Cons: The hotel was helpful in all ways I got stuck there during a typhoon where no boats, cars, or planes could leave the island. So i just had book something and this is what was available. The staff was helpful and full lf good smiles. They were good in giving information and checking things up regarding the typhoon. The suites were great with an exellent view . Didt really get enjoy it and check the rest of the property out since we checked in late and left early morning

Cons: The staff are pretty rude! Not the front desk but everywhere else. No bother in helping you at all and if they do they are very rude about it and just point you instead of really helping! Not so foreign friendly at all.. Please teach staff to be more courteous to guest! i don't know if that's just how they are but in Las Vegas everyone is very courteous and helpful rather than just pointing! This is what makes Las Vegas one of kind! They really make you not want to leave!!!

Cons: Macau is expensive. Food, transport and activities. Taxi drivers can't speak English so be prepared with the printout of the Chinese words, of the venue you are heading.

Literally everything about our stay was fantastic, not a single bad word to say! We barely left the hotel except a quick visit to the casino at the Venetian.
We will absolutely be coming back!

Pros: Excellent hotel with excellent location. Extremely clean and comfortable. Easy to access everywhere. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly filipino staff, they make our trip more interesting with their advices and tips about the city. We were impressed by the efficiency housekeeping too. Would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody. It’s true example of hospitality. Thank you Mr. Patrick Ong for the birthday cake for my mom, we really enjoyed it. Thanks again GRAND LAPA!

Pros: The outside swimming pool is brilliant and all the staffs are very helpful and kind. The location is also central so that you can reach to the landmarks in 15 mins by walking.
Cons: Currently there is a renovation going on and it was disturbing. Although the hotel says there is no construction going on Sundays but I was suffered by the renovation noise from the morning. Also, there is a thin wall between rooms so we heard the very embarrassing intimate noise but quite obvious from the next door in the middle of the night.

Pros: The staffs are nice and helpful. I am totally okay to stay in this hotel again if the price less than $90. The location is easy for me to find a taxi. Very convenient to go to anywhere in Macau with a small pay for example mop$90 to Venetian and mop$60 to central.
Cons: I booked at wrong timing. It is in construction for remodeling the hotel. It is very noisy. They startet at 10am - 6pm. The hotel seems a little bit old school. That is why it needs to be remodeled and offered a low price for me.

Cons: Try to cheat customer by inflating prices and playing around with bogus listing ( which says inclusive of all taxes) but then they add taxes, despite showing several screenshots and proof. This is because booking.com and hotel together try to play this scam. However this matter is subject of dispute, Beware of booking.com as well as concerned hotel who use such practice to compete , to win an edge over others and finally ripoff customer with another 20 to 30 $.

Pros: Staff is very friendly and highly customer oriented. We firstly got a smoking room but since the windows couldn't open we asked for a non-smoking one instead. With no questions asked, we got a bigger room. The bathtub was great, high water pressure.
Cons: Opening a window in this hotel is just not an option. Since we got there from China we were looking forward to some fresh air.

Cons: Receptionists are very poor, no smile with zero welcome from them. Other staffs are not helpful and seems to be a culture thingy whereby staffs don't really smile for their customers. Feedback on the first day about the faulty lock, and it remains the same after 4 days later. Bad service.

On the second floor is the hotel restaurant. There are a few local restaurants around the square in front of the hotel, two supermarkets within a few minutes walk and loads of other options for food and drinks as you go closer to the main sightseeing area in the World Heritage area. During our recent stay, our room was the same as what we had experienced previously at Hotel S. The room included Two single beds, both comfortable. There is a small table, desk & chair, flat screen TV, fridge, kettle and a Nespresso machine (3 capsules) and a safe. There is plenty of space for luggage, fair views of the city if you are on upper level floors. The bathroom is standard size and fine.

Pros: excellent location. bus stop is just in front of the hotel. if you take the cruise sightseeing, the ferry terminal is just behind the hotel. Chinese restos are near the place. 7/11 is around 50 meters away. tourist spots are walking distance from this hotel. hotel service is very good especially the Chinese frontliner guy who assisted me around 3am in the morning when I arrived. he accepted my 2 bags for safekeeping while I walk around and tour the city until my check in time 3pm.

Cons: When we arrived the front desk personnel and I had a hard time communicating because of communication barrier. I didn't catch what he wanted to tell to me but it turns out he only needs a deposit for the reserved rooms. Front desk personnel should have good communication skills because they're the frontliners.

After some research, we were VERY lucky to find this super little hotel which offered a good room rate, free breakfast and a perfect location. Once we arrived at Gongbei Port in Macao, it was easy to grab a metred taxi which took us directly to our hotel door within a quick 15minute drive : 50 Hong Kong Dollars. Macao accepts Hong Kong Dollars as well as their own currency (MOP) Pataca. The hotel staff spoke English (heavily accented) but still very helpful and friendly. There is an English speaking currency exchange right next to the hotel. The room was quiet, small and clean but had everything we needed for one night including a hairdryer. There were also complimentary bottles of water in the room. The room also has some basic complimentary toiletries (soap/shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, Q tips, comb, etc) and slippers. The rate includes a basic breakfast of cereal, fabulous coffee, juice, noodles, eggs, bacon, sausage, rice porridge, salad and fried rice. The hotel is in a GREAT location with historic tourist attractions (Ruins of St Paul's, Senado Square, Forte de Macao and a lot more) within walking distance +- 12minutes walk. There are many restaurants within walking distance, mini supermarkets, and even a McDonalds close by [next to a large ParknShop Supermarket]. We would highly recommend you eat at the little eatery next to the hotel called Roomage 30 - the food and service are fantastic. Kindly note that the hotel does not offer any parking and street parking is very limited. I have included some photos of the hotel exterior, reception area, room, park opposite the hotel and currency exchange next door.

Cons: Noisy and rude mainlanders (what's new?) made would be an enjoyable experience horrible. Had to call front desk twice to get them to tell them to shut up. First time I called it didn't seem to work. Second time I got someone who couldn't speak English unlike the previous guy. Had to go downstairs and muster up my limited Chinese to tell him what is going on. He told them to be quiet but they continued afterwards.
This place needs to always have someone on duty who can speak English and Chinese!
