8.3 Excellent
Pros: I like the buffet there. We stayed there last year for a few days, room was stunning view. The most memorable moment of last year was falling over congee in the resto. during breakfast. Staff is very friendly.
Cons: This time when we stayed there, the renovation is pretty loud. We stay in the room most of the time, so the renovation noise was a negative experience, as well as workers outside balcony. So we have to shut the curtain most of the time. Thing is, we booked that captain’s suite for the view and also we can go out to balcony.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was actually very good, on the northwestern edge of Jinji lake. I especially enjoyed the access to the bridgewalk over the water right in front of the hotel side facing the lake. Staff were very attentive and polite when asked about anything. The housekeeper, Ms Zhao, was also attentive to small details, like putting out more drinking water bottles when she discovered I finished the two complimentary bottles everyday.
Cons: Some signage could have been better. It took me a while to discover where the japanese teppanyaki restaurant was, or to discover how to reach the swimming pools. Also some better instructions on how to operate the room lights and curtains etc, since the system seem only accessible through the remote controls from a small console by the bedside.
7.5 Good
Pros: Really nice and spacious room, we received free fruit basket once arrival. The club lounge was nice and service was great. The location is simply fantastic where we could walk around the lake and across the road to the mall.
Cons: The hotel was under renovation at the moment therefore it’s very noisy during the afternoon, the noise level is unbearable and can’t stay in the room
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staffs are super friendly and helpful
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast. My favorite location in Suzhou (central but peaceful).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The quality and facilities in the room were first class, a wonderful experience.
Cons: The staff in the restaurant at lunch were incredibly slow. There was also a lot of construction going on, which I understand has to be done, but it still wasn't ideal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable room , nice view , convenient location , excellent service, friendly staffs , in a word , very happy to choose this hotel ,would like to recommend to my friends .
9.6 Excellent
Pros: So beautiful , the theme is a giant Cruze ship. Lots of dark wood , open spaces, and a great bar area in the center of the ship. Breakfast is top notch.
Cons: Not much. Bar is a little pricey.
Worldhotel Grand Dushulake Suzhou - Suzhou - Building
9.7 Excellent (5,370 reviews)
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: soft bed, very far away from everything, the food/breakfast is the worst among 5 star hotels nearby.
Scholars Hotel Pingjiangfu Suzhou - Suzhou
9.7 Excellent (4,454 reviews)
Aster Suzhou - Suzhou - Bedroom
9.6 Excellent (3,913 reviews)
Tonino Lamborghini Hotel Suzhou - Suzhou - Outdoor view
9.6 Excellent (3,127 reviews)
Overview Reviews
By crossing the door you are entering a space of timeless beauty and luxury. Located on the banks of the picturesque Jinji Lake, the Tonino Lamborghini Boutique Hotel Suzhou has been endowed with a special spiritual power. Hidden to outsiders and open to those who find the way in, the hotel has the power to take every guest to far and away places, freeing them of troubles and difficulties.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff Large clean comfortable rooms Large comfortable bed Well located, walking distance to Suzhou centre mall A little oasis Tasty breakfast offering
7.9 Good
Pros: impressive lobby, nice library. outstanding location. spacious room.
Cons: breakfast ok but not great for international standards. restaurant closing too early (9 pm) on saturday evening.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel location on the lake (and proximity to Suzhou Center) was outstanding as was the design of the hotel. I also found the staff helpful and courteous. The gardens were a serene and peaceful backdrop to the layout and motif of the hotel. Laundry service was fast.
Cons: The food at breakfast was rather ordinary. Also, many of the competing 5 star luxury hotels in China have bidet/smart toilets which this hotel lacked. The lighting switches were a little quirky. The quality of the TV signal was subpar for a luxury hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely one of the best (maybe THE best) hotel I have ever stopped in, style and décor first rate, staff were wonderful, rooms well equipped and ultra comfortable, location on the lake shore was perfect, and breakfast selection and quality was fantastic.. would rate higher than 5 star!
Cons: having to leave ;)
6.3 Good
Pros: The room suites were spacious, the shower was joyous, and but for the criticisms below, this was ultimately a picturesque 3 or, at its most generous, 4 star hotel. The staff were well meaning enough, but this really is a confused muddle of a hotel that does not hit the spot.
Cons: Frankly, though this hotel has the illusion of luxury, it falls far short of a five star experience. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were shown to a room which reeked of stale cigarettes, and external building works (renovation of the hotel) were audible within. Following an immediate complaint, we were relocated to a clean room with no construction noise. In terms of the rooms, we noticed the following: 1. The Bose sound system has a connection for iPhone5 and under - meaning it has not been updated for 5 years. 2. Bathroom Towels are not placed near the shower. 3. Only one pair of slippers was provided in the room. 4. We have stayed at 3* hotels where drinks and refreshments were provided gratis, and replenished daily. This is an inexpensive item for hotels - when will they learn that fleecing customers leaves a bitter taste? 5. Breakfast was not apparently included in the room rate. This is patently absurd if you have pretentious of luxury. 6. On our second day, having left the room for the day at 9.30am, upon returning at 4.30pm the room had still not yet been cleaned. Come on! This is hotels 101. In terms of facilities...: 1. The Swimming pool and gym are simply not of a quality associated with a local counsel facility, let alone a luxury hotel. Note that one can use the Crowne Plaza facilities, however. Additionally, the pool was not open in the evening. 2. The spa treatments were extortionate, and there is no way one can justifiably describe this as a “spa hotel”. Utter nonsense. 3. Bicycles were available for 80 RMB an hour. This is astonishingly shameful practice. How can they not be provided gratis? I have never had that at a hotel, particularly one based around a beautiful lake. 4. Drilling outside and scaffolding effectively ruined any experience to be had in common areas and the beautifully manicured gardens. What a waste. 5.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, great design, new facilities.
Cons: On my arrival I could hardly find the entrance, no Usher waiting for us outside. Some breakfast items tasted a little old, like the corn they provided. In the spa they mixed the menu from the Lamborghini hotel and the Crown Plaza. They showed us the crown Plaza one and rejected the 300 RMB coupons, because they were only valid for the Lamborghini one. Staff was very friendly though, no complain about it. Overall a good stay, but not as great as expected.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Thank you for upgrade room to my kids . :)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: clean and comfortable
Cons: English speakers are a few
7.0 Good
Pros: The hotel is new and located in a yet to be utilized shopping centre. Really quiet and not difficult to reach. The staff is friendly, the hotel and room clean, the breakfast a Chinese average. Nothing stands really out though.
Cons: The bathroom design is terrible, as you can not just see the shower area from the room but the toilet too. While partly see-through bathrooms are rather common in China, God know for what reason, this particular hotel really goes out of it's way to achieve the coveted "open concept in toilet design" price and doesn't even close them off from the room properly. Room also did not really feature a functioning desk. Apart from that there was not much to dislike. A solid "good", thus rated 7.
9.0 Excellent

