Pros: Magical lovely

Pros: Good solid hotel, great location. This is an excellent four-star level hotel, great rooms, great service, incredible breakfast, in a perfect location next to the most incredible church in Siracusa, the only building which has continually served as a place of religious observation of one sort or the other for over three thousand years.

Pros: The location was superb. There was no seaview but that did not matter because you could see the Piazza Duomo and the fine architecture. The location was excellent to easily walk around Ortigia and Syracuse. Ambience was brilliant and the evenings were great for walking around especially after having dinner in one of the many fantastic restaurants.

Pros: Fabulous location, very informative and helpful staff, especially Enzo. Breakfast was very good, with lots of variety for all tastes. Nothing was too much trouble for staff to deal with, excellent eating recommendations.

Pros: Stayed in October. Comfortable bed with much appreciated air conditioning in the room. Very good value for money. Apartment is near to archaeological park Neapolis and 20-25 mins walk to Ortygia. Parking was free and easy to find on streets nearby. Stayed 2 nights once parked did not use car. Hotel is in within an apartment block. As we found with most accommodation in Sicily they are relatively easy to find as long as you have taken down the full address and checked the location on a map.

Pros: Brilliant location, 15 minutes walk to everything! Loved the street food two minutes around the corner :)

Pros: Location is perfect for people visiting Siracusa and neighborhood. For the first time we had dinner at roof restaurant and we were amazingly plsd by the hospitality, the quality of food and dishes offered. We will go back again very soon.

Pros: We loved the swimming pool on the roof of the hotel. Also the walk into town, about 25 minutes, was just what we wanted. We enjoy the exercise. The history in Syracuse is fantastic and was what drew us there. The restaurants in Ortigia were brilliant and the wine in Sicily was a very pleasant discovery. There was also live music in two locations both worth a visit. We didn’t eat at the hotel because of the choice of restaurants in town was excellent.

Pros: Building is about a 10 minute walk from the Train station and about a 10 minute walk to Ortygia, the old city Siracusa. Everything was within easy walking distance of the hotel. Both a laundry and a super market were an easy 2 block walk away. Staff were very friendly, helpful and eager to assist. Breakfast was excellent and was more than the standard Sicilian breakfast. The room gave the feel of being in an old castle with arch work from the original building/home still existing... this was for us a huge plus

Pros: The hotel is in a charming old building on one of Syracuse's main boulevards, leading straight to Ortygia and lined with small cafes and restaurants. The room was comfortable and airy. The reception and breakfast staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast coffee prepared and served by a specialist!

Pros: The location was superb, being a short walk from Ortigia and the whole of Syracuse town could easily be explored on foot from there. The breakfast was pretty good but not outstanding. It was a fascinating old stone building with a peaceful internal courtyard. Breakfast could be taken outside on a patio when it was warm enough.

Pros: Great location! Very quiet inside with relaxed outdoor courtyards with a fun, busy neighborhood right outside the door. Easy options to walk to tourist sites. If you are patient you can find free street parking. Nice continental breakfast.

Pros: The location is great, just 5 min from Ortigia, the rooms are amazing, and the lobby very nice. Also the girl at the reception was really helpful.

Pros: The room was very large and very comfortable. The bathroom was very modern with all the trimmings. We took the dinner bed and breakfast option which was excellent value. The evening meal was three courses with more than we could eat. The dishes were local and very fresh. We could not fault the breakfast either. The only problem was the room was a bit hot even with the heating off. I think the locals feel the cold more than us Brits. Unfortunately when we opened the window we got the dreaded mozzies. A small problem with an otherwise excellent stay and very good value for money.

Pros: An older building that has been sympathetically modernised. Room a good size and well equipped with hanging space, luggage rack, seating. Decor attractive. Breakfast good : fresh fruit, cold cuts, eggs, as well as the usual pastries. Coffee made to order. The hotel is on “mainland “ Siracusa, only a short walk from the bridges to Ortigia, and we found the restaurants in the area to be better in quality and value than those on the island.

Pros: Very good size room, historic building, renovated rooms, close to sights, easy parking nearby. Very good breakfast. We had half board and the dinner was good value.

Pros: The location is very good, close to the Ortigia and all monuments. Catania airport bus station is just 3 minutes te foot. The staffs of reception and restaurant are very friendly and helpful. The room quite big and the bed super comfort. The wifi is very fast. I am sure will come back when I visit Siracusa again. It is already my 5th time visiting Sicily.

Pros: The location was excellent; very near to the bridges to Ortigia and a 20 minute walk from the archaeological park. The breakfast was fine. The room was spacious with good facilities. You can make yourself tea in the lounge area to the right of reception. [would've been good if we were told this at check in rather than noticing it at check out]

Pros: The location is good and near the train station and bus station. The hotel is also closed Ortigia island. The lady in the restaurant Pepise is quite friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious. The bed is very comfort and the price is quite cheap compare with in the Ortigia inside hotels.
