My friend had the car reservation. Car broke down and 2 women stranded on the highway. Budget wouldn't help us. Finally police officer helped us after we were left on side of major hwy 1.5 hrs.Reviewed 13 May 2026

Horrible pick up. Not enough staff to help over 40 people in line to pick up cars. Computer with dot matrix printer takes at least 15 minutes to process each customer. Antiquated and too small of a rental car office and lot for such a right volume of customers. Unable to get car out of lot do to other cars being parked blocking rental pickup.Reviewed 4 May 2026

Very unorganized at the pick up, under staffed for a Sunday morning (busy with cruise ship customers), just gave me keys didn’t go over the car at all, car was not washed, outside was dirty and inside was clean. Drop off was very confusing, the Orlando airport drop off is not clearly marked it takes you to the Hyatt in front, directed me where to park and just yelled t everyone to leave keys in car, didn’t go over anything t drop off.Reviewed 21 Feb 2025

Drop off was fine. The pick up experience was the worst that I have had with any company. We had a car reserved months in advance. Our car was reserved (and should have been ready) for 8 am. We waited in a short line, for over an hour. When we got to the desk, around 10 am, we were informed that they didn’t have any cars in. We would have to wait for a car and then wait for it to be cleaned. We had to wait an additional hour. This is unacceptable. We had a car reserved and they didn’t have one available until over 3 hours later than we reserved it for. The savings that Budget had. Over other companies was not worth my time. I would never recommend Budget, in this location, to anyone.Reviewed 1 Dec 2024

Pick up was a nightmare. Took over 90 minutes to line up and get a car. Took the Budget shuttle from the cruise port. It identified only as Budget and the driver didn't advise that there are 2 locations. Of course I was at the wrong location. Paid an additional fee so I could get a car after the longest wait. The guy behind the counter wanted me to buy the toll pass for $13 per day. Said there was no option of paying if I didn't have exact change and it would cost me $10 to $15 to get to Orlando from Port Canaveral, it cost me no more than $10 and each toll had a person that was there to give change. The toll from Disney to the airport $2.75. It would have cost an additional $70 had we bought the "toll plan" as recommended. If I spent $15, it would surprise me. Drop off was a breeze.
