Pros: The staff less the manager was great. I can't say enough good things about the attentiveness of the staff we interacted with. When we arrived, there was a bunch of people waiting for their cars, but we were still greeted and acknowledged.
Cons: For the start rating, and the cost of this place, I was disappointed with the first room. We walked in and there was water every where, the floor was wet. The second room they gave us, was nice, but it had old worn out scratched up furniture.

I’ve stayed in many Ritz and was shocked and sad this location did not have a spa. I don’t mind paying top dollar for accommodations, but this was a huge disappointment.

Cons: I did not get what I paid for and the fact the hotel ask you prior to coming what needs do you have and I told them and showed them the room style and they did have it available but failed to meet my needs. Also we had to run from homeless people

Cons: Some confusion on how to retrieve your car from valet parking. Most hotels have the option to either call or text a number to request your car. The parking ticket I was given had no such option. This was minor.

Cons: Retrieving the car from valet always took too long. For example, the 1st time, we called ahead. The car was present and we said so but we had to wait 15 minutes for them to realize it was. The 2nd time was just disorder and we again were late to an event.

Hotel is hard to navigate - you have to go up some steps for registration....and down steps, and up another few steps to get to the elevator, which is hard to find.
The restaurant staff was inattentive, and more concerned with mocking a customer that had left earlier than asking if I wanted a table, or would like to see the menu. (All of this when the restaurant was empty.
Checking in was VERY annoying. There was a couple at the desk (which looks like a concierge booth) - it took her almost 20 minutes to finish checking in that couple. She was very rude with me. Spoke too fast, and when I asked if she could please repeat, she got upset, and mumbled something incoherent, and then mockingly spoke loud and VERY slowly.

Cons: It's hard to find parking everything was full including the valet parking. The beds could be more comfortable, they are not really soft or joint friendly which surprised me at such a quality hotel and resort.

Cons: The only negative about my stay was that the pull out sofa was extremely uncomfortable. I would not stay in another unit with a pull out sofa. I woke up with my back hurting and my daughter’s side was hurting.

Cons: I keep receiving emails to rate my stay so here goes! I previously stayed in an ALOFT in Raleigh and it was a great experience so I figured I would give it another go. First of all, there's a substantial parking charge that isn't explained upon booking. When I got into my room, there were no trash bags in the trash cans so I was literally throwing my trash into bins like I was in the ghetto. Also, there was a huge dog obnoxiously barking all night long right next to my room. I called the front desk and asked to be moved. The front desk attendant sounded annoyed once I explained the situation. I was told they were full and I couldn't be moved so he would send security to see what the problem with the dog was. Security came up and just looked at my room, and glanced at the room I'm assuming had the dog. The people with the dog must have heard me on the phone complaining so they had briefly quieted their dog. Security left after a few seconds and as soon as he left, the dog was back to barking obnoxiously. Also, the hotel guests had no sense of decency to keep their voices down in the hallways. If it wasn't the dog barking, it was a group of people screaming and laughing in the hallways. No matter the time of day/night. Needless to say, this was the biggest waste of 200 + $ I have ever spent and without a doubt the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Wish I had known prior to spending that money here. I would have gladly chosen to sleep in my car over this hotel.

Cons: The entrance and recpetion signange was non-existent so we took a bit longer to find it and get checked-in. You can't get on site unless you have a room key! The larger rooms could do with more lights in them. In this century it would be environmentally better to have lights that switch of via room key or timer.

Pros: This location is in the middle of downtown Atlanta without being overwhelming. Because of it's size the staff recognized us each day and we had great interactions with the front desk and all the staff especially Gadi, Fern and Latrice. The beds were so comfortable and I wanted to adopt all the pillows. Their REAL breakfast each morning got us out of bed early, even after being out late the night before. I am already looking forward to staying there again next year.

Pros: The hotel's location, accommodations, staff, cleanliness, food etc were great but the noise level every night between midnight and about 5:30AM was untenable. we were unable to sleep mor that an hour or two for two nights running. The noise was from both other guests (VERY loud yelling between the street and 3rd floor rooms) and large heavy equipment being operated on the streets directly outside and around the block 2-3 hours consecutively. Though it was a great location and the breakfasts were nice. We will not stay there when we visit again.

Pros: Location is in walking distance of a lot of great stuff. Just be prepared to deal with the swarms of homeless and you’ll be fine. Breakfast was pretty great actually and goes later than most hotel breakfasts.
Cons: Parking is a hidden cost. $25/day kind of blind sighted me, but then again, parking is expensive anywhere in this area. Easily dropped $100 in 2 days for Atlanta’s crazy parking fees.

Cons: My shoes were stolen in the room. The hotel staff contacted the cleaning person who said she never saw them. I had left them on the bed in a plastic bag. Police were called to investigate.

Pros: The hotel's location, accommodations, staff, cleanliness, food etc were great but the noise level every night between midnight and about 5:30AM was untenable. we were unable to sleep mor that an hour or two for two nights running. The noise was from both other guests (VERY loud yelling between the street and 3rd floor rooms) and large heavy equipment being operated on the streets directly outside and around the block 2-3 hours consecutively. Though it was a great location and the breakfasts were nice. We will not stay there when we visit again.

Pros: Convenient location to my meeting place.
Cons: The hotel owner was having a party which lasted well past 1am in the courtyard. Their party was extremely boisterous and loud after hours. Upon questioning the front desk they informed that it was the hotel owner and they couldn't do anything about it.

Cons: The issue seems to be that since you are downtown they are hyper-vigilant of people who could come into space who are possibly homeless. It felt like walking into a high secure facility every time I walked into the hotel. So unfriendly. The security feels like you are in jail. I would never come there again.

Cons: That the room was dingy and dirty, refrigerator door hanging off the hinges, shelves in the bathroom were dusty and the carpet was visibly dirty. I usually do stretches in the am but couldn't on that carpet.

Pros: Everyone was nice and the bag storage was helpful for us. Our room was very economic? Beds were nice and comfortable but the beds nearly touched the tv dresser. The room was a little tight, but not bad for a night. The bathroom was also small but clean. My brother said his knees nearly touched the wall when he sat on the toilet. Liked the shampoo smell but water pressure was a little low. Close to the park, CNN center, food, etc. Overall we were happy with our stay for the night.

Cons: Elevators took a little long even when there were three, but all weirdly small. The bathroom sink stopper was wonky and didn't work so we just took out the stopper so the water drained. Maybe a little overpriced for such an economic hotel.

Pros: Last time I visited this location, we were in the South Tower and this time we were in the North Tower. It was just as wonderful. The bed was LOVE. SO COMFORTABLE. The room was very clean and the shower is nice and spacious. We had very nice view of the city. Love staying here. You can walk to anything you need.

Cons: It is an older hotel. The lobby is completely updated but the rooms could be updated more. The bathroom was very small with a sliding door that didn’t close completely. Self parking was quite a walk from the car to the inside or hotel.

Cons: We were in the North Tower. However as a smoker, I would have preferred to be in the South Tower to be closer to the parking garage and outside to avoid walking through the lobby every time.

Cons: Everything. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about this hotel is 4 star! Its old and outdated and the hallway smells like a nursing home. The rooms are small and smell like the pool they are facing. Its loud. And the beds are uncomfortable.
