Pros: Great attention to detail, lots of treats to choose from and the port and cookies was a nice touch.
Cons: Some paint/water damage above the shower, massive shower tray but the monsoon head makes it a little pointless, and Grrr, shower controls mounted on the far side of the shower head means for a cold shock if not careful (controls not easy to read). The room was cool on arrival and the aircon didn't seem to blow any heat despite correct setting, but staff sorted it out whilst we were out for the evening to the point it was tropical on our return.

The location is right downtown, just a short walk to the Cathedral, restaurants and shopping.
Cons: The hotel is on a charming narrow street, which can be a little challenging for a tourist driver to drive up to. By driving 100 yards through an intersection, however, you can solve this by going into one of two parking garages. I know that’s not much of a criticism, but I felt the need to put something in the criticism box.

Cons: Diabolical, the hotel is OK once you get passed the photoshop bedrooms but, the staff had disgusting attitudes. Wouldn't stay here again, wouldn't recommend to my worse enemy.

Pros: I wanted a simple single room near the railway station as I was travelling alone, and just staying one night. The room was well decorated and appointed and I was pleased that although there wasn't an ensuite bathroom (this was clearly flagged on the booking site, and I wasn't expecting one) there was a washbasin in the room. The bed was comfortable, the room not too hot or cold, and the breakfast very tasty. I shall be returning another time.

Pros: The hotel was spotless, the staff were so polite and kind. Where the hotel is situation is perfect. It’s close enough to Get unto the town by taxi coat £8 and everything you need is around you. Aldis is a walk across the road along with Chiquitos, KFC, Frankie and Benny’s, and a lovely pub called the seven starts a 10 min walk away. I can’t wait to return back to Exeter and and stay in the at Andrews hotel again.

My room was in the newer annex at the back of the hotel so all decoration was reasonably new and equipped with all you'd need for a weekend stay. Very nice breakfast room & lounge with plenty of tourist information. Staff were very friendly, helpful and provided good service where required

Cons: They said they did vegan breakfasts but it was quite plain. Don't expect much more than hash browns and beans. Everything else was good.

Cons: We had no television signal for the entire stay which was extremely annoying at times when we wanted to relax in the room in between tourist trips. The hotel lied on the first day saying the engineer was 'on it' and no sign of it working still at check out. Substandard for a hotel of this supposed calibre.

Cons: It was tired and dated, in need of modernisation. Charging £6 per night for parking and this being hidden in small print on their website really got to me. When I expressed this to reception they failed to mention I could park, for free, in the residential road opposite their entrance, as the parking restrictions don’t apply on the local roads at weekends or overnight! The room we had was boiling hot when we arrived, the radiator thermostat was broken so I had to fix this before being able to turn it off, we had the window wide open all night and it was still uncomfortably warm the next morning! The bathroom window and net curtain were filthy and the paintwork was chipped, especially on the woodwork.

It was only when I had a shower did it become fully apparent that the shower was flooding into the entrance. Cons: Booked a double room but on arrival received a twin room with no other options available. The staff acknowledged their mistake and promised they would inform the manager, however I did not hear anything more from them. The shower was a dribble and no hot water from the the taps.
