Macau hotels near St. Augustine's Square

Pros: The staffs are nice and helpful. I am totally okay to stay in this hotel again if the price less than $90. The location is easy for me to find a taxi. Very convenient to go to anywhere in Macau with a small pay for example mop$90 to Venetian and mop$60 to central.

Pros: Great hotel with great amenities in a great location. Pool facility is fantastic and staff was extremely accomodating. Room itself was a tad dated, but upkeep was great. Location near the main ferry terminal is fantastic. With regards to some of the poorer reviews, the key is value. If you are showing up here and expecting a brand new five-star hotel, you are going to be a little disappointed. If that is what you want, there are plenty of options down the street that cost 5X as much. For me, I found the Grand Lapa to be a tremendous value that exceeded my expectations.

Pros: Central, easy access to all neighboring hotels. Had pleasant encounters with the staff, particularly the Filipinos (Filipino ladies in Bene who despite the full load would take the time to speak with other guests and even offer to cut a dragonfruit for me, Wilson Webster at the SPG front desk who made our first encounter in the hotel a funny and pleasant one and Earth Espinosa also in Bene who serviced us with gusto) and one Chinese lady from housekeeping Wu Guan Mei who made our stay a touching experience with a tiny gesture of leaving an extra bottle of water with a note (in Chinese, which we asked someone to translate) after seeing lots of medicine (maintenance meds) on the table. Tiny gestures such as these remind us of how the world can be a much better place with a little thought and kindness.

Pros: I loved the fact that the services were excellent. The room was spacious and the breakfast buffet was excellent

Pros: Location is good. Close to the airport with a free shuttle. Other resorts such as Parisian, Venetian or Wynn palace are nearby (walking distance). Stuff is friendly and tries to be helpful.

Pros: Nice older hotel with good facilities, friendly staff and excellent Chinese restaurant in the lobby. Also, Guia Hill area is a very nice area of Macau to walk and explore the real Macau, not the casinos. I will stay there again.

Pros: Location, location, location..near all the major shopping, restaurants, casinos by foot. The staff are professional and great..always had a fluent staff on duty. Left my passport in room safe and remembered it when I was at Macao Museum..called and they already had retrieved, itemized, and safety sealed it in a plastic bag for me.
