Excellent 8.0
Pros: The room was cosy the furniture and style of the room especially the clean bath in the bedroom. The bed was very comfortable. It wasn’t loud.
Cons: Everything was lovely BUT if I HAD to say one negative thing it was the floorboards very creaky.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean & trendy
Cons: Creaky floorboards
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Very well appointed and clearly lots of attention to detail. Very comfortable and cosy.
Cons: Unfortunately I thought breakfast was included. It was pricey without breakfast.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location and comfortable
Excellent 10.0
Pros: On arrival the receptionist was welcoming and helpful. She even helped us with our requests on the room location. All the staff were amazing, both at the gym and when we went for breakfast. The location could not be better for checkin at terminal 2, as its only a 2 min walk down the sky walk. I would highly recommend this hotel and we will be using it again next time we fly from Manchester.
Cons: Nothing, it was all perfect.

Excellent 9.6
Pros: Excellent location, clean room, we had a family room which was fantastic. Excellent value for money. 1/4 the price of the Raddison Blue.
Cons: Absolutely nothing
Okay 5.1
Pros: the drivers to the airport nice lads made an effort to connect. ( humans )
Cons: The reception didn’t tell us that breakfast was £2 less if we booked with them. £13 for a piss poor breakfast is a a lot of money, black pudding hard as steel and rest was testless so annoyed £27 for two wasted on the first day of my holiday. If it was £27 and really good I would have been upset but £27 and rubbish made me so annoyed. The coffee in Wetherspoons £1 is much better than this. The breakfast at Yates £3 with table service not buffet is better than this. Don’t evan ask about the price of drinks in the bar.
Excellent 8.1
Pros: Staff brillant
Cons: Building work which we were not informed about
Good 6.0
Pros: Its location to airport
Cons: Was double charged for the room then 3 days later a random charge of £126.90 appeared on my credit card and had to ring from Italy to get it removed !! Disgraceful if I hadnt noticed it would still be there. This isnt the first time CHECK YOUR CARD
Excellent 8.0
Pros: We have used the hotel as a stepping off point immediately prior to flying out for our holiday from Manchester Airport. Arriving the day before flight departure ensures a pleasant evening meal and then on flight day we have enjoyed a good breakfast and an excellent hotel shuttle service to the terminal for departure. Friendly and helpful staff. Well done to all.
Cons: We thought that service in the main bar area was perhaps slightly understaffed that evening for the number of customers using that facility. Not a major problem to us, but there were some travel weary irritated faces around.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Front desk were awesome
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Room size, cleanliness and location
Cons: Rude airport transfer staff , booked transfer for 6.45 . 2 of our party arrived at 6.47 and he was angry at us and didn't drop us at the airport entrance because he was ' finishing in 10 minutes' ...... terrible customer service !
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location is perfect for the Manchester airport. We also chose it because of the dining options available, and we were not disappointed-excellent! The check in staff person was having some trouble with the computer, but it all worked out.
Cons: We had an odd experience of a maid service person entering our room without knocking or announcing herself at about 4:00 in the afternoon. It was a bit disconcerting.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Nice clean hotel
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great restaurant, with excellent food and service. Free shuttle to terminals.
Cons: Nothing to dislike
Excellent 8.3
Pros: It’s location to Terminal 1
Excellent 9.0
Pros: It was very clean and the beds were so comfortable.
Cons: Not enough towels for four people. Have us only two even though it was a family room

Pros: Comfortable and very clean. Easily accessible from the airport. Friendly, helpful staff. A good breakfast with a good selection. Great shower. Watching TV in bed. Quiet. Handy shuttle bus from the hotel. It took the stress out of travelling. Good to relax before my flight.
Cons: The lift wasn’t working. The heating was through air vents rather than radiators. The air had a strange, damp smell, so I turned it off. There was a electric free standing radiator in the room, which was adequate.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: The beds are remarkably comfortable, the free tea/coffee are good, and so are the biscuits. The breakfast is excellent and not greasy. Being able to use the gym and swimming pool is a real bonus at this hotel. There was no fuss about our daughter and her little one, joining us to have a swim, even though they were not staying at the hotel. Our room was incredibly quiet all night. The swimming pool is very large and warm enough.
Cons: There was a black bug on the bathroom floor. When you get into the shower, there is nowhere to put your soap or shampoo, except on the floor and it is really hard to change the temperature of the water, so I had a burning hot shower. The reception deals with hotel check-in, fitness guests, business guests, and guest just needing a towel to go for a swim, so you can be unlucky and wait quite a long time to be served.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Staff are a big bonus - unfailingly helpful. Great facilities and we like the out of town location next to the river and in green fields. Lunch menu was good and breakfast too.
Cons: The rooms are small but we knew this before we went. Not luxury but really acceptable. Little storage but our twin room this tune was set out more logically so no issues with sockets or such like.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The spa was outstanding, the staff were extremely helpful. The hotel itself was amazing!
Cons: I do feel something's were over priced. For instance the drinks machine in the changing rooms wasn't working so get water we had to go to the reception where it was more expensive
Good 7.5
Pros: Location was great . Staff were friendly and place was clean .
Cons: The double room was tiny, not small . It really was only fit for a single person . Food was lovely , staff were very nice and place was very clean . But the room was just way too small to be comfortable.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely swimming pool.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: All of the staff were so helpful - they couldn't do enough for you - James the reception Manager was particularly good. Breakfast was served quickly and was hot - much better than the normal breakfast buffet.
Cons: Nothing

