Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great, quaint bed and breakfast with extremely helpful and kind owners. We would definitely stay again!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: You can't beat the location. Newly renovation building, lots of street parking, shared kitchen and bathroom. Lot's of towels, toiletries very clean and modern. Kitchen is packed with an array of teas and coffees including a healthy smoothie made fresh daily. Great service and they offer a guide with places to go and things to do in the city. Which is short walk from the hotel. Breakfast is complimentary just next door beautiful cafe with seating an wifi you can actually get some work done.
Cons: I didn't like the fact I didn't choose to stay there my entire visit to Iceland, such a great central location.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Nice, quiet residential street. Short walk to shopping area & tourist sights. Having a kitchen (with coffee pot, kettle, dishes, utensils, cooking pots, etc.) in our room was great, since eating out was so expensive. There were 9 of us in three apartments. All of our rooms had different lay-outs, and one of them had a large living room where we could all gather comfortably (Apt. 2) Very friendly, helpful innkeepers, also!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: No fuss, just go and enjoy. Loved being able to cook a bit since eating out is crazy expensive.
Cons: Parking spots are difficult sometimes. The water smelled of sulfur.

Pros: Great location and really nice staff. The people there even made me a lunch box to go since my flight was very early in the morning and I'd miss breakfast.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly. Easy check-in and check-out. Didn't have time to stay for breakfast but they gave us a packed breakfast to take with us the night before.

Excellent 9.4
Pros: Location was easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: They say that they provide a hot breakfast, but I found that this really meant just buffet style eggs and bacon. Everything else was more of a continental breakfast style.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Very good staff, clean and comfortable, splurge restaurant. Arranged several details including transfers and day trips via the staff. Quick walk to old town in both directions - reflecting pool or Hallgrimskirka. Solid.
Cons: Not cheap, rooms are not large, but that's not their fault.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Quiet location, but 10 min walk to everything. Breakfast buffet (hot) included. Absolutely best staff attentive, accommodating, engaging. Houses one of the finer restaurants in the city plus a nice bar downstairs. Tea and coffee and mini bar in the room. Would absolutely stay again.
Cons: Single rooms on the top floor are drafty because of the balcony doors.
Good 6.3
Pros: The young lady receptionist there helped me a lot re the confusion of tour operator about location of picking me up. Really appreciate it.
Good 6.3
Pros: The art gallery and the food. The entire hotel is like a huge art gallery. The staff is very friendly and the kitchen excellent. I can recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Reykjavik.
Good 6.3
Pros: Helpful staff, good location.
Cons: Room was quite small
Good 7.7
Pros: Excellent Location, Great Service, Fabulous Restaurant. They even gave us a free upgrade as they were not too fully booked. The staff were very friendly and could help with anything. Certainly a great base from which to enjoy the City of Reykjavik or from which to take any of the multiple day tours on offer (which the staff were helpful and informed of to help organise). I will stay here again next time.
Good 6.0
Pros: Very good location. The staf was friendly and the high speed internet connection was highly appreciated.
Cons: Soundproofing needs to be improved, we could hear people talking in the room next to us, even though they were talking low.
Good 6.4
Pros: The art. Wi-fi availability. Friendliness of the staff. Warm a touch of traditional and old fashion
Cons: The rooms were just a little tired but nothing a make-over wouldn't fix. Could hear the traffic a little too much.
Okay 5.6
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, good location.
Cons: Two single beds used as a double, very uncomfortable.
Good 6.0
Pros: $review.pros
Cons: Very noisy from street traffic. This may turn me away from visiting again.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: hotel de charme .... we really enjoyed our stay there. everything was perfect!!!
Cons: $review.cons
Good 6.8
Pros: Great location, warm, older, traditional design, great staff.
Cons: Needs to reinvest some money back in the hotel for a makeover. TV's in rooms were 1970 models with fuzzy reception, computer's downstairs were slow and weren't able to print.

