Pros:Nothing Car was dirty took me 45 min to clean it during COVID esp unacceptable previous contract was in glove compartment that says alot drop off was closed for 3 mos had to go to airport as a last resortCons:Everything car should be clean. Pros:Staff was polite.Cons:Staff was slow, distracted and ended up giving us the contract paperwork for a different car than the one we were given, this caused us problems we had to exchange the car on 4th of July because of a flat tire. Pros:It was convenient that Hertz picked us up from our home for the rental pick-up.Cons:The drop-off time was quite long (20+ minutes), which seemed excessive. We also didn't get dropped off the same way we were picked up before our rental.Reviewed 25 May 2019

Misinformation and additional fees!Cons:KAYAK does not take in account the additional fees applied by Hertz when under the age of 25 in the United States. I had specified my age correctly on the website and was under the impression that everything had been paid. Once I had arrived at Hertz the day of pick up another $500 plus fee was required. Ended up cancelling the rental and will be asking for a refund.Reviewed 7 Jan 2019

Pros:Car was an upgrade. Service was friendly. Return was easy.Cons:Herz computer sysrem was playing up. Herz would not sell me public liability insurance separately from CDW and premium assistance, contrary to what Herz website had suggested. I had wasted $$$ buying CDW insurance separately earlier in the transaction. Herz now only offers $1 million public liability cover. (I think it used to be $8 million). This is still better than most other rental compabies.Reviewed 25 Aug 2018

Cons:The Hertz rental spot closed at 1pm therefore I had no chance at renting since I was running a bit late. I then called customer service to find the nearest hertz rental and they continued to recommend stores that were also closed around the area. After 15 min of back and forth, i decided to cancel the reservation and demanded a refund. I repeated my email address multiple times to the representative, and she assured me that I will be receiving it shortly. I was in a rush, therefore I assumed the email would be coming shortly. It has been 2 days now and I have yet to receive anything via email.Reviewed 30 Oct 2017