Excellent 8.0
Pros: I frequently choose Marriott and I like it that I get the expected level of service and facilities.
Cons: There is a shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. I booked via booking and it didn't mention there that the service is unavailable after 10PM. I therefore had to take a taxi. A 2 minutes drive for 15$.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Clean, accessible and easy hotel
Okay 5.0
Pros: Beds so comfortable
Cons: We arrived early hours , very tired after a long flight , and where left to find our room in a maze of a hotel, ended back at reception after a 15 minute walk about , no good at all when your so tired
Good 6.2
Pros: The staff are lovely & really do try to help, however, communication between them is definitely lacking. The rooms are really clean & beds are comfy - which I can get for £45 per night.
Cons: The checkin procedure was really difficult as I am from Spain & my card wouldn't go through - it kept saying it was the wrong pin but it had worked previously & when I checked my pin in front of the receptionist, it confirmed I was using the right one. Their system just wouldn't take my card - even though if he used it like a phone booking, the card was accepted. I had to checkin twice as the system was a 2 day stay, then I had added 1 night so I had to process them seperately (knew this would cause problems later) so I kept insisting that they knew that I wasn't moving out of the room & they needed to ensure this. The room had no safe - even though they tried to insist that there was one in there & I just hadn't seen it! Maintenance crew came to check, then realised to their amusement that there wasn't one, so I asked him to install one & he was lovely. Hairdryer blew the fuses 3 times whilst I was trying to get ready - turns out it was wired into the lighting instead of the sockets & was practically melting off the wall! Awful smell & a trek to get to your room &/or the leisure facilities, which I had repeatedly tried to book through their online system to no avail. Toilet didn't flush properly. I had a relaxing 1 hr full massage prior to all of this( which was amazing btw) - needless to say, that totally negated any effect as I was really stressed an hour later, due to trying to get ready for an important meeting & the hairdryer cutting out the electrics, so was not worth it. I did complain, receptionist was lovely & he offered me a complimentary massage, which I accepted. Was told the Spa would ring me but they didn't, so ended up going down on my last day to find out why, to be told they knew nothing about it. They gave me a 30 minute facial - not what I had in mind. On my last day I was not in the system for a breakfast - in fact, I wasn't in the system under the same room, they had checked me out of my room, so the TV no longer worked but I just couldn't be bothered to go back down to reception. All in all, not a good stay. You need to sort out many niggly problems
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Loved the executive lounge...super cute robes, slippers and nice toiletries. Loved the big comfy bed.
Cons: Reception mislead saying we could charge dinner to room, but getting from restaurant another version, made me run back to room to get my purse. It could been avoided.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Facility and near the airport
Excellent 9.6
Pros: It was clean, modern and had great facilities. The free airport shuttle was extremely handy as we had a very early flight.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Shuttle bus is really good with early departure. Staff were very helpful. Exec lounge was decent
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Staff and location
Okay 4.5
Pros: Bed was comfortable
Good 7.9
Pros: Location - and San Carlo Restaurant was absolutely superb
Cons: Card didn’t work, had to walk back to reception. Then wouldn’t let me in the Exec lounge, had to walk back to reception. Supposed to be hot snacks until 21:30, all cleared away 19:45! Then breakfast next morning in the Exec lounge was rubbish, had to pay £32 so my wife and I could get breakfast. Won’t be returning, it’s not good enough
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Reception and restaurant staff alike were attentive and gave helpful advice. Rooms spotless and modern. Good size too! Great food! Very close to the airport with easy transport.