Good 6.8
Pros: Nice location, but the rooms were dated, the TV was very old, the wifi worked intermittently, the breakfast buffet was pricey, and the beds were not comfortable.
Okay 4.0
Cons: It was discribed as having a pool which was not accurate because you had to pay extra for that tried to stay one night and cancel the other nights were told couldn't do it with out paying full price, won't book through kayak again
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Located directly next to domestic airport in Reykjavik - very convenient since I flew in/out of airport - walked to airport - no need to take expensive taxi - clean room - friendly staff
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room and all amnesties were great. Very comfortable for our last night in Iceland.
Cons: The extra charges for breakfast were quite high.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Crisp, clean rooms. Sharp lines very modern look inside
Cons: Breakfast is a barely mediocre buffet for 3000isk (about $30) a person
Good 7.7
Pros: Spa was fantastic, breakfast was great but this was expected due to the price you pay.
Cons: Having a double bed which have two beds pushed together was uncomfortable and as a couple we like to be close when we sleep. On this occasion having two single duvets just made this uncomfortable. On check in they told us they were overbooked and that we should chose another of their hotels. The member of staff was rude and talking in Icelandic to other members of staff which made us uncomfortable. We ended up with a room upgrade because of the situation however this is not what we needed after a long day travelling.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Privacy and friendly staff at the reception. Good people standing behind the desk.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Nice rooms, welcoming staff at reception, very clean and comfy. Not walking distance to downtown Reykajvik, but still a very pleasant hotel. If you are going to leisure I would make sure you have a rental car.
Cons: The restaurant wasn't that great, (underdone chicken), waitstaff wasn't friendly, especially if your breakfast wasn't part of the package. The spa staff gave contradictory information to reception staff, so better communication would've been helpful .
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful with information on getting around Reykjavik. The food was excellent. Loved the Folk art and displays in the lobby. It was a very nice stay for my first visit to Iceland.
Cons: The only thing that didn't work was th TV in our room. When the staff couldn't seem to fix it we were given vouchers for a beverage of our choice from the bar. It worked out just fine, instead of sitting in our room we went out and about the city and had a great time, better than TV any day!
Good 7.0
Pros: We loved the swimming pool and the Hotel bar. Great food and service. The staff was very friendly.
Cons: We didnt get the hotel we thought we would, but it turned out that we were fine. The hair dryer was too old, I couldn't wash my hair for 3 days cause I wouldn't be able to dry it.
Okay 4.3
Cons: Location. Even need to catch taxi to the Reykjavik airport so there is no real benefit of staying there.
Good 6.0
Pros: Good parking, location, room size
Cons: Right next to airport runway
Good 7.7
Pros: Stay at the same location as the conference and I used the swimmingpool in the morning
Good 7.3
Pros: Great staff and very help full.. Great restaurant with okay prices even for a student..
Good 6.0
Pros: Service and staff.
Cons: $review.cons
Good 7.6
Pros: Helpful staff at the reception desk
Cons: You're a bit far from the centre [I know you're not very far]. I needed a lift from the univdersity even though I could see the hotel from there. A better walking route would be helpful.
Good 7.6
Pros: Very helpful staff on the reception desk, especially Maria. She does an excellent job with assisting your guests.
Cons: $review.cons
Good 6.0
Pros: Pleasant atmosphere, good breakfast bufffet, friendly staff.
Cons: $review.cons

Good 7.7
Pros: Basic accommodations, but the room was comfortable, quiet, and dark at night. The breakfast was excellent.
Good 6.0
Pros: nicely maintained facilities and a good location walking distance to the bus terminal
Okay 5.2
Pros: The breakfast was good.
Cons: No dinner and not so many restaurants nearby.
Good 7.6
Pros: Friendly, helpful owner, clean and pleasant guesthouse and I had interesting conversations with fellow guests.
Good 7.6
Pros: Very pleasant, helpful staff. Very clean facility. Wonderful breakfasts.
Cons: A little noisy (busy road outside; sound of guests entering/leaving their rooms).
Good 7.6
Pros: The Guest house is built to a boutique hotel standard.
Cons: The location is a bit far from centre of city.
Good 7.2
Pros: The staff was super nice. The room was clean, but the most important thing, for me, was the clean showers and toilets, since they were common. [And they were always clean and available, and with a sense of privacy] the breakfast was really good, and it was pretty close to the center. Not in the heart of town, but in a walking distance, and also close to other sites and facilities, such as the bus terminal for the airport and for day trips]. The free internet access really helped a lot, although sometimes reception was not good. In short it was a really good deal. And I would definitely recommend it to anyone, and will probably come back again.
Cons: One thing I found somewhat disturbing is that I really didn't know how to contact the staff at some points of the day, especially at night. I had to leave really early in the morning, but couldn't find out how to check out. Just left the keys on the bed and left. Usually this would be a good thing, I guess. Because it gives you a sense of privacy and feeling that you are "at home". You don't feel their presence all the time, but you do know they are there. But thinking about emergencies, check outs and some unexpected things, I would have liked to know how and where to contact the staff.
Good 7.6
Pros: Very good location, excellent breakfast, very nice room.

Excellent 8.8
Pros: good value and really close to everything you want to see
Cons: the shower on the ground floor was borderline to hot.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This was clean comfortable small room in downtown Reykjavik. They have a very efficient check in process. The breaksfast was great. It is a very convenient location close to all of the main pedestrian areas.
Cons: The breakfast room was crowded, but everyone was able to get food and eat. An extra towel / bathmat for the shower could have been nice. I used my towel to dry the floor since I was just staying one night.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: location was wonderful, and easy to explane when you are lost because there was a pizza restaurant near by. Also, it was one block away from the famous church. Breakfast was wonderful. couldn't stop eating the bread they provided.
Cons: it maybe difficult to use the restroom, since the building i stayed was a modified house, which had only one bathroom( just one) on the floor with three bed room.

