Pros: Amazing villa with Spectacular views and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Looked after everything.

Pros: Absolutely loved our stay. From the welcome experience to the small details like Etro sheets and soaps, it felt luxurious and intimate. A lovely respite from the bustle of Taormina. Would highly recommend.

Pros: Breakfast is excellent (Impressive view, ambiance and thoughtful selection of food). In fact, the restaurant of the hotel is definitely worth going. The staff demonstrates hospitality, good spirit, sence of humour and professionalism. They are very good and helpful in the emergency cases (there is an amazing woman in the hotel who help us treat the sea urchin sting; practically saved us - unlike extremely lazy local hospital). You will have a hearty welcome here and a nice stay.

Pros: I didn’t stay but I booked this for my parents. First off, hands down some of the most prompt and courteous customer service I’ve ever seen. Simona is amazing and always provided me with me the requisite info I needed to book a great stay for my parents. My parents have just returned and confirmed the entire staff including Simona, Olga, Ylenia, Riccardo, and Francesco were beyond hospitable. I can’t thank the team enough and I hear the property’s location, Juliet balcony and breakfast views are to die for. One day I will experience this magical place myself :)

A very friendly welcome makes you feel at home, all staff greet you whenever you see them, it’s clear the staff are very proud of their hotel and it creates a wonderful atmosphere. I stayed at another 4* hotel in Taormina during this visit and this guest experience was by far better of the two. Rooms are clean, neatly presented and the garden is very lovely. The sea view room has a beautiful terrace overlooking the water with sun lounges to enjoy.

Cons: The room was incredibly hot when I checked in during the early evening in peak summer - it would’ve been nice to have had the fan on for arrival as it stayed warm into the evening despite the Airconditioning on full. The decor in the room and bathroom is dated and the design very pokey, the hotel would be stunning and 5 stars with a redesign and refresh as it already has the excellent guest service.

Pros: The whole ambiance of this hotel was wonderful. They make a real effort to recapture the level of service from a bygone era and we loved every second of it. This doesn't mean that service was stuffy or overpowering; instead it was friendly and helpful - something that is lacking from bigger chain hotels. Breakfast was superb. It was ala carte and served either on a terrace overlooking the sea or inside a conservatory. The view from our room was stunninng - sparkling blue sea on one side and Mt Etna on the other. Also, the location is very convenient - it's onoy two or three minutes from the town centre but extremelyh quiet and private.

Cons: Nothing to improve! I can't think of anything I didn't like abvout this hotel. I would certainly recommend it to anyone.

Pros: The staff were absolutely amazing! So very friendly. Mario was extremely helpful in providing advise on local history, details and information about the best way to visit Etna. You can tell he really does take pride in making your stay as comfortable as possible! Would definitely return!

Pros: Everything about this Hotel is wonderful. Just step out the back garden gate to one of the main streets, shopping, restaurants historical sites. Want to go to the beach? A shuttle will take you and bring you back, There are lidos that work with the hotel for preferred pricing. The rooftop sitting and lounge area provides a spectacular view, away from the streets that can be crowded. The staff is there for you to make your stay the best. Breakfast, with a view, was delicious, many choices, great service. We also enjoyed " The Godfather Tour" while there, we booked this ourselves online and were picked up at our hotel for the adventure.

Cons: our beds were separate, so if it had been made to one large bed, that would have been better, That would be a request that I would make ahead of time if I were to go back.

Pros: The staff are fabulous....all went out of their way to be helpful. The location is good and the facilities are very nice. My husband really enjoyed the sauna and steam room. The breakfast was fabulous. The lounge at the top of the hotel has the most incredible view. Our room was very comfortable.

Cons: I am extremely sensitive to minor things around how well a room is maintained over time and I notice small wear and tears and they bother me. For example, I see when there is some accumulated gunk around door hinges in the shower, or small areas of stain around bathroom sink edges, whereas my husband doesn't notice these things at all. I think most would say it was all fine, but these little things bother me because I am a bit intense about cleanliness. About the room there were very small things that bothered me about the bathroom BUT please understand that I am quirks that I assume most people do not have. For example, there is a door to the toilet that did not close all the way and this was very annoying. There were no soap dishes for the bar soap which was inconvenient. Also, I greatly dislike sinks that are square-shaped without any curves because I think it is a bad design.

Pros: Perfectly situated for the town, 2 minute walk. Staff were friendly , efficient and helpful. Clean, modern. Very comfortable. Swimming pool lovely and stunning view. Would recommend this hotel and definitely stay again.

Pros: Taormina was one of my favourite locations to visit and staying at the NH Hotel provided modern facilities with convenient access to the main road. Loved the view from the top terrace looking across Taormina and down towards Catania. The service standard was great. I appreciate the little details and having concierge sit down with you during check-in to explain the hotel and the area ensured we got the most out of the stay.

Cons: The bathroom design is poor as there is inadequate drainage. Anytime we used the shower, it would result in pooling that would spread through the bathroom and into the main corridor of the room. Also, the Hamam had a very odd odour. Like an old wet towel. In contrast to other hotels during our travels, it felt like the the spa and wellness facilities were neglected in the standard of cleanliness required for that kind of space.