Pros: Great Location
Okay 4.0
Pros: the shuffle is very usefull.
Cons: issue related to the wifi tv channel missing or dysfunctional
Okay 5.4
Pros: The hotel was about a 15 minute walk to Terminal 2. Very convenient.
Cons: No hairdryer so in the morning I couldn’t even dry my hair and did not have time to question reception about this. The hotel room was cold and could not change the temperature so felt a bit rough in the morning which I could have done without. Very limited facilities in the room and very small too! Looks better in the pictures. Don’t quote thing one night there was worth over £100.
Excellent 9.0
Cons: Had food in the bar my beef burger was cold too much mayo on the bun not worth the money
Good 6.0
Pros: Location at Manchester Airport is superb as is the free shuttle. The Drivers are always friendly and helful. Rooms are okay and functional for just one night
Cons: Typical Airport hotel where most stay for just a single night. Room was okay but a little over filled with unecesary items ie extra chairs.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Location, facilities, very friendly staff and value for money. The collection from the car rental village was a massive bonus!!
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Free airport shuttle and complimentary water in the room
Cons: The instructions for the airport shuttle were unclear. The room itself was shabby and tired. The sheets on one of the beds was stained with visible hairs. There was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom and in the caulking. Overall, not a 4 star experience.

Excellent 8.3
Pros: Friendly staff, lovely Christmas decorations, taxi service to airport and back. Very nice driver on early evening.
Cons: My room needs decorating. Looks shabby. Handle missing from toilet flush. Water release in basin not working.
Good 7.1
Pros: Good diner but slightly expensive
Cons: Dark room and quite small
Good 7.5
Pros: Pleasant hotel close to airport. Looks to be recently redecorated. New shower room. Staff brought fresh milk on request but no pods for coffee machine
Cons: The air con made a noise like dripping water even when switched off.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: I was welcomed warmly and assisted with my luggage. My room was charmingly furnished and decorated. I had a tasty meal at the restaurant and a nice hot shower with good water pressure. It was just the sort of place I like and the price was good. The location near the airport was perfect for my needs. A word of caution, the room was smallish, no AC but a fan made the room comfortable. I had a standard double bed which was perfectly fine. If you are looking for a large, luxurious room, a bed the size of a football field and all of the amenities that seem to be considered standard, this place is not for you. If you like old world charm at a reasonable price, Etrop Grange fits the bill. I'd stay here again.
Good 6.5
Pros: location to the airport and the front desk staff were excellant
Cons: strange layout of halllways, awkward and small shower, very uncomfortable bed, very small room, poor pillows
Excellent 10.0

Okay 4.5

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The cleanliness and comfort. The helpfulness of the staff
Cons: I liked everything. The icing on the cake would have been biscuits in the room but that's picky
Okay 4.2
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Massively over priced especially the bar and bland food!! My advice is stay at the Clayton hotel around the corner.
Good 7.0
Pros: The staff were friendly. The location was excellent. Very clean bathroom.
Cons: Upon arrival empty liquor bottles outside door in hallway.Hallway carpet dirty at edges like the vaccuum couldn't reach. Bed extremely creaky at least little movement. Bedside table dusty. Dust-carpet edges in room. suitcases left in open area in lobby.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Great breakfast with lots a choice. Staff really welcoming especially breakfast staff and drivers.
Cons: Rooms a little on the small size.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The staff were brilliant. Very friendly and eager to please.
Good 6.0
Pros: Hotel restaurant staff were amazing! Very friendly and accommodating!
Cons: Hotel is old and could use lots of updates...
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Extremely close to airport was exactly as required for my pre flight trip
Okay 4.5
Pros: Location was good
Cons: Old building, dusty room, no bottled water, kind of dumpy especially for a Hilton.
Good 6.0
Cons: Disappointed by the quality of the bed lower than the usual Hilton standard and the staff could have warned me about renovation work happening on my floor and offered to relocated me - overall a poor night sleep and an unwelcome wake up call.
Good 7.0
Pros: It's close to the airport, there's a shuttle that runs every 20 minutes. That's handy. The rooms are big, the staff are friendly and accomodating
Cons: Why do places still not put plugs by the beds...why do I have to go across the room to plug in my phone...or drape wires across the room if I need to plug in medical equipment! Also the room adjoining door wasn't locked (Even after I asked for someone to go to lock it (at least it had a latch on))
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Bar food
Cons: Room was way to hot
Good 7.1
Pros: Near the terminals. Picked you up and dropped us off station.Pleasant friendly driver. Bedroom ok big tv. Breakfast ok good value
Cons: Bathroom was cold no heating. needed a refresh.Shower very hot and difficult to regulate. BedRoom also cold and said 25 degrees but had to sleep in extra clothes !

