The service was exceptional- with colleagues keen to make sure my visit was as smooth as possible. James was particularly keen to please - making sure that I had a hassle free stay.

"I dunno... whatever the chef puts in it")

All of the public spaces like the lobby, sitting areas, and special event spaces are very grand and beautiful and well kept. Even though the room was disappointing in how worn it felt, it was clean. Cons: Laundry facilities in the two bedroom/one bath suite were ancient, and so were the kitchen appliances—they worked but that was a bit off-putting. The dryer in particular took hours to finish a load.

The hotel also has a lot of interesting history.
Cons: This was our second time staying here and the first time (about two years ago) we had a beautiful, modern room with a gorgeous, well-lit bathroom. This time, not only did the hallway reek of cigarette smoke, our room obviously hadn't been updated and every single hard surface (desk, bedside table, tv stand, etc) had a lot of deep scratches. There were patches on the bathroom walls where the paint was buckling and the "hardwood" floors would just stop about an inch or two from the wall. Light switches didn't work, not all of the outlets worked and the bathroom had terrible lighting - which is important to anyone who puts on makeup. And no mini-fridge to keep waters cool. This is Atlanta, it's hot most of the year, why not think your guests would want cold beverages? For the $300 a night we paid (including parking), we were pretty disappointed. I'd say if you end up staying here, make sure you have an updated room. Otherwise, the quality of the room will distract you from everything else about the hotel that's good. Plus, minor annoyance, even though the woman checking us in knew we were self-parking, she didn't give us a garage pass or explain the parking process so we were lost and as we tried to exit, realized we either had to pay (again) or were obviously missing something to scan at the automated exit machine. We had to park, go in, wait to see someone and then get the correct parking pass.

We used the valet while there and I walked around the car before we left and noticed a little scuff on the front fender and when I brought it to their attention they threw out every excuse as to how it couldn’t have happened there. It was a brand new car and I know it wasn’t there but I didn’t take any pictures before hand so I wouldn’t be able to prove anything. It wasn’t very noticeable so I let it go. But I know to always take pictures before using valet services again

Cons: Unfortunately we had dogs staying in the room opposite us where the owners let it poo in the corridor, pets should be on a separate floor. There were far too many dogs walking around. The pool area wasn’t huge and by early afternoon there was no sun due to location. It also backed on to the car park so not relaxing at all. The “valet” parking was not valet at all, they parked the cars bumper to bumper in a open car park and one day we had to queue on the main road to then be told they would park our car in the overflow car park off site. The bar was poor, it is two cupboards set up in the lobby and wasn’t always open.

Cons: The room was small and while perfectly fine for a solo work trip, I wouldn’t book it if I were traveling with another person. The air conditioning unit was incredibly loud. The shower door didn’t close properly which caused a bit of a mess. I wasn’t told to call to have my room service tray removed and when I left I saw that it had been sitting out in the hall for more than 12 hours.

When I discussed with the front desk they partially refunded and apologized.

The room was really well designed with a two sided glass shower and a Nespresso maker - floor to ceilng glass windows really capped off the experience. They had a DJ at the pool until 7pm who moved to the lounge later in the evening. Everything was super high end classy without being stuffy or trendy. If you can swing it I'd highly recommend.

Cons: The floor that I stayed on was being repainted in the hallways and it appeared in most of the rooms. The door numbers for most of the rroms including mine we're not even up on the wall. I wish they had done a better job while remodeling that area to not make it look so dingy and make me guess which room was mine.bi found a door number sign lying on the floor upside down by my room and when I turned it over it was my room number so I tried that door and it was my room. For the price of this hotel they should do a better job even during a repainting time like this

Pros: The check in process was smooth and the front end staff were extremely helpful. The staff was insightful and offered some great tips on the area.
Cons: I wanted to use the "electronic key" from the Hilton mobile app, but the associate I spoke with wasn't able to help me. Also, the bar area was a bit intimidating with the crowd that was there.

Pros: One of the concierge associates, was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The location was central within walking distance to a lots attractions. Although it was a little pricey there is a marketplace that is open 24/7.
Cons: Our room was not thoroughly cleaned. When we arrived there were crumbs on the floor from the previous guests and finger prints on the mirror leading to the bathroom. For 6 days none of the floors were vacuumed in the hallway or room. There was no pool.

Cons: When we booked with booking.com, our reservation was for a king bed. When we arrived they told us our reservation had been changed by booking to two twins. They did not have any more king beds available so my wife and I had to sleep in different beds, not by choice. The hotel was very accomodating to let us know that on our second night stay we could move to a king room when they had some available, but we didn't want to move rooms after moving in to one. Seems like it was a mistake on booking.com's end and not the hotel though.

Pros: Hotel is fine for a few nights but a little dated in areas and could do with brightening up. Our biggest concern was the bed. They have the usual huge mattresses, which are very comfy. The only issue here is they’re added onto an already fairly high bed. I have to admit I was really worried that if one of us rolled out of bed we would seriously hurt ourselves. Breakfast was ok, nothing special but served a purpose. The staff were all lovely and so friendly and helpful

Cons: My room was not cleaned even though I was out for 8 hours. I don’t believe there was an intent to clean it because two housekeepers knocked on my door in early evening to ask “if I needed anything” but they had no cleaning cart or supplies with them. I needed to have my room cleaned! Isn’t that what we expect when we stay in a hotel?

Cons: Key didn't work. Had to carry my bags up and down the stairs 3 times only to be given a manual key to a sauna. Door/key problems caused me to he late to the concert I came to town for. After the show the room was unbearably stuffy without AC.
