Just an old school glass shower. Broken mirror lights, the vents blow cold directly over your head if you’re on the bed (easiest way to catch a cold), hallways smelled awful, and $4 for small bottle of water? I just stayed in a 5 star hotel the day before and it had better water and it was COMPLIMENTARY! And they charge for sheets, blankets, etc. Nope. Wouldn’t stay here again at all. Wasn’t worth it.

Pros: When I booked the reservation it specifically said pay at counter. Meaning pay upon arrival but I received at call from the front desk manager the morning of arrival saying that I needed to pay to keep my reservations. I told him that my reservations said that I could pay at check in. He said i needed to pay before because the hotel was sold out and my room could potentially not be available. He said I had until check in time to pay it. I agreed and confirmed check in to be at 4:00pm. He said that is correct but I have to pay it by 130pm in order to keep my reservations. He was rude and unprofessional.

Pros: Unfortunately we stayed there only for one night but this night was so good and comfortable! Spacious and clean room in the hotel with kind and polite personal. It’s 3-5 minutes walking from the ocean. The parking was 20$ per day but it’s better to pay this amount cause you feel “safety” on your car with hotel’s parking. Soool good!!!!

Cons: After having to pay earlier then my arrival. I then had an issue with the tv in the first room. The second room had dirty tissues and dirty q-tips on the floor next to the bed and in the bathroom. I did get moved to a third room but I spent more time room hoping then enjoying our family's little getaway.

Cons: There were two sets of room Service dished left in our hallway throughout the night, and had NOT been cleared when we departed the next morning...made things look rather untidy! We noticed dust on our bedside lamp shade, and there was no electrical outlet on our nightstands for recharging our phones. We did enjoy walking the boardwalk and watching for eating establishments that were more in our price-range.

Cons: Right away we couldn't get the TV to work so maintenance had to come to our room, light bulbs above the kitchen table were either burnt out or didnt work. An old AC system that we could not adjust the temperature in the room.

We waited 15 minutes before a manager came by after being called by another customer. He apologized but did nothing to make up for the trouble. The manager told us the store would not open for another hour, 2 and a half hours late. There were about 10 people waiting for the store to open.

Cons: We wanted to get a card to play the slot machines. We went to the front desk and we’re told to go to the cashiers cage. Went there and he gave us weird looks and said he didn’t know what we were taking about. We were then told to go to any game table and get one. All the game tables looked super busy with players and dealers. Then we finally found a woman who told us she can give us a card, but to go to the rewards center if we wanted a free $10 card. So, again, we walked around and finally found a closed rewards center with no idea how to use the kiosk machines. We got the run around just because we wanted to play slots. Needless to say we did not play any slots on our trip.

Cons: I didn't like that room service is only available on the weekends. That's a huge bummer, hopefully they try changing that. Also I booked my stay from Sunday to Thursday. Unfortunately, my error I didn't read that check in was from 4 - 8 p.m. I arrived at 1 a.m. Monday morning. My room wasn't ready or available. I don't remember what the lady said. But I was bummed I didn't sleep in the room I booked. Also I wanted to check out at 7 but since check out it at 12, I was told to book another night or pay 50dollars per hour I stayed there.

One thing that was noticed is that there was water constantly dripping on the outside of our window from the air-conditioning unit above us. It did not seem likely that it would be able to be fixed during our stay, so we did not report it at the time we were there. Maybe someone can take a look at this issue. It seems likely that it would be happening in other rooms also. We stayed in room 1135. Otherwise, all was comfy, warm and dry. Lovely old Hotel. :)

Older hotel so not many elevators, but what made it worse was when the service personnel put the elevators on hotels on hold during the busy mid morning. The hotel needs renovated badly. The hallways had stains on the carpet and the walls looked dirty. The rooms had damage to ALL the furniture which is weird because they make you put down $125 security deposit if damage is done. Sooooo if people are beng charged $125 when they cause damage then FIX the damage! Not staying there again. I'll pay a little extra to stay at the Tropicana.

Pros: I liked the location of the resort itself but traveling through Atlantic City was terrible. If I didn't have to leave the area of the resort it would have been fine but unfortunately that was not the case. The facility was kept well and in good condition. The room was comfortable but the bathroom was small and a little out dated. The balcony was small with a single door instead of sliding doors with a dark drape which blocked the beautiful view. That being said, once on the balcony the view was exceptional as well as the view from the bed room. I booked here for the view which didn't disappoint, however, cleaner windows would have helped.