Pros: Clean rooms. Shared kitchen. Shared bathrooms weren't a problem since there were only a few rooms per floor. Breakfast is free and complimentary. We arrived early in the morning before check in and the let us store our bags in the back room. Easy walk to downtown.
Cons: French tourists took my kid's milk box from the shared fridge but that's not the hotel's fault.

Good 7.1
Pros: Walking distance to the main strip, restaurants, shopping, night life. Staff was very friendly. Cute lobby/lounge area.
Cons: Room was tiny!! Very outdated. Bathroom smelled strongly of urine. Wasn't horrible, 3 star hotel. Wouldn't stay more than a night or 2
Okay 4.5
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Crummy bathroom with no place or room for anything. Sulfurous stench water (not filtered as is needed in Reykjavik water system). Noisy smoker area outside tenant windows that kept me awake until four thirty am then restarted at six am). Paper thin walls. Dirty carpets. Just a dump that’s milking tourists.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The fireworks display outside the hotel on new years eve - the closeness to town so that we could pop into town for shopping or eating.
Good 7.6
Pros: Helpfulness of staff, price and location, complimentary drinks. Homely atmosphere. Really nice change from the big chain hotels.
Cons: None really - but a lift would be helpful - relatively few facilities but we were not expecting this - so not really a bad point.
Good 6.0
Pros: the hotel staff were very pleasant
Cons: It would be nice if there were tea and coffee making facilities
Okay 4.4
Pros: The fact that it's open 24x7 and that it's in the city center of Reykjavík
Good 7.2
Pros: Excellent location; clean rooms and great breakfast.
Cons: No soap or shampoo provided.
Good 6.4
Pros: location, free coffee, big tv
Cons: very small room
Mediocre 2.8
Pros: Hintaan sisältyvä langaton verkkoyhteys, joka kuitenkin katkeili jatkuvasti, joten sivujen lataaminen oli toisinaan hankalaa. Aamiaista sai, vaikka poistuminen tapahtui klo 5 aikoihin aamulla, tosin ei voi puhua Buffetista vaikka sellaista mainostavat.
Cons: Room cleaning doesn't work. Huonetta ei siivottu päivittäin. Henkilökunta ei noteerannut reklamointiani yöpymishinnasta, eivätkä ole jälkeenpäinkään reagoineet kirjalliseen kyselyyni.
Okay 4.8
Pros: The rooms were quite clean and the location is very good - quick to all major sites in the city.
Cons: It's a bit pricey for the barebones room. I do understand that all accomodation in Iceland is expensive but had I known I was showering almost over the toilet, I would probably have chosen to hostel it instead. It didn't offer much more than a decent hostel.
Okay 5.2
Pros: location of hotel
Cons: $review.cons

