Delayed over 6 hours then sat on tarmac for over an hour
My screen wasn’t working property, nor was the headphone jack so to hear the tv/movies. So I sat without entertainment for 10 HOURS! Also, the food was completely unacceptable. I have bought better food out of vending machines. I have flown 100’s of times and I have to say this was the WORST food I have ever had on a plane. I’m quite surprised actually. I’ve flown with Hawaiian before and probably will again inter island but NEVER again for long flights. It was all so disappointing and that’s not what I expect from them.
Pros: Crew was very nice, it’s also nice to receive a warm meal.
Cons: Entertainment
Pros: The back restroom was kept clean throughout the flight. A meal was served.
Pros: Very good free food, which was very nice. Friendly, helpful attendants.
Cons: They had no earbuds so I couldn’t use the entertainment.
Pros: Crew was knowledgeable about islands.
Cons: There were no precautions taken due to Covid. It felt very crowded and gave us a feeling of insecurity.
Pros: Always very hospitable and attentive crew.
Cons: Love that Hawaiian offers quite a bit of food during flight, but there are no vegan options.
Pros: Was easy on and off and seating was as expected
Cons: Thought the whole experience was fine
Pros: Friendly onboard crew
Cons: Boarding and Departure was delayed without explanation. But not a big deal.
Pros: Friendly crew
Pros: Lots of space
Cons: Broken backup computer not identified until 5 minutes before takeoff. Pilot said would be delayed one hour. Delayed four hours and didn’t get in until midnight, with busy day at work next day. Four hours is a lot longer than one hour. Just say four hours up front. Luckily we didn’t have to make a connecting flight. I would have been quite upset if I missed a connecting flight because they said it would only be a one hour delay and I didn’t try to switch to another flight because I was falsely told it would only be one hour.
Pros: The crew was really nice
Cons: Nothing
Cons: If we took the flight. It never happened
Cons: Hawaiian airlines handling of canceling flights due to the virus was not good. They just canceled without notice or help on putting me on another flight home. JetBlue was amazing and took care of everything for me. If it wasn't for JetBlue notification of canceled flights, and a manager taking care of rebooking for me, I would not have made it home to Hawaii. Hawaiian airlines was no help at all
Pros: Awesome airlines. Everything was very comfortable
Cons: I was very pleased with their services
Pros: Very nice flight and helpful agents
Cons: Free drinks? No they didnt have them but that would've been nice
Pros: What a great flight! The crew, the food, the seats, the entertainment, EVERYTHING! Thank you!
Pros: Friendly crew, efficient.
Cons: Check in with partner airline was super glitchy
Pros: First class was super comfortable!
Cons: If there was eggs with the breakfast
Cons: I loved the extra space on the plane and that food was served, as well as drinks and snacks. The whole experience was a wonderful welcome to the islands!
Pros: Crew was excellent. Service and friendliness were outstanding. First class seats in are like cocoons with privacy and full recline seats. Individual IPads for personal entertainment; movies, TV and music.
Cons: Food was Hawaiian/Asian? Noodles, grilled Tofu, and marinated vegetables not to my personal liking.
Cons: Less uncourteous flyers
Pros: The crew was kind and friendly
Cons: Cushions could have been better. Butt got sore
Cons: Security screening in Maui was horrendous
Pros: Crew was amazing!
Cons: Getting through the ag inspection followed by security was a bear!!!
Cons: I dont like theyre checkin in process. Dont like that they dont have tablets and only rely in theyre app for entertainment. Prefer Alaska for these reasons.
