I booked a car at the airport. When my reservation email came in the car was on the northwest part of town in a strip mall. I had no way to get to it. I called Herrz and spoke to a rude lady in the Phillipines. I finally cancelled the rental and called a competitor who gave me a rental at the Gillespie Rd facility.Reviewed 20 Jan 2023

I didn’t like the fact that no one walked the car with me once I turned it in. I asked to be walked and they said it wasn’t needed. I took a picture of the car so I can prove it was returned in the same condition.Reviewed 19 Jan 2023

I booked the car through Kayak for $225. When I arrived i was informed that they didn’t have any more vehicles at that price and the only car available would be $540 to rent. She topped it off by saying the system over books all the time.. doesn’t seem right.Reviewed 28 Dec 2022

I called Hertz to see if I could change the drop off location to Sky Harbor Airport Phoenix. The rep I talked to said yes with no change in the charges. Upon returning the car to the airport location I was hit with an additional $545 and the terms of the rental were completely changed. They said there was no record of my call to change. Hertz is so far unwilling to do anything and says that I am on the hook for the charges. I have escalated this in Hertz and will protest the charges via my credit card.
