Staff did a good job maintaining a clean room but details were missed and items in the room are worn out. We had one ratty robe for two people and each morning one of our coffee mugs were cracked (one actually leaked out of the bottom). Only one elevator was functioning and the wonderful fresh flavored waters in the lobby were only offered from mid day to evening. The coffee in the room was substandard. I felt the amenities were not up to par for the price you are paying
The room service breakfast was pretty good. The room was very nice. The staff was amazing. The location was central near a lot of things but lots of homeless people and drug users. The hotel restaurant, Diva was pretty good. The bed was seriously comfortable slept great!
Only one elevator was working, the other was out of service and you had to wait forever. Nowhere in any description of the hotel did it say the hot tub was out of service, and we picked this hotel partly because of indoor pool and hot tub, so that was very frustrating. Made our stay less enjoyable. The price we paid wasn’t worth not having a hot tub or good working elevator. Also be careful of the mini bar snacks, the chips were old and stale. The staff did fix it so that was good but you’d think the food would be checked more often, especially at these prices.
I love this hotel! It’s my third visit and there is nothing I don’t like about it. Central location, super helpful friendly staff, clean, spacious washrooms, comfy bed, tasteful boutique design.
They were renovating one elevator.
The location was great and the art in the lobby was nice.
This hotel USED to be a 3 star but that was probably around 15 years ago. The technology is outdated, the jacuzzi was permanently sealed shut, the elevator was old and creaky (one of them out of order). Not really worth what I paid.
