Cons: Room was dirty. The cosmetic comforter had a blood stain (or something that looked like blood). Bellhop answered the phone every 1/3 times. Shuttle ride to conference center was very stuffy, hot.

Cons: We have stayed there before and service was great. This trip was different. Dog was barking near by, hotel was busy and couldn't get help when we needed it. Room had no glasses so couldn't get water. No soap or lotions that are normally there. Friends came to visit and lobby bathrooms were filthy. I get it was a busy weekend, then be staffed for it. When I'm paying 500 dollars for two nights I expect better.

Cons: The fee for parking

Cons: There were a number of simple mix-ups in billing - not getting the room we booked - having to move rooms a number of times, but staff worked hard to rectify.

Cons: no full size mirror in the in room or bath Funky bathroom with sink, mirror in the corner. the shower head did not stay in place. no mini refrigerator. nickel and dime you for little extras.

Cons: Nothing is included! You are charged for every little thing on top of the already over inflated price.

Cons: Nothing at all. Incredible spot.

Cons: After a long day of travel, meetings and entertaining others, I really wanted a beer. Getting to the bar at 10:05 I find it closed. Staff told me it was slow so they decided to close.

Cons: The electric plug ins were hard to use. Half of them would not let you plug anything into them. I found the beds to be hard and the pillows way to soft.

Cons: Food at the Beacons was mediocre at best. We ordered $11.00 glasses of wine for 4 adults and the waitress said they must be served in plastic before college game. We looked around and other people were being served with glass glasses. I requested to have ours repoured into glass and she refused. Even after the game when we once more came in, they served us with plastic and others with glass. We left after one round of 4. We will not be returning to the Beacon pre or post game in the future.

Cons: For the price we paid I was appalled at the condition of the carpeting; stained beyond belief, worn, frayed. Frankly it was shocking. I know, a dumb thing to be shocked at but it was that bad. The ice machines didn't work on several floors. Parking was ridiculous; we had to pay for it and still couldn't park in the hotel lot, necessitating extra hassle on our parts. It is my understanding that there were some events going on that night (weddings, I'm guessing) that filled up the hotel lot but it seems to me it would be more equitable for those attendees to park in the parking garage rather than sending the overnight guests to the parking garage across the street.

Cons: It was very disconcerting to have to crawl under crime scene tape to get into hotel lobby which was swarming with police due to hostage situation in hotel. Yet no escort of any kind to my room. And not even any effort to provide me or my Plant Manager with at least a free meal or drinks in the bar!

Cons: We were told where to park with our fee. As we returned from our outing, there was a tow sticker on our car. How disheartening to travel 6 hours to visit family in the hospital and yet another 2 hour trip after that. What if our car had been towed? Would we have gotten to the hospital to see family or make it to work on time the next day?

Cons: I was charged $256 per night for the same room that costed $120 in May of this year. Parking is $15 per night. I called days ahead asking for a certain view, didn't happen.

Cons: Noisy air conditioning system and noisy neighbors one late night.

Cons: So apparently the hotel only "naturally" cools their rooms in winter and our room was very warm and there is no way to cool your room down then so we roasted the whole time we were there :( Also the fact that you have to take 2 sets of elevators to get in and out of the hotel was kinda inconvenient.

Cons: Glad I checked on the parking situation. They weren't kidding about the tightness of the underground ramp. It was really convenient and was fine for the Subaru, but darn glad we left the pickup at home.

Cons: Awkward structure with lobby several floors above street level. Two sets of elevators - first to get to lobby, second to rooms. Underground parking very tight

Cons: Paying $17 for parking when I had a room! Parking should be free

Cons: Hotel sites indicate the hotel has parking, but do not say that it costs an extra $20 per day. "Parking" should mean "Free Parking". Also, some parking spots are very tricky to get in and out, even with a compact car. Breakfast gets hectic near the finishing time (9 am on weekdays); better get there early if you want to avoid a line and get some food.

Cons: Getting to and from parking was a pain the rear! Did not plan for the parking fees, you need to make this more transparent in your fees.

