|Top route||Sao Paulo Guarulhos Intl to Santiago Arturo Merino Benitez|
|Top airport||Santiago Arturo Merino Benitez|
The flight was overbooked and the solution gave was unrespctful. I arrived 4 hour in advance in the airport and only after 2hous was possible suggest a different ticket with another company LATAM, I have accepted, but when I was checking in at LATAM the tickets was issued without luggage, what it is absurd since I have bought my tickets including it since the beginning. Due to the timing for the next flight was not possible return to Avianca to claim due to the distance between Both companies Avianca and Latam since were located in different terminals. I have insiste to the crew of Latam to call Avianca to solve it, but they could help they were alleging that only paying a thousand pesos Mexicans ($1,000 MXN) to dispatch my luggage would be accepted and I have no money at all. So I had to beg for others passagens, it was an humiliating to exchange luggage with who was platinum in order to return back the luggage in the connection airport in Brazil (GRU). I have no clue that a judicial process would be taken from my side due the lots of stress in sequence by the non professional treatment with a passenger that was just following everything said by Avianca.. Long hours of waiting until next flight and only arrive at final destine in 6hs later..
Check in of my luggage which needed to be paid for was excellent. Thanks to Nora
As usual, LATAM tried to rip me off as a Gringo. They ignored the fact that having paid for my assigned seats, I was entitled to one free luggage per person, up to 10kg, and tried to charge me USD40 per item. While they ripped me off by $160 on my outbound flight (4 luggage pieces, which should have been free), I vehemently protested this time around. Note that they only request this from gringos, not from Spanish speakers. LATAM behaves like a racist extortion organization.
Very courteous crew, the food was good and the flight was on time.
This airline is full of junk fees. After paying to get my kids to sit with me, we were asked at the gate to check in our roller bags and pay $40 for each one. Peruvian passengers all took their roller bag in the plane. I don’t appreciate airlines who spot the gringos to tax them more.
The flight from PDX to New York was cancelled, and I got rebooked one day later. Because of this I missed a meeting at my final destination, EZE. I now need to stay longer in Argentina, and was told the tariff difference was $780 plus $150 penalty! I am not using my return ticket, and have purchased a one way ticket EZE-PDX for $606 with another airline. SHAMEFUL
Everything went good. Excellent airline and customer service!
Our yoga retreat was cancelled and besides not refunding is, they would not even let us change dates or locations. As a matter of fact they wouldn’t even talk to us and kept referring to the travel agent, who said they couldn’t change anything and it was up to the airline to do so. They passed the buck until it was too late to do anything about it. Avoid Latham and Budget Air for your travel plans.
Pros: The customer service
Cons: Excelente atención y servicio
Pros: professional service from employees...
Cons: A snack / water :)
Cons: More humane treatment. Honor diet request
Pros: Nothing as we could not take the flight.
Cons: Allowing the option to change your ticket date, but failing all debit and credit cards payments offered, actually means that they are not allowing flight changes due to COVID related issues like they say they do. We had to book new tickets with another airline to get home.
Pros: Friendly crew
Cons: Baby screaming & passengers not using headphones
Pros: The seat was comfort, good attention, flight on timing 😇
Cons: In several times the plane went down and up, and I think the pilot had no experience or it was the first time flying
Cons: The flight was full and all seats were taken. It means it was impossible to maintain the required and necessary social distancing.
Cons: I needed to change my ticket and Kayak had another agency issue the ticket. Kayak does not change tickets and the third party and the airline said only Kayak could make the change. Having to purchase a whole new ticket from the airline, save the money and frustration and avoid Kayak and just book directly with the airline. The ticket would have and should have been changed with no fees. $325 lesson learned.
Pros: No Crew.
Cons: The flight was cancelled, never went.
Pros: I never flew to Rome because of LATAM!
Cons: Flying home
Pros: Good order and efficient.
Cons: All fine with me.
Pros: The boarding process of back to front was really efficient and thoughtful with the pandemic. And the smocks the FA wore.
Cons: exaggerated restrictions due to covid.
Pros: The crew was nice and the seat was fine
Cons: New seats, internet service and at least water.
Pros: Muito confortável. Boarding muito rápido. Muito bem atendido a bordo.
Cons: Infelizmente o serviço de bordo não pode ser apreciado, mas entendo que é pela segurança dos passageiros.
Pros: The crew was great
Cons: They should be on time but we left 30 minutes later.
Cons: Boarding was very confusing. The waiting area was filled with people milling around, trying to find their line.
Cons: My seat wasn’t clean. Dirt was visible. We used Clorox wipes to clean it before sitting down. If someone had previously sat there with an illness, we would certainly be at risk. Very disappointing to see during Covid-19 outbreak.
Pros: seat was comfortable
Cons: On a long flight, lack of drinking water during the flight, need to improve on this. Lack of communication needs to be improved
Pros: Comfortable flight, friendly staff
Pros: El vuelo fue a tiempo y sobretodo muy facil de obtener el pasabordo. La gente muy amable y eficiente. Gracias!!! The fly was on-time, I got the boarding pass easy and fast, stuff was Wonderful!! Thanks
Cons: At this time all worked perfect for me the way how it is.