Cons: Noise from nearly construction building
8.0 Excellent

Pros: Good value for money. Good location, near the shopping and food street. Big and comfortable room
Cons: Only complain would be the pillow - So soft, hardly any neck support.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It had a strong WiFi and the location was adjacent to walking street with all the shopping. It is also close to the Metro station.
7.0 Good
Pros: location was extremely convenient, probably 150m away from the centralised metro station "chayuanchang". Right at shopping street "quanqianjie" hence easy to find food around. I particularly like the food of a restaurant chain ‘老娘舅“。 just at the end of the street opp Soul. Staff were a ++ for the Hotel! overall, the front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful, most of them have a smile while serving the customers. Breakfast spread considers acceptable for a China hotel. Overall it was a "value for money" stay.
Cons: 1. bed was way too soft for my liking. 2. the design and color tone of the room were quite out-dated. I have thought lighter color tone, such as beige or white as the base colors for the furniture/cabinetry inside the room will give it a refreshing feel especially in winter. The current design and color tone makes the rooms look very dark,
10.0 Excellent

6.7 Good
Pros: Their shuttle service and the staff is very helpful
Cons: stale air in the room. The window didn’t open fully. The windows were tinted. Sometime the access cards don’t work. Overall the place would need a full renovation to life up to an 8-point-something place.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location and the breakfast was very good
Cons: The hotel is newly remodeled, but you can still tell it’s pretty old.