Cons: We were late in departing the hotel one morning and we told the cleaning service to come back later but they must have forgotten because our room did not get made up. Parking is quite expensive.

Cons: Not familiar with Hotel layout; check in is on the H floor. Parking extra, underground, and you have to switch elevators to get to your room. No meal delivery to the room; not a major issue.

Cons: The rooms need a lot of tlc. The room are pretty rundown. Also there are small but visible spots that seems to be missed during cleaning.

Cons: Told restaurant was open until 12. Was only open until 11. Picked up someone from airport. Could have stopped somewhere on the way back. Shampoo wrecked hair. Strange noises at night. Shower very weak. Charged by them for the room but corrected it.

Cons: The hotel is NOT in Minneapolis! I booked this hotel on phone while on the train heading to MSP using my cell phone. Since the hotel's name has 'Minneapolis' in it I figured the hotel was in the city. I had to take a taxi all the way to Wayzata. . .what the heck!

Cons: The vending machine was out of product

Cons: We were charged a $10 fee for an upgrade that we never requested or agreed to. When I called the receptionist was uber polite and corrected it. A very minor issue.

Cons: charging $3 for a bottle of water

Cons: Some of the furniture was a little beat-up, though not very bad. Room was a little dark; would have appreciated one more lamp.

Cons: The room was dusty. I put a brief case on the counter in our room and it stayed there, only to be opened and closed periodically, and when I moved it on day 3 there was an outline of dust around it.

Cons: Stayed here while Meta-Con was being hosted by the hotel and it was extremely crowded, kids seemed to be having fun but most were obnoxious, rude, and out of line. I wouldn't stay here if the hotel was hosting this event again.

Cons: Was unaware of the NYE party going on in the hotel, extreme security in place to even get to our room, bottle necks at elevators, loud party goers, and strange routes to get from parking to hotel because of the event. Might have chosen another hotel if we had known.

Cons: The ONLY thing I thing could have been better is that I didn’t realize I’d have to pay for parking separate. It was an extra $30 surprise. Not a huge deal, but I feel expectations could have been better. I still would have stayed at this location and I absolutely will come back. 😊

Cons: One big negative was the last minute change from 2 queen beds to one king and "Pull-out" queen. The pull-out was too small and uncomfortable. When I asked about the change, I was told that I booked with third party agent. This came across very negative. I booked a room with two beds and it was changed to one bed and a pull-out. Bad business!!

Cons: -More food options during continental breakfast

Cons: Room took a bit to cool off, but was nice once it did. At check in I was told that since I booked through a third party (Kayak), they put a $200 hold on my credit card that I would get back. I don't travel much, so I didn't understand this. The room was already nonrefundable.

Cons: We've stayed here before and LOVED the breakfast menu. It is a total disappointment now. You don't have the classic options anymore and the chicken and waffles was nothing like expected. Frozen chicken strips and underwhelming waffles. No choice but scrambled eggs. Bring back the eggs Benedict! Also the self serve food computer was down so you can only get soda or snacks when you can find someone to ring it up. Closing the bar down before the concert rush on a Saturday night seems like a silly decision too. Business would have made a killing and staff probably would have made more tips than they do all month. Wish there was a few more options with TV. The connecting of my phone to it if spotty at best.

Cons: There is no sound buffer, at all. Does are slamming through the night, and I could feel them, as well as hear then echo. There was a couple having some very good times at 2:30 in the morning, and that also echoed loudly. There was a domestic dispute in the room next to mine, and it sounded like it was coming from my bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom, there is a vent that is always running in the bathroom, and that is also quite loud. Sleep was difficult to come by both nights if my stay.

Cons: Parking fee, even though the website said included. Breakfast needed far more selection. Minor complaint: Would be helpful if the room had USB charging ports for cell phones. Most hotels include ports in their lamps or alarm clocks.

Cons: Clogged sink/then toilet clogged and that wasn't fixed for 12 hours /tv didn't work/glasses not replaced/towels had stains/no fridge where fridge was meant to be/ no offer to move us or compensate us for inconvenience

Cons: The "standard" beds were tiny. Not ideal for sleeping double. Parking was pricey.