Pros: The location is great, close to the Taormina center with stunning views. We had some minor problems with our room (the safe did not work and toilet was leaking) and as a result we got an upgrade which was very nice. The staff was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The cleaning service was very good (twice a day). It is not close to the beach and due to the location of this hotel, walking around can be challenging (lot of steep hills and stairs) but we did not mind. Over all a great experience and I can only recommend it.

Cons: The atmosphere or lack thereof : it is like a morgue, completely quiet, no music , no noise, nothing. Breakfast: very basic for a 5star plus, very limited choice. The property needs some updating: paint peeling off here and there is not acceptable for such an expensive hotel. This is a good 4 star charging 5star+++ prices. We paid 400€ a night which is too expensive for just the view.

Cons: The air conditioning was noisy in both the garden suite room and the double deluxe could not turn it off, there were weddings being held on the terrace and our room was right above the tables, it was nearly 2.00 am when they finally left. when you were by the pool trying to relax the staff started clearing the area and moving things about making lots of noise and at one point they even moved our daughters sun-bed while she was just over talking to us, the man was really arrogant quite rude in fact and shrugged his shoulders, as paying guests I believe that we are due some consideration as well, this property is not cheap, also it states that breakfast is included, then to our surprise it is a continental breakfast, if you wanted any other egg instead of scrambled you had to pay extra, I ordered poached egg on toast I had to send it back as it wasn’t cooked and the toast was two tiny circles, I found a lot of the staff just give the bare minimum when it comes to customer service, I don’t think this hotel should operate as a 5 star more a 4 star, will not be coming back, not the worst hotel we have stayed at and not the best the San Domenico was amazing unfortunately due to refurbishment we picked the San Pietro The rooms were well attended by house keeping and clean front desk were very helpful

Pros: Great cappuccino at breakfast. We had a car and the hotel has private parking and valet service ( reasonable price ). It's not in the ZTL zone and very close to all the sites. Very close to cable car station. Beautiful interior deco, cute garden and great sea view. Staff always available at front desk. Taormina is a beautiful town and we were very happy that we stayed here.

Cons: The breakfast was rather limited. On my first morning I had cereal, and the milk was tepid. There were 4 types of “jam” looking stuff, but it was almost liquid. And none of it was labelled. I had scrambled eggs and bacon one morning and both were cold. On the plus side, the coffee was good. But you’d be very unlucky to stay in an Italian hotel were it wasn’t!

Pros: Loved everything about Hotel Sirius from the moment we arrived. The staff were super friendly. Breakfast was excellent with lots of variety. We had a triple room which was lovely and we had a fantastic large terrace with sunbeds, table and chairs and a fantastic view over the ocean. Location is very good, just a few hundred yards from the cable car station so an easy stroll into the Corso Umberto main street. Hotel Sirius will definitely be our top pick when we return to Taormina next summer.

Pros: This Hotel is perfectly situated in the central location of Taormina. Near everything of importance, the main Square, the Gondola and the main Bus Terminal. The Staff were extremely courteous and helpful, and they collectively spoke many languages, including English. The sights from the balconies and the Main Terrace were absolutely spectacular!!! It is, without a second doubt, the place we shall return and stay with!!!

Pros: Hôtel paradiso is a little gem in heart of Taormina. The staff was wonderful and extremely helpful. The breakfasts were great with breathtaking views of Taormina and mount etna.

Pros: What a great hotel. A touch of old world charm located a short walk from the Corso Umberto. Our room was great. Spotlessly clean with a nice balcony with views of the sea and Mt Etna in the distance. The free beach club & swimming pool is a short 15 min bus trip away. The shuttle runs 3 times a day. The facilities there are good also. The staff of the hotel are extremely pleasant and ever so helpful. Even the hotel owners 80-year-old Grandfather will help you on and off the bus to the beach club... Fantastic!! We would highly commend this hotel. Looking forward to our return!!

Pros: The view is wonderful, from the rooms and from the dining room. Much appreciated is also the private beach and resort with hotel shuttle.

Pros: Great central location with amazing views. The staff was nice and helpful: turn by turn guidance over the phone (as it can be tricky getting there), plus allowing us to take a late checkout free of charge.

Cons: There’s old and with character, and then there’s this: a run down hotel that has surely seen far better times. The outstanding views of the coastline can’t make up for the lack of cleaning. Our double room came with someone’s bunch of hair inside the folded shower mat, a toenail in the ashtray, and a broken chair in the little balcony with garden views. The swimming pool is conveniently located in the next town over - literally a different postcode. Half of the sockets didn’t work, but the aircon did - so that’s a plus. Also, despite what they’ll tell you, breakfast isn’t served at 7:30, but rather at 8am. The breakfast terrace is open from 7:30, but the food slowly makes it to the buffet tables by 8:00am. Bottom line: for 300€ a night, all this is inadmissible. No view makes up for that. The ‘carezza’ the lady at reception gave us at checkout, was a mere 20-30€ discount. Not good enough.
