Pickup Was not at the AirportCons:Despite the fact that I searched for rentals from the Birmingham airport what I actually got was something miles away from the airport. Since I didn't notice the discrepancy in address this reservation was completely useless to me. What's more as I was standing at the Hertz counter the next person to come up had the same issue. This is clearly a scam and I hope you go down in legal flames.Reviewed 14 Mar 2018

Pros:The staff was so friendly. I already had my reservation but wanted an upgrade. The car wasn’t ready but they worked as quickly as they could to get me a new contract while they got the car ready. In a short 15 minutes I had a beautiful Cadillac CTS and I was on my way. Cons:Hertz customer service was horrible, but that's a whole separate rant Somehow my car got booked NOT at the airport despite the fact I started by searching with the airport code. I had no idea. Somehow my pickup was scheduled an hour before the pick up office was to close. I had no idea Our flight got in late. The combination meant that I would not be able to get a car without a second booking, outside of Kayak. I called Kayak customer support to fix this. Kayak was "closed for the holidays" RIDICULOUS to close customer support for holiday trips booked on your platform. You suckReviewed 1 Jan 2017

Pros:the car was perfect, clean, brand new Camry but it has a check engine light on!??Cons:the service was deplorable, the service attendant had a name tag on hanging by one side. she called to get a car several times and we waited and waited for 15 mnutes before the car got brought up.. very lacking.Reviewed 6 Apr 2019

Pros:Oh the staff was great, the car was fine (despite the fact that the USB port was non-op)Cons:I could not add my Hertz Gold number to the reservation. Hertz said I needed to cancel the reservation, and re-book directly with Hertz if I wanted to add my Gold number. Of course I would have to lose the rate that I got through you. Terrible ExperienceCons:My fault that I accidentally booked a reservation that picked in downtown Birmingham and returned to the Birmingham International Airport. I meant to pick up at B-ham airport and return to the same location, but apparently I selected the incorrect address. However, when I showed up to the airport, the Hertz representative was beyond rude and basically told me to F - off, that there was nothing she could do. The walk up rate she quoted me was $180 / day for a car. I immediately went to the Enterprise booth next door to Hertz and got a car for $34/day. By the way, I'm a Hertz Gold member and have used them frequently. Never again - terrible, terrible experience.Reviewed 19 Feb 2017
