friendly. Conveniently close to airport with shuttle service. Great food and drinks. Hotel room comfortable and clean
Cons: Bed was a little too soft but only bc I suffer from back issues.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: We liked that the hotel was very efficient with it's drivers for the airport shuttle. My mother and I hired a car, and the Holiday Inn Express airport shuttle picked us up from the car rental village within ten minutes of phoning the hotel to request pick up. Beds are soft and comfortable.
Cons: The kitchen serves decent enough food. Not really gourmet, but adequate enough for a warm meal to have in the hotel restaurant (don't have to travel a long way to find food) before going to bed for an early flight.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The breakfast was really good and quite quiet. The room was very big. The bathroom was very modern but no bath.
Cons: For the price you pay for the room and increased bar/restaurant charges, you shouldn’t have to pay £10 for 1 nights parking. I parked for a week at manchester Airport for less than £30!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Close to the airport, very clean, friendly staff. Nice to have the option to eat dinner there so no need to have a car. Free internet and breakfast.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Convenient to airport.
Cons: Afternoon coffee and tea stupid expensive
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Room was clean and well-presented and bathroom came with nice toiletries and fluffy towels. Front desk staff were very helpful when we found we had left our toothbrushes behind they had toothbrushes to us within 5 minutes! Airport/train transport was quick and efficient.
Cons: Given its proximity to the airport it would be helpful to have in-room USB charging. We had left our plug converters with family and were unable to charge our phones/devices till we returned to the US.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Free shuttle to airport, close to train station, helpful staff
Cons: Need more outlets
Good 7.7
Pros: Good business hotel, warm and friendly staff, 5 mins from terminal
Cons: expensive wifi just because I didn't book direct - it's a standard feature thesedays to at least offer a free basic connection - Hilton: please accept that most customers will use price comparison sites out of convenience rather than booking direct.
Okay 5.3
Pros: Good shuttle to airport.
Cons: Service in the bar was poor. Wifi in room had weak/intermittent signal and was unusable.
Okay 4.5
Pros: Location was good
Cons: Old building, dusty room, no bottled water, kind of dumpy especially for a Hilton.
Good 6.0
Cons: Disappointed by the quality of the bed lower than the usual Hilton standard and the staff could have warned me about renovation work happening on my floor and offered to relocated me - overall a poor night sleep and an unwelcome wake up call.
Good 7.6
Pros: I liked the plentiful hot water and good toiletries. I enjoyed the quietness of the room. The airport "shuttle bus" service was EXCELLENT. It was prompt and courteous. HOWEVER - it would have been useful if I had been informed about the shuttle service when I made my reservation. There is NO information at the railway station and the hotel "hotline" phones are in disrepair which meant that I had to wander around quite late at night looking for information that would direct me to the HILTON .
Cons: The bathroom sink did NOT empty out - there was 'standing water' for a considerable length of time before it finally drained away. The bed mattress was not particularly comfortable and the skimpy bottom sheet kept pulling out of place - it needs to be a fitted sheet. The TV instructions were a little confusing - I never did figure out the "Morning wake-up call" system.
Okay 5.7
Pros: The proximity of the hotel to the airport, the free shuttle service, the price offered via the web site
Cons: The cracked basin in the bathroom, and the hole in the carpet in the room.
Good 7.0
Pros: Excellent
Cons: Even though you can see the hotel from the Airport terminal, it is difficult to walk to as there are some roads in the way which are difficult to cross. In the evening you must ring the hotel for the shuttle to fetch you. Difficult if you do not have a mobile.
Good 6.0
Pros: Easy access from motorway network. Easy parking and very helpful staff. I've stayed twice and would definitely stay again.
Cons: The food at dinner was inconsistent . For example one starter was wrong and the fruit salad was low quality and terribly presented. On the other hand main courses were good - inconsistent for a brand of Hilton's reputation.
Good 6.3
Pros: Good hotel, quiet and restaurant on site. Staff were efficient and pleasant. Would stay again.
Cons: No complaints
Good 7.0
Pros: Close proximity to the Manchester airport. 24 hour shuttle service to airport.
Cons: The hotel had no record of our reservation, but the situation was handled well and rectified.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: very convenient for manchester airport, very comfortable, helpful and friendly staff and good breakfast
Cons: $review.cons

Pros: $review.pros
Cons: the rooms were of not as high standard as expected. they could do with modernising. we also felt that the restuarant was overpriced for the quality of food served.

