Pros: From entering the stunning lobby to the beautiful room, everything was wonderful! The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. The complimentary breakfasts were served in a sunny and comfortable room, one of my favorite features of the hotel. Located at the center of the historic district, it is the perfect location to begin the historic walks and tours. And being in walking distance of many great restaurants and pubs was really fun for us. The on-site gourmet restaurant/bar provided a perfect end to the day. This was the best hotel stay we've ever experienced!

Pros: The Marshall House was very comfortable, clean, and friendly. While enjoying the sitting area and wine and cheese, we felt like it was a homey place without giving up our privacy. Being in the city and so close to the shopping was nice . We are telling all our friends to stay here and visit the lovely city of Savannah.

We were able to check in early which was nice to get settled into early in the day. The amenities in the room were great, having a mini fridge and safe are always a plus. Staff was all very polite and welcoming. The front desk was able to hold our bags at check-out until we left for our flight.

Pros: A very clean, upscale and modern hotel right on the riverfront. The Top Deck roof top bar is a great place to hang out and unwind after a day of walking the historic district. Look out over the city or watch the huge cargo ships passing through. You are located above river street with a bunch of neat little stores and just a few blocks away from City Market where there is always something going on. I'd highly recommend this place

I spoke to the front desk manager, after asking to speak to house keeping manager and they sent me to the front desk manager. I had a problem with my room not being cleaned and the told me that it wasn’t his job! Wow! They just had me going from person to person. It was a circus.

The pool was small but clean, and I loved that it was saltwater not chlorine. The hotel is situated within the historic area and we enjoyed seeing the old timber buildings and enjoyed the public squares and parks. Pros: The hotel is in a wonderful location to explore both the River Front and the Historic District. The staff were extremely friendly and the free breakfast is great! Coffee and tea are available 24 hours, which was nice for us in February, it got quite cold at night so it was nice to come back from a long walk along the Riverfront and be able to have a decaf tea/coffee before bed to warm up. Also it is pet friendly! Next time, our dogs will definitely be coming with us. Savannah loves their pets, which was very cool to see!

Pros: Great location...beautiful old hotel with inside courtyard/atrium. Located close to shopping and restaurants and only a short drive from Bay Street and the Savannah Riverfront.
