Location was perfect for our stay.
Parking was limited and expensive. They should offer free parking the rates they are charging for the mediocre rooms.
Dirty Room, Small Beds
I went to my room after checking in, and it was “lived in” - messy beds, TV on, and dirty dishes. I was assigned a new room. It was obvious that the two beds were full sized beds, not queen sized. This was not what was advertised. I was there alone, so bed size didn’t impact me, but the bed size difference for a couple would be noticeable.
Location,staff,quiet
Room starting to look worn. Bedside lamp needed new bulb. In room coffee maker full of scale deposits and would not heat properly. Maids cart parked in our hallway overnight in front of open service room door. Many carpet stains.
We went there for a bachelorette party - The front desk was able to get us in for early check in so we could decorate the room, and the customer service was OUTSTANDING. Hotel is beautiful - Will definitely book again
Nice
Nice rooms with modern fixtures. My favorite was the lighting in the bathroom
Parking was TERRIBLE. I was not notified of parking arrangements for guests during check-in
Great hip spot, clean, modern/chic, lacks services
Design, very comfy bed, wonderful bathroom, great room service
No in-room movies (contrary to advertisement), Internet was down whole first night (also contrary to advertising), maids come into the room early despite the "do not disturb" sign...multiple times both days we stayed, front desk help was apathetic and snarky.
Staff was friendly and helpful. We had breakfast at the restaurant and it was excellent!
The staff were helpful in upgrading our accommodations after we expressed disappointment with the room we booked. (See below)
The hotel is misleading in what it advertises as a "junior suite" for which they charge $50 extra per night. It is not a suite. It is just a large room. And it's not even good extra space. Just an oversized entry way and an extra strip of space between the bed and TV. Also, when i booked, there was no mention that the room didn't have a window to the outdoors; just an atrium view. Definitely not worth paying for. But the staff was kind enough to get us a better room. Apparently they've heard this complaint before. My biggest complaint is with Kayak/Orbitz customer service. The first person I called was helpful, but got disconnected. The second argued with me and then refused to escalate me to his manager. Instead he tried to transfer me to the hotel, but nobody answered. I called back again and asked for a manager at Orbitz, but nobody answered there either. I wanted to reward Kayak with the booking since I used their service to find the hotel, but I will never book via Kayak again after that atrocious customer service.
Modern. Great hip design
Was all good
A modern contemporary room. Comfortable, stylish and right downtown. We walked to events and resturaunts during our stay.
The room was clean, modern and pleasant. The amenities current and thoughtful.
There seemed to be a lot of noise that traveled into our room from the hall (loud laughter from a group roaming the halls at 3AM) and I could hear the unanswered alarm going off for an hour in the neighboring room. We were in room # 717.
The new rooms were beautiful and big! Very European. I Liked the new design and layout. Bathroom was fun to try since it would be impractical in one's own house! Decor and colors were soothing!
The chair in the new room was not very cozy and comfortable. Something softer would be great. Also, the towels are a long way in a cold room from the shower. It would be great if there could be one of those towel warming racks on a nearby wall. Maybe at the other end of the tub - it would be closer!
I liked it that even though I booked the reservation online and they had no record of my reservation when I checked in, they found a room for us and upgraded us for a minimal charge. They were very accommodating and apologetic.