Cons: Requested a wheelchair accessible room online, when I checked in was told that hotel did not have any, was given a room that was very nice but the bathroom/bedside lights did not work & there was no hot water. Also, I requested a bath, there was only a shower that I was unable to use from my wheelchair. On a previous visit I used the courtesy shuttle bus with a wheelchair ramp to/from the airport. When I did the same this time was told that shuttle bus was no longer available & hadn't been replaced. This hotel is not wheelchair friendly

Pros: I was welcomed warmly and assisted with my luggage. My room was charmingly furnished and decorated. I had a tasty meal at the restaurant and a nice hot shower with good water pressure. It was just the sort of place I like and the price was good. The location near the airport was perfect for my needs. A word of caution, the room was smallish, no AC but a fan made the room comfortable. I had a standard double bed which was perfectly fine. If you are looking for a large, luxurious room, a bed the size of a football field and all of the amenities that seem to be considered standard, this place is not for you. If you like old world charm at a reasonable price, Etrop Grange fits the bill. I'd stay here again.
Good 6.5
Pros: location to the airport and the front desk staff were excellant
Cons: strange layout of halllways, awkward and small shower, very uncomfortable bed, very small room, poor pillows

Good 7.3
Pros: Room was very nice
Cons: Room service breakfast didn't arrive.
Good 7.7
Pros: We particularly like the exceptionally pleasant helpful staff, We regularly use the hotel prior to flying from the airport, but it is far superior to most airport hotels and gives you the feeling of a comfortable country house hotel., totally divorced from the cattle holding pens in the airport!!!!
Good 6.3
Pros: The convenience and friendly staff.
Cons: nothing
Okay 5.2
Pros: The best was that the hotel was close to the airport but was not a typical "airport hotel" but an nice and comfortable mansion-type hotel.
Cons: Restaurant could be better: stiff prices and a very small menue to choose from. Very slow service as well.
Okay 5.6

Pros: Convenient location with free parking. Outdated amendments but friendly staff. Great for just to shower and sleep
Mediocre 2.0
Cons: They've assigned me the wrong room number, resulting in another guest coming over my room in the middle of the night, then the guy from the reception desk waking me up again to double check my booking, then he again asking some extra cash to be delivered due to some mistake in their system. Really cheesy hotel with miserable looks and room condition. It's not near the Airport at all. Expensive. Avoid it if possible.
Okay 4.2
Pros: The bathroom was clean.
Cons: The breakfast was not good and the room was stained. The area by the lifts was tatty.
Good 6.0
Pros: I enjoyed the room, great value for money with everything you need. The restaurant is very reasonable also.
Cons: The distance from the city center is the only downside but only a minor one as taxi's are readily available
Okay 5.0
Pros: taxi service very good.
Cons: very cold in hotel bar.
Okay 5.3
Pros: i liked the reception area and my bathroom was nice
Cons: the room was to small and looked cheap compared to the pictures i seen on the internet and the window wouldnt open
Good 6.7
Pros: Access to Manchester city by bus. Adequate, well prepared room and comfortable environment.
Cons: Noise from function room a bit concerning.
Mediocre 2.8
Pros: The best thing about our stay was probably the secure carpark and the lovely reception area. Shame about the rest really!
Cons: I am disabled and asked the chap on the desk to bring my bags up. I also asked for a 2nd key which i had already asked abut when i had previously phoned. After 45 mins my luggage hadnt been brought up so I went down in the lift myself and tried to struggle with my luggage until the chap saw me and hurried to my assistance, apologizing profusely. I asked about the 2nd key again and he said he would bring it up within the next 10 mins. An hour later I still didn't have the key so as I was on my way out I asked again and he gave me an extra one. The bathroom was tiny, very hard for a young disabled lady to manage and the furniture was old and scruffy looking as was the rest of the hotel decor, not fitting in with the modern looking reception.
Okay 5.2
Pros: Food was good in the restaurant
Cons: Hotel staff, while not rude were not accommodating to travelers. Even though we were just an over-night stay, there were so many instances of unhelpful staff that to list them one would say we were making them up. Additionally, the water pressure was the lowest of any hotel we stayed in while in europe, we could not easily find out how to call the desk, the coffee in the room was old, the elevator was rough and jerky, linen carts were left full of dirty bedding in the main floor hall just out side the elevator all day...
Okay 4.4
Pros: $review.pros

Pros: Although I stay in the hotel for 3night. I enjoyed the human relations of the staffers
Cons: The hotel is under renovation and the did not meet my expection

Pros: Staff were courteous, pleasant and helpful - I was cold because the heating isn't turned on till late so the receptionist brought me a fan heater. Coffeee and tea making facilities were provided. There was a spare pillow provided. The rest of the room was clean, but bathroom not great I'm araid.
Cons: Tv didn't seem to work;Only one towel; bath not clean and stained with green shower gel which came off when I washed it;bed not very warm and no spare blanket.Wash basin not very well cleaned. I know smoking is a bad habit and I don't mind going outside, but there was nowhere to stand away from gale force wind & public gaze first thing in the morning; I had to hand in my key and wait in the cold for the door to be released to let me back in - found this a bit humiliating!
Okay 4.0
Pros: I cannot think of anything positive during my stay.
Cons: Got a double room when we asked for a twin room. Didn't bother telling hotel staff as the reception was across the street. Room was tiny and outdated.
