The lady at the desk was brutal. I wanted to change my booking from three days to one day. She said she couldn’t do it. On top of that she insisted on charging me for three days insurance. There was no effort to work with me.Reviewed 21 Nov 2022

Pick up was chaotic with several cars untenable due to smoke smell. No one to help with pickup which resulted in having to take a larger size car and being told on exit that it would be more expensive. Car we choose was also only 1/2 full w gas. Drop off was totally different. The desk staff was very helpful and made sure we were not up-charged or charged for gas we didn’t use. Good customer service.Reviewed 14 Nov 2022

I reserved a 'standard' car. When I arrived they didn't have the car I reserved (basically didn't have any standard size car to give to me), and told me they could upgrade me to an SUV for an extra $20. This is horrible customer service- if they don't have the car I reserved, they should at least comp the upgrade. But what was even worse was that the "upgrade" SUV was something called a Nissan Kicks, which is not really an SUV at all and is actually much smaller than the car I had originally reserved. So ultimately I ended up paying more for a downgrade. Terrible experience.Reviewed 17 Oct 2022

The service itself was great. The insurance options provided during the checkout process suggest that their insurance is mandatory, which it is not.Reviewed 3 Oct 2022

I had a reservation to pick up a car at 2pm, and was told when i arrived at the rental counter (Promptly at 2pm) that I would need to wait at least 2 hours for the car that I had reserved 2 months ago. This forced me to Uber to my meeting that I had scheduled for 4pm.....Reviewed 18 Sep 2022

I booked through Kayak for a substantially lower price than any other rental company (I usually go directly through Enterprise.) When I get there they have a price that is almost $200 more! I had to show my conformation email and a manager had to get involved! Then they charge you a $500 hold if you use your debit/bank card or $200 if it's a reg credit card on top of the rental amount. I have never had Enterprise do that! We got in a bit earlier than expected and they also want to charge $150 per extra hour of use. Over all it waa a pretty frustrating experience and hard lesson learned. I will never rent through Thrifty again!Reviewed 11 Aug 2022

My search criteria was for approximately 30 hours but reservation was made for 24. The price nearly doubled for an additional 6 hours.Reviewed 19 Jul 2022

I rented a car at through priceline and made a $117 payment with $58 due at pick up. While I expected some fees, the total cost should have been around $173.70. Instead I paid $326.42. My final payments were $117 to priceline with the remainder to thrifty car rental. I opted in for thrifty to fill my tank at $67, but the final bill is still nutty and I had ONE crappy car to choose from after a 40 min wait at the airport to pick up.Reviewed 17 Jun 2022
