Complimentary daily water bottle is almost non-existent in Colombia and this hotel provides it. Breakfast options at this hotel is one of the largest in Bogota, almost at par with JW Marriot or the same as Hilton Bogota. Making it one of the best value hotels in Bogota. Be sure to book/ask room with a view at upper levels, certainly worth it. Location is excellent, 5 mins walking to Santa Ana Mall where a Jumbo supermarket, the best in Bogota, is located. 7 mins walking to the Usaquen tourist train station that’ll get you to Zipaquira Salt Cathedral. 10 mins walking to Hacienda Santa Barbara mall and the sunday market: Mercado de Pulgas Usaquen.

Cons: The entrance is a bit lazy. No one at the front door to instantly greet you and help with the luggages. One must enter the door first and let the bellboys/security know that you need help.

Cons: I was charged a taxi fee for a a service twice: once at the hotel upon check out and another when we paid the taxi driver upon arrival to airport. Guests, please please please double check payment methods for taxi ride to the airport before getting on to the taxi.

Cons: The hot tapwater in the hotel contained an organic solvent, terpentine. We stayed for the weekend from Friday till Monday and informed the hotel management three times of the problem and also submitted a form in which we explained the problem. Terpentine is an irritant for the skin and harmful when swallowed. We believe that the hotel has put the health of their gasts at risk, nevertheless, we have not had any formal response nor explanation from the hotel management, which is most regretful.

Pros: Everything about this hotel was first class. I never stayed in one before because of the price, but Easter Weekend rooms were $100 U.S. per night. The service was world class. If you told them you have an ant farm and need worms they would be at your door in 5 minutes. I had a minor issue with the food from room service so they comped it and added a free Sunday brunch. It wasn't even questioned. Great class of people and as a solo gay traveler I met so many gay men it would be worth twice the price. I will be staying at W hotels whenever possible!

Cons: If your gay please note that there are better hotels in better areas of bogota which I will list below. I live in nyc and own a business in Colombia and visit 15+ times a year. I am marrying a Colombian man in July. On this trip I arrived to bogota got the holiday and to also have a hair transplant. I arrived to the hotel a few hours before my boyfriend and when he arrived I went down and kissed him and then led him up to my room. 15 minutes later I get a call saying something to the effect that security has determined I have someone unauthorized in my room just can’t be there until we visit the front desk. (You can imagine the amount of alarms I must have set off with security for them to spend 15 minutes to track down which room I went to). I visit the front desk and am told by a snotty desk man that visitors cost $50 a night unless I come back down and sign them out (as if I’m bringing some prostitute of the street) First I should point out that if I had walked in with a woman, no one would have said anything. I am 10000% positive that if this had been a woman no one would have said a word! I pointed out to the desk man that I had paid for 2 people. He had the stupidity to say I would still be charged and I could remove it later. I think he noticed my tone of voice was becoming harder. At this point I’m furious. He then said on second though he would check and went to click around on his computer. I do not remember what I said and something to the lines of stupid $&&@!?! Hotel but I signed a paper and I walked off. I should have complained to a manager. The security guard at the elevators actually laughed at us when we finally went back up. He saw us kiss when we first entered and I’m positive he caused this mess. I then had surgery and wanted to have a few friends over to see me but did not dare because i would have to go through a mess of registering each guest. I have traveled to over 30 countries and I’ve stayed in 100’s of the best hotels in this world. (Many of them W’s) I’ve been to some of the most dangerous cities in the world and never have I been so angry. I don’t care what the W’s policy is in bogota but me nor my employees will ever set foot in that hotel again! If you want a good hotel the I’ve stayed at the click clack hotel (a boutique) or jw Marriott. Both of which are closer to the best restaurants and party areas and Neither of which have ever harassed me for bringing a guest to my room!!! To top it off when I left I was told I ate a minibar chocolate bar and drank a water by the same front desk man (I did not touch the mini bar). I was not charged but I wanted to strangle him. Whoever manages this W is not well traveled because of this had happened in any other country of the world it would be ridiculous. You have security there to keep bad people out NOT TO HARASS GUESTS! I’m sure the W bogota makes a lot of money and won’t care to lose one customer but I’m never coming back!

