Cons:These people are crooks - they charged me $200 extra for no reason, they literally charged me against their own invoice and I am having to dispute with my credit card company. In addition, they do not honor Kayak pricing even though they book through them; the actual car was $40 more than what Kayak assured me it would be. Next, they take forever to take you to and from the airport so give yourself an hour plus each way despite the fact they are literally 5 minutes from JFK. Further to that, they are wanting to charge me over $1600 for a 2 inch surface scratch on the front bumper, as they are clearly trying to run an insurance scam; I will be engaging with my attorney to settle this which I am sure they are not used to this and solely used to ripping people off.Reviewed 19 Oct 2016

Too many hidden feesCons:When I made the reservation there was no mention of a deposit Since I was pre paying I thought that the quote was all I had to pay Instead they want a deposit as well. Fine. but then They tell me they can't split the payment between my credit card and my debit. And because I had to put it all on my debit I have to get the 19 dollar a day insurance which I wouldn't have to if using a credit card. So this doubles the cost of the rental. When I return the car there is construction on the road so I am running late. they tell me they can't give me any lee way past the grace period so I rush as fast as I can through terrible New York traffic and don't stop to fill up the gas. I'm late anyway of course. turns out they do not charge me for an extra day but I do get charged and extra 72.00 dollars for gas. If I knew they weren't gonna charge me for an extra day I would have stopped to fill up the tank. Just some better and mor understanding customer service would have made a world of difference in this whole experience.Reviewed 30 Oct 2017

A major annoyance that was mostly my fault, but still.Pros:I never actually rented a car as there were none available once I got there.Cons:I had reserved a car. When I woke up in the morning my stomach was upset, so I knew that I'd be late. The car was reserved at JFK. I called them and asked what was their policy on being late. Their website said, or at least I thought it said, that they would hold cars for 2 hours, after that time I could still get a reservation but only if there were cars available. I gave an estimated time that I'd be there and whoever the representative was said that I should still make the trip to JFK because he was pretty certain cars would be there. After that over an hour trip I was then told when I called for the shuttle that, no, they did not have any cars left. So I booked a zipcar. I just wish they would have said what the actual likelihood of getting a car was so I could have saved some time.Reviewed 26 Jun 2017

DON'T RENT HEREPros:Car was fine but worst rental place I have ever been.Cons:Terrible. First, they refused to honor the unlimited mileage and told me it was max 50 miles/day, which is insane. The woman at the counter told me 250 a day after I complained, but I checked the rental booklet and she had lied. WORSE: they do not sell liability or comprehensive insurance. If you do not carry your own auto insurance you are driving off the lot illegally and if you are pulled over the car will be towed. I called their corporate line and was told every location offers liability insurance, when I asked about the discrepancy I was just patched through to the JFK office who told me they weren't offering it. Scammy, surly and rude, borderline fraud. Do not use this place. Walk. Crawl. Beg for the power of flight. Do not use this place.Reviewed 12 Jan 2017

Horrible, What a joke, a waste of time!!!!Pros:When I saw the rates on Kayak I thought I found a deal, how wrong was I.Cons:After taken public transportation for almost 2 hours to get to the rental company, I was welcomed to did you fly in today. To that my answer was no, (the truth, if I would have lied, none of this would have happened). I was then told that I would not have unlimited miles, even though my booking and confirmation from Kayak says I did, they refused to honor my reservation. I was scheduled to drive out at 3am, and now it's 7:20pm. Just terrible!! I left with no car and had to take another 2 hours to get home. A horrible experience, the worst I ever had and I been renting cars for over 20 years. The absolute worst and I would not recommend this rental company if someone paid me a million dollars.Reviewed 24 Oct 2016

