Pros: We stayed at Algila for our mini moon and it was great. Helpful staff, lovely room, comfortable bread, delicious breakfast.

Pros: Very nice architecture and designs of the rooms, great facilities and helpful staff. Breakfast great. Location also very good. Sister hotel’s restaurant was also very good, plus there are plenty to choose from in a very short walking distance.

Cons: Nothing, it was all as described and up to its 4Star Superior rating.

Pros: Location is perfect ; we were upgraded and had a junior suite with sea view ; the breakfast was great and the staff very helpful and friendly. The hotel was renewed with extreme taste. We’ve been traveling around the workd for 10 years and it is one of the best stay we have had.

Pros: I could not have had a more comfortable landing. after a rough few hours at the airport I was greeted by the most pleasant and efficient staff I've ever met. the room is spacious, clean, bed is super comfy ;) Breakfast has a large variety, everything is fresh and tasty. My sister has Celiac, the staff offered a huge variety of gluten free options, suggested to bake a fresh gluten free bread and even gave us a special gluten-free Canoli EVERY morning. The staff's smiles and personal touch is priceless!

Pros: The location was wonderful the decor charming

Cons: That it didn’t have a pool air a terrace or any outdoor place

Pros: Very elegant hotel with beautiful furnishings. Breakfast was very good as was the location and staff. I highly recommend this hotel.

Cons: Whilst there was complimentary refreshments available all day, I still would have liked a tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Whilst the room air conditioning was satisfactory, I would have preferred it to be cooler due to the high temperatures in August.

Pros: They were incredible. Upgraded me to a suite, didn’t ask for it at all. All around amazing place

Cons: The location is just on the edge of Ortega ... So it's a couple of blocks walk to get to the heart of Ortega. This is outweighed by the quality of the hotel - which is excellent

Pros: The hotel oozed class from start to finish with wonderful rooms and a fantastic breakfast with knowledgeable, pleasant staff to help whenever needed. Would highly recommend if you’re in the Ortigia or Syracuse area.

Cons: The double bed was made up of two single mattresses which was problematic.

Pros: From outside the building is not impressive as the hotel is located in an apartment block, but don’t let this fool you! It is fully renovated and fresh inside, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the rooms comfortable. We stayed in an airy, big 3-bed room, and were fully happy with the stay. We chose the hotel because it is close to the Greek Theatre, and were not disappointed since it was only a 10 min walk away. Ortigia is a 20 min walk away in the other direction. The breakfast was varied.

Cons: The only thing that could have been given more attention was the balcony as it had not been renovated like the rest of the room.

Cons: The property is located at a busy road junction, so the room was quite loud. The building looks a bit menacing and you have to walk for a good 20 mins to reach Ortygia.

Pros: The view was amazing (we had a room with the sea view on the second floor and a small balcony). The room was nice. The service was good. The breakfast is a small choice but it was maybe the best breakfast I had out of 7 hotels at Sicily during my current stay (17 days). The bed was OK enough for sleeping with a comfort (despite the pillows are terrible fake synthetics, as anywhere else though, but this I dismiss as i always bring with me my own nice high quality feather pillow everywhere, when I stay in some hotels).

Cons: The beach in front of the hotel is terrible, as well as the stairs that goes to it. It is a public beach, it looks dirty, it is a lot of big and small stones so you cannot access the sea so easy (but I was swimming anyway a little bit every morning). This beach is not equipped for relaxation, that is for sure. I might say that you can consider there is no beach at all, you just have a great view from the balcony, that's it. The small in the bathroom was horrible. The administrator of the hotel said that it depends on the weather and on the sea, but I think that was a lie. The bathroom small awful during all the days of our stay, there was no changes at this matter while we were there, and the weather was fine, and the sea was quiet. I think that was some problem with sewerage (canalization). There is no place to park a car anywhere near, so you have to do it very far on a big parking (if there will be some free spaces, which is not always a case). You can walk to this Parking like 20 minutes by the feet, or 5-8 minutes drive with the local city shuttle (1 euro cost), but you have to wait until it arrives. There is no really good restaurant very close to the hotel (for this you have to walk a bit far), and the ones that were close are too average I would say.

Pros: The hotel is in a fantastic location for views and exploring Ortigia and surrounding Siracusa. The staff were all incredibly helpful and spoke multiple languages. The hotel’s private beach is a nice boat ride across the bay, where we were greeted with friendly staff who showed us to beach chairs and set up umbrellas, and a bar with a small menu that was perfect for lunch. Traveling as a family, we were expecting the usual cot made up in a corner, but were greeted with a “family room” that had a queen bed on the first floor, and a loft upstairs with a twin sleeper sofa. The room was beautiful, and the bathroom spacious enough and clean. We also enjoyed the expansive breakfast buffet with a view from the roof. I would definitely stay here again.

Cons: the junior suit is 2 floors,,but unfortunately the first suit the bed room was in higher floor and the aircondion on lower level,,so it was very hot during night,,terrible sleep 2nd the private beach was not beside the hotel and it's not free,I had to take 35 minutes ride by car and paid 30 euros for couple The hammami was extra charge not as mentioned,,

Private beach is OK but what they don't tell you is it's on a different island and takes 20 m on a boat to get there - AND they charge €30 per DAY to use it. Also not private - public on beach either side of hotel section. Aircon is NOT adjustable - hotel decides what is 'fine' and I don't want to sleep in 20° plus because it saves the hotel money. 50% of staff nice other 50% very rude

Pros: Location was excellent. Staff were friendly. Room was quite big and comfortable. Was very clean. Ortigia is just two minutes by walk. Plenty of restaurants and cafes around.

Cons: Breakfast was quite poor. pastries were stale. There were not enough choices for eggs, meat and vegetables. There was no self service for tea coffee and so we had to wait for the waiters who were serving us late. Bar closes at 10:30 which we found to be very early. There was no boiler in the room. Neither was there any complimentary water or tea coffee packets. It's a good hotel but overpriced for what it's worth.

Cons: The room was not as in the pictures presented here. It was smaller and with barely any natural light as the small window faced an even smaller courtyard inside the building itself. There was mold around the shower and everything looked like it was cleaned in a hurry - even the complementary shampoos seemed refilled. We didn't ask for another room as we were only there for a night and less than 12h, otherwise we would have. For a 4 star hotel, it is not acceptable.

Cons: If you expect a 4 stars experience, change your mind! The hotel is not up to standards when it comes to the most important features: room was extremely small making it impossible to fit 2 people with 2 luggage, sound proofing was incredibly poor (we had to change the first room due to air conditioning noise and even in the second room we were constantly disturbed by doors slamming, people walking with luggage over metal floors, sound of neighbours showers and toilet and unidentified noise of hammering at 7am), room furniture needs upgrade and cleaning was questionable with areas in the bathroom that were neglected. To conclude, plastic glasses at breakfast were not only low on sustainability but also low on premium experience.

Pros: The staff went out of their to accommodate you. The hotel is in need of a renovation. everyone super nice. other then that I highly recommend it.