Good 6.5
Pros: The service is great, along with it being easily accessible to the area without being right in downtown/touristy area. View is pretty nice of the city from afar too. We enjoyed the hotel for 4 days while doing day trips around the ring road then walking to the nightlife or hotel bar in the evenings. The staff is pretty accommodating to any needs - the bartending staff had a real knowledge of the area and great tips. I would maybe stay here again, but bring my own pillows next time.
Cons: It is a bit outdated in terms of decor - but the real issue is the pillows. There was nothing to them and it left us with terrible neck strain. Wifi didn't work in our 6th floor room, but they tried to accommodate by placing a hotspot nearby - yet removed it before the end of our stay.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Given a small, quite dated room on top (7th) floor and asked for upgrade but none available. This was not a problem for us as plus points were that it was a clean, quiet room with a comfortable bed and excellent views over the city at night. The hotel itself was very nice apparently with some updating taking place that we never saw or heard whilst there. Credit must be given to the reception staff who were always very pleasant and never put out giving us information and helping us find the best excursions available. The breakfast was very good with a nice choice. We never dined at the hotel after breakfast as we were out and about most of the time but had a few drinks at the bar at night which we thought were expensive but it's roughly the same at most bars/eateries in the city. The hotel was in a very good quiet location within easy reach and walking distance from the main city area. We really liked it here and plan to book again next year as we didn't have time to visit many of the attractions having only booked a 3-night short break. We recommend this hotel. Excursions - A must is The Blue Lagoon a bit expensive at £125 p.p. with return coach travel but a wonderful experience and would visit again! This price was for the comfort pack that includes a towel and a free drink, it's about £21 p.p. dearer for the Premium pack which includes sandals and a robe. We found the Northern Lights a bit of a let down as we only saw a very small pale green 'glow' nowhere what you see in pictures even though it was a clear sky! The 'Hop On - Hop Off' red bus tour around city is also recommended.
Good 6.2
Pros: The staff
Cons: The outdated hotel with drafty windows
Okay 5.7
Pros: Staff was great. Good location but a 15 min walk to the city center with its shops and eateries.
Cons: Rooms were "used" at best. A lot of wear and tear and small holes and dents in walls and doorways. Some non functioning amenities and even issues with one of the elevator banks.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: The proximity to the city and although they didn't have a pool they give free passes to the nearby pool which has sauna steam room and hot tubs.
Cons: The breakfast buffet had the same food every day and there wasn't many options for those who didn't eat pork.
Good 6.2
Pros: The hotel had complimentary breakfast, with many options and great food. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
Cons: The room we had was extremely outdated, it looked like my classroom in public school in the early 90's, with tile and colors from the 60's.
Good 7.1
Pros: - Great price - 10 minute walk to downtown - Good breakfast - Good wifi
Cons: - Very worn linens and furniture - Bed was not the most comfortable
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was super clean, had many amenities and was well appointed (bathrobe, slippers, plenty of towels, a safe, cable Tv and radio, Wifi, some complimentary toiletries, coffee &coffee maker, cork screw, many lamps, great system of curtains, bath tub and shower, etc.). The hotel itself also had many amenities: there are three dining options there ( award winning restaurant, moderate restaurant, and bar fare), a spa and hairdresser in the basement, a bar/lounge with happy hour, a polite and helpful staff, a tourist shop, etc.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: The proximity to the city center and ocean, without any hustle and bustle. The staff was amazing and did whatever they could to accommodate. The views of the sea and the mountains were beautiful.
Cons: Breakfast and dinner buffets are expensive but in line with prices across Iceland. There were renovations creating some confusion on how to get to our room and some exit doors were closed.
Mediocre 2.5
Pros: This is a avery poorly maintained hotel. The staff is not very informative about the Iceland and very unhelpful to customers. The rooms are not cleaned properly and customer complaints not attended promptly. In my five days stay, my room telephone never worked, shower head never fixed, it took two days tho fix the locker. I had to visit the front desk several times to complain but not much was done. Overall it was a very unpleasant experience. We were a group of 15 people that could not call room to room - had to use what is app to communicate and coordinate activities. So sad
Okay 4.0
Pros: Helpful staff, nice view from our room
Cons: The hotel is extremely outdated and our room was dilapidated and tiny. No space to even turn around, horrible bed (with a dent down the middle, so my friend and I kept rolling into each other), cracks in the walls and ceiling, water/rust blocking the light from the ceiling fixture, peeling paint, cheap/ineffective shower curtain, windows that rattled, etc. We didn't complain or ask to change rooms because I can't imagine other rooms are any better. This hotel is a bit creepy and at least 10 years past necessary renovations. It was supposed to be a splurge and a treat for ourselves after 10 days of guesthouses, but was by far our worst accommodation in Iceland. Really disappointing for a Radisson Blu and for the amount we spent.
Good 6.0
Pros: The included breakfast & friendly staff.
Cons: The drafty windows that scream all night because of how much wind they let through. The rooms & hotel need major updating, compared to the other comparable hotels the Blue Saga is seriously dragging behind with decor from the 60's
Okay 5.3
Pros: The restaurants and the spa.
Cons: The rooms are getting old.
Good 7.0
Pros: The staff on the reception could not have been more helpful, phoning to check on trips we had arranged and taking the hastle out of hiring a car.First class service. thanks
Cons: 15 min walk to town
Okay 4.0
Pros: Nothing, probably sauna.
Okay 5.7
Pros: Great value for money, spa, 15min walk to city centre, free parking, internet included
Okay 4.0
Pros: Large variety of breakfast, helpful staff, rooms with a view.
Cons: The bathroom didn't seem to have been cleaned from the previous occupant. The kettle was rusty but was replaced immediately after my request.
Good 7.6
Pros: Quiet but central for our purposes.
Cons: Room temperature was too warm at times.
Okay 4.0
Pros: A close to the downtown. A silent location. Free parking. Friendly receptionists.
Cons: No value for money (too expensive as compared to the quality): The room was very dusty when we arrived. It was obvious that it was not cleaned for a long time. I was not cleaned although we put a sign "Clean the room". A bed was just made and the room was still dusty. Obviously the hotel does not want do this properly since everybody can see dust - cleaners and their superiors just ignore the quality. Another problem was that there is no ventilation in a room - an open window helps a little bit, but not much. Also no more shampoo was given for the 2nd day.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Super friendly staff
Cons: Would love to see swimming faclities added to the property
Good 7.2
Pros: The Staff was very helpful in directing me to and around the city as I was a first time visitor to the city . Overall a very good place to stay..
