Pros: My flight was late. Hertz said they would wait for me. They didn't. I never rented a car.
Pros: The value was good. The vehicle was comfortable (a Dodge mini-van).
Cons: We had to wait for over 1.5 hours to pick up the vehicle, as the car was not clean when we arrived for pickup. They supposedly had to wash it and clean out the inside. The outside was done with what looked like a muddy rag.
Pros: Very friendly, quick, clean....and drop off in Boulder was so fast we almost wonder if it IS checked in!
Cons: Everything was perfect.

Cons: clean the car ... looks like they just ran it thru the wash. spend $35 to get it cleaned and returned it with half a tank full. it only started with 1/3 of a tank.

Cons: Had to pay $10 extra for a vehicle that better suited our needs, just felt that the vehicle I reserved was closer to the one I had to pay the upgrade fee on.. aside from that it was a great experience.
Pros: Absolutely nothing, they left me stranded with no van and I had to buy a last minute one way ticket.
Cons: The staff could have given a damn, lifted a finger and helped me instead of not caring one bit. It's no wonder hertz is going bankrupt.
Pros: the young lady at the reception desk was super nice and so helpful. She was like a little ray of sunshine after our long Flight etc. She helped us patiently with all our questions and needs. Ahe was also working when we dropped off. Another perfect transaction handled with a smile and politeness
Cons: I've made reservation for noon time, I've showed up at 12:15 and nobody was there, apparently they close at 12, but there was no clear mention of it during reservation steps. I rented a vehicle from Enterprise and lost an hour because of it.
Pros: The drop off in Santa Barbara was great. The people were helpful, kind, and they knew what they were doing.
Cons: The San Jose location did not have a car for us at all, even though we had reserved, and they failed to let us know ahead of time. So we drove all the way out of SF to get the rental car, arrived there, and they said "Wait time is estimated at about an hour, but that is not a guarantee that you will have a rental car in an hour." They had several other people also waiting around for previously reserved cars that were not there. We went with this location because it was so much less expensive than picking up at the airport, which is fine as long as getting a car 2 hours later than expected works.

Cons: Literally everything other than the staff could've been better. The car smelled funny. It ran poorly. It had 41,000+ miles on it. I won't rent from Hertz again

Cons: Since I didn't have additional money for holding in case of liability on a credit card specifically ( I could have paid cash or used a debit card) I couldn't get the car that I had ALREADY PAID FOR in advance. I have no refund either. I totally threw a wrench in my family's vacation.
Cons: Manager did plan for a car of the class (luxury) that is reserved and pre-paid. However, car was to be brought from another location and did not make it in time. No luxury fur me! He did his best to deal with it- but I did not get the car I reserved, and was there fir an hour! No kine... just took so long to deal with because the driver /transport was missing, should have been back and did not answer several calls from manager. Big foul up. Do not appreciate it. Booked luxury class for a reason... an suv is not an upgrade from luxury.