Cons: I had called early in the day that we were scheduled to arrive asking if they could put a cute note in the room along with a couple wine glasses. The lady who helped me on the phone thought it was a great idea. She asked me if I wanted 17th or 18th floor: I said 18th. When we arrived we were put on the 19th floor, the top floor. This would've been a nice surprise if the note and glasses were in the room but they weren't. The room we received also did not have the amenities that were listed when we selected the room online. Features like "spa robe, spa room, kitchen area." It was also listed as the Presidential Suite. I asked the front desk about it, showing them the reservation description on my phone. She then informed me that 3rd party bookings don't have any real say in the amenities in the room, that she was sorry, and there wasn't much she could do. It sounds like a 1st world problem, and I feel like a whiner just typing this up, but it really put a damper on my romantic plans. Had I truly known the room wouldn't have the stuff it said it would I would've kept looking and even spent more on a room that did. I assumed everything would be as I planned and it wasn't until it was too late that I found out his was not the case. Also, kind of odd, the same page that I showed to the front desk to plead my case has now been changed: it doesn't have those features listed anymore. It will be very hard for me to trust the process moving forward.

Cons: It was probably 60 degrees in the room. The thermostat did not work. They ended up giving us a small space heater, which was hardly sufficient. If you can imagine, when you are miserably cold it's difficult to enjoy anything.

Cons: I think having free wi-fi be a standard amenity would be nice considering the standard of hotel that it is. I didn't like only getting it after having to call the front desk and ask about it at a Hilton Hotel. And the vent in the upper corner of our room really loudly transferred sound from another room all night. Mostly of them yelling playing music, guitar and screaming until 3am. The biggest one was that the bedside lamps, while very nice, flickered brightly fairly often no matter what dimness they were set to. They kept triggering migraines in my girlfriend and made her feel awful so we stopped using the lights. If you guys only listen to one thing I mention please fix the lights. It's really important for light sensitive people and can really easily ruin their experience. I also get that you guys dont have parking because you're right in the middle of everything, but comping parking at a ramp would've been really nice. Of you do comp parking I didn't know about it. Also I thought my room would have a tub, that could totally be on me but the pictures didn't really specify at all which one you had. I wanted to try a bath bomb lol. Overall I would've preferred staying somewhere much cheaper out of the middle of the city but still getting all the amenitys like free easy parking, and free wifi I didn't have to ask or call about. With steaks lighting and no noise pollution from other guests. What you guys have is nice looking but it's not worth double the price of somewhere that has those other things right off the bat. Even if they don't have a bar or nice lobby lighting.

Cons: Room windows were drafty, hotel staff seemed generally clueless about their own hotel.

Cons: There were several little things that added up to a disappointing stay for us. Wireless internet was not free in our rooms, which I have only ever experienced at a hotel that was SO nice that it made it worth it to come down to the lobby and use the free wifi. This was not, however, SO nice. The lobby area was small. No late checkout? I have literally never heard of this. I wasn't allowed to check in until 3, so why do I have to be out of the room by noon? They forgot to take off the disabled movies from the previous resident. Again - not a huge deal, but when I called the front desk, the person told me "that's just how it is sometimes" and he "doesn't know how the movies work up there." O-kay... so I asked to speak with a manager, and was placed on hold for way too long. Someone finally called us back and fixed it, but at that point we didn't really feel like spending the money on it. They really should have offered us a free movie or something to make up for it. Oh, they forgot towels when cleaning the room. And there were only 2 to begin with. This seems like a pretty basic step. All of this would have been fine/expected at a 2-3 star hotel, but I expected a little better from this one.

Cons: Kind of a crappy shower, no internet access in the gym (including on the networked machines themselves).

Cons: Shower leaked and cupboard door fell off despite being fixed once. I was never told the price of parking. Last year it was free. This year it was $22 a day. Would have like to have known. High cost for in room Internet.

Cons: Bed was ok. The view was just of the building across the way. No pool for guests.
