|Top route||Dallas/Fort Worth to Dallas/Fort Worth|
|Top airport||Dallas/Fort Worth|
Pros: Friendly and prompt attendants.
Cons: I couldn't ask for anything more from American than what was provided
Cons: Notified better for the reason why the flight was cancelled.
Cons: Wait time for loading of crew and passengers.
Pros: Check-in started a bit late due to late arriving incoming flight but the crew at the gate as well as in the plane did their best to speed the process. Flight was smooth, lande ontime despite taking off nearly 20 minutes late. Captain kept us informed when, through no fault of American Airlines there was a delay at the gate. Overall well done in these trying times.
Cons: It will be nice when things are back to normal and actual food is served on flights of 4 or more hours duration.
Pros: Landed early in Austin, always nice.
Cons: For an over 3hr flight, no snacks for sale was surprising and disappointing. Wifi entertainment did not work on personal devices, either.
Pros: A very new Eagle plane. AA staff was good about updating us re: departure delays. Waited to inform us of gate valet plans until the last minute.
Cons: BTV Airport is very small so prepare to be in crowded waiting areas.
Cons: Foodservice and breverages
Pros: On time
Cons: I did not understand special with covid why half the plane was empty they keep us all together. Would have been nice to be able to spread out and have more room. Seats and leg room are small.
Cons: When I got to dallas there was no one there with a wheel chair to help me get to my next flight. Asked the counter person for information and she almost could not be bothered. After asking twice I notice a golf cart type of transportation for the handicap. Well it took me 1 1\2 to get to my connecting flight. 2 other people had missed there flight. I was disappointed in American Airlines that they could not be bothered to help or even answer a couple questions.
Pros: Delayed flight no reasons seems like American Airlines don’t know what to do in these situations
Cons: I believe this airlines should have figured the answer to this question by now.
Cons: Could have been on time also one bag carry on mean 1 not 1 plus a backpack the WiFi also wasn’t working properly
Pros: Lack of communication
Cons: Horrible customer service
Pros: It was comfortable
Cons: Everything was good
Pros: Great having every set have its own screen and charging port
Cons: Not to be an hour delayed and make half the plane miss their connections!
Pros: Everything was great. Fast flight
Pros: Everything was great.
Cons: I can’t believe I’m saying this but I don’t think anything else could have been improved
Cons: Both to and from austin were delayed several hours. Crew was rude to other passengers. Was not impressed by customer service.
Pros: Being a tall guy, I appreciated the extra legroom in first class.
Cons: The boarding in Burbank was chaotic and caused delays. Resulting in a longer delay to my final destination.
Pros: The crew was friendly. The boarding process was very efficient. On-time departure and arrival. Check in process and baggage handling were exceptional.
Cons: The flight was overbooked so every seat on the plane was taken. This made it very crowded and in the middle of the pandemic it made me uncomfortable.
Cons: The staff at the checkin proceeded to pretend to type in the keyboard until 7 min after our allowed checkin time- they refused to allow us to check in or board although at the airport 1.5 hrs early!
Pros: I missed flight. Rescheduled this morning 4229 when I went to bed. Today, there is no record of the flight. I have a screen print showing the seat assignment. The 1-800 said it will call back in 4 hours. Crap! Flight scheduled in two hours.
Pros: Bast trips!!
Cons: Evriting is good!!!
Pros: Good services
Cons: Great flight, ontime departure and early arrival. Bags were delivered within 15 minutes of Ariosto the gate.
Pros: It was a horrible experience
Cons: Everything could have been better especially the staff
Pros: It was a nightmare. The reps were confusing and giving different answers
Cons: Everything could have been better I spoke to 4-5 AA reps/staff, they were horrible. Need lots of training.
Pros: Comfort and organized
Cons: Entertainment, there was no tv
Cons: An on time flight
Founded way back in 1930, American Airlines is one of the oldest carriers in the world. Existing as part of the America Airlines Group and partnering with US Airways since 2013, it has contributed to recording the largest number of passengers carried and destinations served in a calendar year on multiple occasions. Flights are offered to more than 50 countries around the world and serviced by roughly 125,000 employees.
The airline has their headquarters in Fort Worth; however, it also has a further 9 hubs around the United States, including in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Miami. They also operate a maintenance hub in Tulsa, which has its work cut out with a massive fleet size. American Airlines mainly uses a mix of Airbus and Boeing planes. McDonnell Douglas, Bombardier and Embraer jets are also part of their fleet, with a range of 44 to 140 seats. The most common aircraft in operation is the Boeing 737-800 model.
A founding member of the oneworld alliance, the airline has codeshare agreements with international companies such as Qantas, British Airways, Korean Air and Japan Airlines, among others. The partnering relationship provides customers a greater range of round-the-world tickets and can lead to more efficient flight transfers. Some of the American Airlines’ fleet have been painted dark grey with oneworld branding.
Passengers can choose between Economy, Premium Economy, Business and First Class seating. All customers receive complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, while First Class provides the luxury of a personal pod onboard and access to dining at Flagship Lounges back on land.