Pros:The car didn't break down on the trip.Cons:Far from the airport, shuttle service required a phone call and instructions were very confusing, shuttle was very slow to arrive, office was slow too, basically a portable trailer in a shady lot, lots of added fees and people returning cars being charged ridiculous amounts, required their insurance which they didn't even show terms/conditions of, they don't even show you the contract papers, they ask you to sign a blank iPad!! No good!! Car "upgrade" was filthy, dirty stained interior and smelled bad, brakes were not working very well once we got on the road. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. You might think a bigger company is more expensive but you'll pay less, they add all sorts of extra fees. SCAM!!! DO NOT RENT HERE!!!Reviewed 20 May 2017

Pros:valueCons:only had one car available (i prefer a choice) The car drove fine on the highway but made odd grinding noises at city speed. They had no car to exchange it with but suggested that I bring it back for their mechanic to look at. I rented a car so that I could drive to appointments not to spend time at a mechanic. They did have a car available for an exchange the following evening. I had to drive back to jfk -45 minutes each way. The only car they had available had a dashboard light indicating tire balance issues. I took it anyhow and the warning lights kept blinking on for the duration of my rental. It was a great value for JFK but I would rethink renting with them again.Reviewed 3 Nov 2016

Good Price - Fee trapPros:Quick and easy pickup and drop off. Used a tablet to video and mark all prior scratches to the car to avoid future disputes.Cons:A little sleazy on the fees, Extra driver fee, Easypass fee, $8/gallon if you forget to fill up when you return, etc. All avoidable but you have to be careful. Also, I ordered a large size car. When I got there they said they didn't have one so I had to be down graded to midsize. They only gave me regular midsize rate. No discount for having to squeeze into a midsize with three car seats and suitcases. No offer to rent me a car from other rental. Just a curt "we're downgrading you." That's what you get for so cheap + no money payed for booking.Reviewed 24 Aug 2017

You pay for what you get!Pros:I loved the price.Cons:The customer service at the rental office was horrible. The man was arguing with me about whether or not my insurance covered me in their car. I ended up paying for the insurance but later found that I am actually covered by my insurance in any car I enter...as I was trying to tell him, but he was arguing with me and I just wanted to leave ASAP and hit the road. Complete attitude problem. His assistant was much nicer and informative. The car was a hyundai automatic with no automatic windows or locks. It was very worrisome whether or not I would leave the car open. The car given was very poor quality. The mile restrictions area little unreasonable as well.Reviewed 9 Nov 2015

Avoid them unless you really want to take a riskPros:they had a car available.Cons:They are the only company that didn't have a phone kiosk at the airport terminal. It was an hour long goose chase to find the place. CALL THEIR NUMBER as soon as you get off the plane. They are a 15 min drive OFF location. When we returned the car, they tried to charge us for a smudge on the side of the car that was easily wiped off. I had to complain to staff, then the boss also before they stated they wouldn't put a claim on the condition of the car. The place was a trailer in a barbed wire lot, the place smelled and the staff were rude. I informed them that there is no way to know where the are at the airport terminal, maybe you guys could put up a sign or something? "Lady, you are preaching to the choir. We deal with the same complaint all day" But we landed at 1 PM and it's now 2:30? This is a ridiculous amount of time to get to the car rental place? "We know, we've told our bosses." read the other reviews, this place is cheap, shady and looking for any scam to pull. good. luck.Reviewed 21 Sep 2016

Economy was there every step of the way.Pros:Highly suggest. A quick walk from Airtran at JFK, cutting time with shuttle. The car was ready and freshly washed. A video of surface scratches was made on the spot and emailed. The personnel were all very helpful and personable, with good advice on direction. And what a deal. Came through in a pinch, too, at the last minute. Even the other customers there were in a good mood.Cons:At first it seemed difficult to find but with GPS I got there easily.Reviewed 31 May 2016

Want to be charged for dog hair when you don't have a dog?Pros:It was cheap! I think I got what I paid for!Cons:Inconvenient location, car had a funky smell, interior had many stains. Was charged double the price of our rental to vacuum dog hair out of the car...no dog was ever in the car. The small amount that could have possibly been tracked in on clothing (visited a house with a dog) is not worth $50.Reviewed 5 Dec 2017
