Cons: You need to improve the effectiveness and speed in which you check in people as well as the drop off. Too slow
Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful. Shuttle to get from airport to Budget and back to airport after trip was smooth and easy. Needed an 8 seater and they had one perfect for our needs.
Cons: I was easily able to reach the main Budget operators, but despite calling several times, I was unable to reach anyone at the PBI Airport Budget rental office. Our reservation was for a Premium SUV that seats 7/8. I tried to call to let them know we had 8 in our party and wanted to make sure they had a vehicle that would seat all 8, but was never able to confirm. Price was great, so we kept the reservation and fortunately, they had a car that was perfect, but would have been nice to not have to worry that they may not. Otherwise, good experience.
Cons: Your palm beach airport location was disappointing and depressing. It was run down, not clean, everyone was surly or unresponsive. The car was there but it took over an hour and talking to nasty people to get it.
Cons: better prices in kayak.com
Cons: The customer service (especially special reservations department) is super super rude. Unbelievable what I had to go through on the day of my wife's birthday, and anniversary. We had to deal with them all day to extend and they even took advantage of it and charged us double what had been paying for 4 months !!! I'm going to report them to BBB, ive never been so infuriated with a company before . They need to hire more emphatic call center employees
Cons: It was very expensive.
Pros: Drove 5 miles and the car died. Hassle getting picked up. The worst rental experience ever. I will not pay
Cons: The cars ability to run
Pros: Drop off was easy.
Cons: Generally everything about this was awful, except for the drop off, which was the same as anywhere else... quick. Easirent is the worst ever in all other regards. First of all, we waited 2 hours for our car rental when we showed up. This is not an exaggeration. 2 full hours were wasted sitting in a small area with six other families waiting to rent. When we finally got our rental, they wouldn’t let me drive because my license would be expiring within a month (not during the rental window). They charged me an extra $40 so my boyfriend could drive but refused to switch the reservation into his name, so they could get their extra fee. We got to the car and it clearly has poor tires with no tread left. We brought this to the rental agent’s attention and he argued with us that the rental was “very good.” We took pictures. Not very good. So we get sick of arguing and take the car, as soon as we pull out the tire pressure warning light came on. Boyfriend pulls over to a Wawa which is a few blocks away from Easirent. Air was rushing out of the back passenger side tire. Bent rim was pushing into the tire. We would 100% have had a blowout if we took it on the highway. We called and brought back the car, wasted another half hour, and the guy at Easirent argued with us that “all Nissans have tire pressure lights on all the time and that the tire was fine.” He then took it for a test ride and we could hear air loudly gushing from the tire as he drove away. We finally got a new car, no discount or anything, just half a day of our 3 day vacation in the toilet at this point. We got a a different car and it was dirty and smelled like smoke. Windows were wind down and it shook if you drove the car over 60mph. I’d say drop off was good, but we had to take our own Uber to the airport because there was no room for us or our luggage in the van jammed with 8 other people. This was by far the worst rental experience we’ve ever had.
Pros: Staff very helpful and accommodating.
Pros: Every time I use budget I say this will be the last time, however it is the closest walk from my house. But considering they aren’t cheaper anymore but still lack staff and service availability I’m just done. Always takes forever to check in and out even if only 1 other person there. I get if you have lower and slower staff if your prices are lower, but they are not! Also I’ve had issues with picking up vehicles every time (dead battery, buried behind other vehicles...) If I buy online and go to pick up, stop trying to force people to add on extra stuff, if I wanted it I would have added it online! I want to get in and out not be badgered for five minutes about adding or upgrading. The last time I was there I just walked out bc 15 people in line. Considering I’ve waited 15 minutes per person in the past I just left and went to enterprise and had a vehicle in 5 minutes for cheaper price.
Cons: Add staff or lower prices back down.
Pros: Very good!
Cons: Cleaning under and in between seats could’ve been better, but overall, great deal and good people.
