Arrived at the pickup location waited 20 minutes in line and then the agent was completely disinterested in providing any kind of customer service. After about 10 minutes she finally told me that they didn’t have any cars available. Approximately 5 minutes later she said she had a car available but not the class I had booked. I booked a SUV and she only had a Camry for the same rate. I accepted the vehicle. Then I went out to the car and the vehicle was disgustingly dirty. Exterior was barely washed but the interior was even worse. Stains all over the seats and horrible smell. The worst part was the registration had expired in 02/2026, this was 07/2026. Completely unsafe and unacceptable. Will never rent with Budget SDF again.

I wanted a van and really needed a van. I got lucky that avis had a 7 passenger car because my only other option was a 5 seater or passenger van. Had that happened i would have been furious. I should not be worried about getting the vehicle i need when I book it in advance.

Van was not ready when needed - phone call said"flat tire" and ready "soon" - that was at 9am. It was not ready at 11 am and I needed for passengers. Went to another company and finally at 3pm - Hertz call said ready. MUCH MUCH toolate and then have the audacity to charge me $150 for cancelling rental - NEVER AGAIN WITH KAYAK OR HERTZ.

It took forever to pick up my reserved car and there was attempted wheeling and dealing at the counter. It should not take multiple phone calls and over 15 minutes to pick up a reservation—or to ask me to choose a completely different size vehicle because that’s all that’s left.

I reserved a car, paid for a ride to the airport to pick up the car, there was no car available, the staff was rude and indifferent, they suggested that I sit in the airport for up to eight hours, waiting for a car to become available, they also couldn’t guarantee that a car would become available, I paid for a ride back to my home from the airport. I spent 60 bucks to get back-and-forth from the airport and I did not get a car. I can’t imagine how this could be worse. And I can’t imagine that Avis cares
