Ok I guessPros:We got there to pick the car up and the price was double what was quoted on my itinerary. The car they gave us had bad brakes so after about 4 days we had to take it back and get a different car. Pros:The attendant was helpful and patient! We had a million questions and she answered them all!! She also recommended two great local restaurants that were delicious! I truly appreciated the complementary airport shuttle after we dropped the rental off. I will definitely be renting from here again!!Reviewed 2 Mar 2017

It was Horrible!!Pros:By far THEEEE WORST customer service rep in the entire world is that lady with the natural hair with blonde color Serena at Thrifty Car Rental in St. Thomas VI. She's extremely rude, snobbish and disrespectful. My rental that I got from them broke down late last night repetitively. I was lucky enough to get it down to Thrifty last night where I parked it at the side of the road. I didn't turn in the keys or anything because my plan was to get there early this morning to explain to them why I needed a new vehicle and I wasn't due to turn in the vehicle until Monday. When I got there the car was moved and all my personal belongings (except the liquor that I had in the trunk of course) was in the dumpster. She told me that they closed the contract and that they need to verify that something is indeed wrong with the car and then she'll "assess" weather or not they'll give me a replacement vehicle. "LIKE WHAT!?!? Then she went on to tell me how no other person that had that vehicle prior to me had any issues and then insinuated that it was my fault that thier car would cut out whenever I put it in drive. Long story short the mechanics took it for a test ride and indeed the vehicle cut out on them twice and they made her aware of it. She then acted like nothing that I mentioned above happened until I said it's really unprofessional the way you spoke to me and insinuated that I was the reason that the car broke down when your mechanics just informed you that I wasn't. Her response was "The past is the past" huh???????? I said Ms. You were extremely rude to me ..She then buts in and said "I wasn't Rude I was direct" I then showed her how she basically accused me of damaging the car and she said that she didn't when everyone in the building clearly told her that she did. I then asked for her superior...she gave a business card to the cordless phone that she had in her hand!! Then when I called her out on that and after about 2 hours of my day being wasted she then tells me company policy is that she doesn't have to rent me a vehicle and that I should go to Another rental company. At this point I'm in flames and trying extremely hard not to get disrespectful. I found out from the other employees who her bosses were and made a complaint and Got another car from budget effortlessly. But I KNOW that I'm not the only person that experienced this woman's rudeness. She was extremely rude and she represents what's wrong with customer service in this territory! Share this stat, tag her boss, you could even tag her in it to bring awareness to the horrible customer service at Thrifty Car Rental in St. Thomas VI! Cons:I would never rent from Dollar in St Thomas again. I was unaware that the rental was offset. We waited 1/2 hr for the shuttle van and finally called. They were waiting for our call. We didn't even know the rental was offset until we go to the airport.Reviewed 9 Jan 2017