Thursday I called housekeeping for room service, and a housekeeper was at my door in 30 minutes. A second housekeeper came at 3 p.m., asking if i needed service. One thing i must note, on Wed, my sign was out and the room next door was getting cleaned, no one touched my room. Also their was one housekeeper at the other end of my floor seated in a chair talking on her personal cell.

Pros: I liked the location of the resort itself but traveling through Atlantic City was terrible. If I didn't have to leave the area of the resort it would have been fine but unfortunately that was not the case. The facility was kept well and in good condition. The room was comfortable but the bathroom was small and a little out dated. The balcony was small with a single door instead of sliding doors with a dark drape which blocked the beautiful view. That being said, once on the balcony the view was exceptional as well as the view from the bed room. I booked here for the view which didn't disappoint, however, cleaner windows would have helped.
Cons: I had one bad experience in the Blue Water Grill restaurant on the 7th floor. It was so unpleasant that I cancelled my order, left the restaurant and would not return.

Cons: Fyi, after I had my breakfast on Thursday a.m., instead of going up to my room on the 2nd fl, I asked permission from the front desk guy and he agreed for me use the restroom behind the dining area. When I came out, a lady staff confronted me in an very unfriendly tone, pointing her arm to the back room from where she saw me coming out, "Why were back there???!!!" I answered her back that I had permission. This a.m., she had the same unfriendly manner towards another guest who was having his breakfast with a companion. I actually overheard that guest's comment of how the staff should be nice to a guest.

Cons: The hotel is run down. There is $15 resort fee for the amenities...but I still don’t get what the fee was for. The pool was closed “for the season”, no one told us about the WiFi password until we had to call down. There was no information in the room. Each bed had only two pillows and had to ask front desk for more. Staff seem to all have attitudes and very unprofessional. We booked two rooms so I would assume they would be us in adjoining rooms and we even called and requested it and our rooms were next to each but not adjoining. Doors are very heavy and they naturally slam shut so very loud all day and night. I feel like you could hear toilet a flushing all day and night too. Like the pipes for all the rooms run through the room. Housekeeping was great when we asked for extra trash bag for our trash. Rooms were clean. The rooms did smell like cigarette smoke when we checked in though and rooms are supposed to be non smoking. Hotel just seems very run down and with staff that just don’t seem to care. My group and I definitely will not return. Not worth it. Booked it because it was cheap but you get what you pay for and ended up costing the same as staying as nicer hotel anyways.

Cons: Hallway carpet well past it's prime. Lobby windows/doors needed cleaning. Planters around pool and building were nothing but weeds. Could be a lot nicer if some energy was put into these small details. Also, laundry room area on 2nd floor was gross "close the door or clean it up". All said and done, our stay was pleasant. We spent most of our time out and about. At this price point I guess you can't expect much.

Cons: Motel is very ran down. Needs a lot of updating. Kids running up and down hall all hours of night, and halls smelling bad of pot whole time. Elevator sounded so bad we took the stairs whole time. I'm sure this isn't the worst place, not the best tho.

Cons: The lobby definitely needs a makeover. The elevator was dirty and hardly worked. It jerked and dropped before coming to each stop. The carpet in rooms was horrible and dirty.

Cons: You get what you pay for, the shower pressure sucks,the bed is too low and extremely too soft,woke up with pain. Then when you need an extra few mins to make sure you have everything to check out,they want to charge you 10 bucks an hr like a prostitute.. Nope Never AGAIN.

Cons: Rooms could be upgraded with new electrical outlets. The area is improving but they are right near some low income housing.

Cons: The location to boardwalk was good but neighborhood was sketchy. The bathroom roof was mouldy and the toilet leaked water on the floor. The elevator is just waiting to break down.

There are a great variety of casinos very near to see your favorite show, have dinner or take your chances at one of the games. Our Motel offers Wireless Internet in the lobby, Free SuperStart Breakfast daily, Swimming Pool is open June 22nd to September 3rd, 10am to 7pm. Rooms feature Hairdryers, Refrigerators, AM/FM Alarm Clocks and Irons with Ironing Boards. Our rooms are large and comfortable and you can choose from a King or Two Queen size beds. Pros: we enjoyed that there were no frills. it's an $8 cab to the strip, and a good choice if you just need a place to keep your stuff while you lose your money at the casinos.
Cons: we were scared we might catch aids if we walked barefoot on the carpet... can't say we were thrilled at $10 a day per car, nor the fact that their doors weren't much more than cardboard that showed signs of previous forced entries. it is, however, atlantic city, so our expectations weren't going to amount to much regardless.