While it is a business-first hotel, it would be great if they could create kid friendly area somewhere that allows the parents to chill with a coffee of a G&T, while the wee ones party on.

Overall, a disappointing experience.

When I approached the manager about this, he said yes there is no AC and sorry you were not told and no other explanation. They were not able to change my room as the hotel was completely sold out.

The bed in this hotel is one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on, and I travel a lot! Nice modern rooms that very clean with a great view and the staff is always helpful. Cons: Major problem for me was my shower. Didn't have hot water at all. When i ran the shower for about 20minutes, then it slightly got warmish. I could barely accept kind of warmness, i had to have cold showers all the time. Day or night did not matter. Every day i complained, they said they will take care of it. Nothing changed even slightly. The room was cold. I instantly reached for the AC, but it only had cooling option. I asked, and they gave me a stand alone, heat blower fan. During my stay, reception and various floors had a major pipe problem, that they had a lot of dripping spots from the ceilings, with buckets and towels underneath. I got one big drop in the head eventually while walking around, seemed clean water, but, you still don't want that. Only reception spoke English, nobody else did.

Cons: The hotel is in the middle of reparations. It means you see a lot of stuff regarding the reparations in the hotel. Twice I had cold water in the bath due to this reason. Personal at the hotel needs to be more attentive to customers needs. Rooms have not the option for heating and sometimes is really cold at night. I think the tips policy at the breakfast buffet should be changed, this is a complete self service facility, not a la carte menu and its inconvenient fot the hotel if people go to eat but need to give tip if there is no service to your table.

Inconsistent water temperature and the shower was leaking, I could not stop it all day. The elevator was mostly not working, the Wifi was really really bad with firewalls that didn't let me know almost anything on the web. I had to use me phone's data as a hotspot to be able to work. I am not sure if this hotel meets the requirements for a 4-star hotel. The hotel looks nice but is not what they pretend to be nor what they charge for. The location is amazing but I would only stay here IF I get a very reduced price.

Cons: Location on busy Autopista Norte is easy to find, but traffic is heavily congested in front of hotel. If you are sensitive to noise, take a room backside. If I owned this hotel, I would replace the matresses and towels... would give this hotel a full 5 star rating.

The hotel itself was very quaint and cozy and in an awesome location. There were lots of restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. You can also walk to the flea market on Sundays. This hotel had an amazing breakfast that was included with our stay...probably one of the best breakfasts I've ever had included with a hotel stay. There were so many options and everything I tried was delicious. There was even a cappuccino machine (a big plus in my book). The room was also very comfortable and spacious. We had requested a quiet room and we definitely got that. We never heard any outside traffic or inside foot traffic. Overall, this was a fantastic find and I would highly recommend staying here and I would absolutely stay here again!!

Cons: When we arrived at this hotel we were told that the room was not available anymore and we would need to go to a partner hotel 2km away (eventhough we booked 3 months in advance). Pros: I took a Junior suite. The King size bed was very comfortable and the room spacious. Excellent staff all around including housekeeping. Everything was clean. The price value is very reasonable for the offering. Breakfast had good variety and quantity. Very good coffee. The breakfast setting is very comfortable in space and available seating.

Pros: the room was big enough, and the staff was very kind.
Cons: I think that maybe the Tv and the sound system needs improvement. I couldn´t connect my devices through Wifi gave how old the things were. It might not be a problem for some, but it could be a deal breaker for others.

Pros: Location is close to main restaurants and just few minutes walk, you do not need to book a taxi at all
Cons: Hotel entrance is hidden from the street, location and access can be tricky to find, this may not be too important but there is no complementary water on the rooms, if you want water you have to buy it from outside as it’s a reasonable price compared to the price they sell it

Cons: bring your own food drink because the mini bar as usual for most hotels at this one's kind of super ridiculous but just expect it and you won't have a problem

Cons: I am thinking that the building the hotel is in was built in the mid eighties and the hotel part got revamped somewhere in the first decade of the 2000's. At this point it is showing its age and is a bit frayed end around some of the edges. It is only little things but that do add up at a point and some were built into the revamp.