Excellent 8.8
Pros: There were no problems
Cons: Nothing to complain about
Good 7.5
Pros: Convenient and easy to find. Staff helpful.
Cons: Evening meal expensive and poor quality.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Loads of hot, fast running water in the bath.
Cons: When booking I was given the choice of smoking or none smoking room, which was a surprise as I didn’t know smoking rooms existed anymore! I chose a smoking room, save going out in the cold for a morning ciggy. However when checking in I was told the smoking rooms weren’t ready yet and “well put you in a non smoking one for now” I didn’t hear from the hotel again. So it was a cold smoke for me in the morning...
Good 7.7
Pros: Convenient location with free parking. Outdated amendments but friendly staff. Great for just to shower and sleep
Good 7.1
Pros: It was good for the price
Cons: The restaurant menu could have been better
Good 6.3
Cons: Needs quite a bit of TLC. Looking very tired in the corridors. Food is ok but over priced for microwaved meals
Mediocre 2.0
Cons: They've assigned me the wrong room number, resulting in another guest coming over my room in the middle of the night, then the guy from the reception desk waking me up again to double check my booking, then he again asking some extra cash to be delivered due to some mistake in their system. Really cheesy hotel with miserable looks and room condition. It's not near the Airport at all. Expensive. Avoid it if possible.
Okay 4.2
Pros: The bathroom was clean.
Cons: The breakfast was not good and the room was stained. The area by the lifts was tatty.

Mediocre 3.0
Pros: It was clean and bed comfortable
Cons: Excepionally run down and dated
Excellent 8.0
Pros: It is a well presented Hotel, some fixtures and fittings are a little dated and would benefit from a little investment but on the whole a good place to stay.
Cons: Nothing really.
Okay 4.6
Pros: Breakfast staff very pleasant and plenty to eat.
Cons: Dirty carpets in the halls and stairs, just looks dated and needs updating. Despite a big sign saying"this is a no smoking area" at the front doors, loads of residents smoking.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff were really friendly rooms were clean and comfortable. Drinks reasonably priced cooked breakfast was lovely good choice
Cons: Nothing
Okay 5.8
Pros: Residence bar staff friendly
Cons: Checking staff abrupt. Didn't tell us lift wasn't working up to our room also. Bedroom was fine but bathroom sorry but disgusting. Smelled of damp plus mould on ceiling above shower. Gutted as previous stay was much better and staff more friendly.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Clean. Basic but everything required for overnight stay
Okay 5.0
Pros: Staff weren’t very friendly, hotel rooms not as clean as expected. Very dusty everywhere but had a nice bathroom.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Large comfortable room, comfortable bed, excellent bathroom. Pleased with the hotel itself good for Manchester airport.
Cons: Hotel transfer by taxi to the airport was 35 minutes late and caused a lot of anxiety for a number of us. Need to get an arrangement with a reliable taxi firm.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great value. Very clean. Great staff. Free parking. Easy travel by tram into town.
Cons: Nothing.
Okay 5.4
Cons: It's very dated. Clean but uncomfortable

Mediocre 3.3
Pros: The man on reception was friendly and called a taxi for me.
Cons: The room wasnt very clean. The bed and mattress were broken. The sound of running water was constant. Window didn't close properly and a party in the bar on until early hours of the morning. Also there was a room open full of junk and alot of people hanging around. Also my door wasnt very secure and looks like it had been broken into previously. Mattress filthy and pillows disgusting.
Okay 4.6
Pros: It was warm and in a decent location. Parking available but not much.
Cons: Dirty, dirty windows dirty beds dirty bath. Bed linen had seen much better days. You could feel every spring in the mattress. Only one towel and 2 small bars of soap. The toilet was sloping. The tv was small and had no remote.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Location is very good. Next to the hostel i bus stop that can take you directly to Piccadilly Station. The price was good.
Cons: The room wasn't renovated for a long time. Because of thin walls and very old door, you could hear noise from other rooms. Moreover, there was some access control machine in corridor that was beeping all night. We had to check out by placing keys in mail box because there was no staff present.
Good 6.7
Pros: Location and value for money
Cons: No body in the Reception after 10 pm , bathroom very bad , smell in the room .
Poor 1.0
Pros: No breakfast, no food.
Cons: Filthy water in the bath and sink night and following morning.leave a review of my stay last Friday. 1) I usually stay here for my numerous trips to Manchester for concerts and I always ensure I'm back at the hotel for 10.30-10.45p.m. to eat in your restaurant. This instance I arrived only to find there was a very noisy private party going and there was no food. I was not informed of this when I arrived otherwise I could have eaten out. As it was I ended up without an evening meal because of this. 2) Worse still when I retired to bed I ran a bath. You'll see why I didn't bathe. Saturday morning I tried again. The same. (see attached). So, I ended up having spent an awful night with no food and no bath. A J Fort
Okay 5.4
Pros: The room was very cheap. Beds clean and comfortable. Room warm.
Cons: Room floor not clean, all a bit grotty. Fuse tripped often.
Mediocre 3.8
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: The door to the room could be opened without the key, the bath was filthy, the mattress in the bed was the most uncomfortable mattress ever, think it was about 20 years old. Very outdated in general.
