Employees arguing with each other. No cars were ready. 45min to check in with 4 people in line. First car smelled like human urine. 20min scramble to find another car. Staff does not really seem to want to help or interact with customers. Staff needed to be directed to check fuel on checkin. This location in particular is well known for charging refueling on full cars.Reviewed 31 Aug 2024

Initial Hertz rep didn't know what he was doing. Delayed our trip by 2 to 3 hours. Kayak, you have terrible customer service. There is no way to contact anyone. I will never EVER book anything through you ever again!!! Lesson learned by going through another party instead of just going directly through the actual company.Reviewed 28 Apr 2024

Ease of pick up and drop off. Please fill the tank with fuel. Not sure why I can't charge the rental company $10/ gallon when the tank isn't full but you an hit me if it's not full. It's not easy to return a vehicle the same when it's not full.Reviewed 12 Feb 2024

Extremely disappointing. Not very clear about picking up since there were three different areas at the airport to choose from. The agent at the first counter was rude and not helpful, and the other counter had a long line. It added a lot of additional time to go to a different area of the airport where the car actually was. The car pick up took about an additional hour. It was extremely frustrating to get ridiculous charges on the backend. The car was paid for, but additional fees were added on. Tax, auto facility charge, concession fee recovery etc. added it up to an additional $120! To me, this is padding. These charges should have been clear upfront. It was really infuriating. Definitely a deceptive practice to lure the consumer into thinking the fee they paid was the final price.Reviewed 3 Oct 2023

This was in the area where the vehicles were at the airport. The key fob needed a new battery. I was told to go get one and we will be reimbursed or I could pick a different vehicle. So I went to the counter to ask a question and because I wasn't a Gold Member, they turned around and walked away. So I got into the same vehicle and drove out. On our trip we had to find a store to replace the battery. Not a fan at all. Bringing the vehicle back, I couldn't get my money back, I had to get it back thru a voucher when we rent next time. The price is more competitive than others, but ...after we picked up the vehicle, we found The gas is only half filled, that is OK The tire warning sign was on, we checked with service desk, we were told that it was cold temperature and will be gone when warmed up, it it stayed on for all 10-day trip, luckily we checked the tire pressure and it was OK. After 1 day of driving, the engine coolant light was on, we had to stop at a gas station and found coolant level was below LOW limit. So we bought a jug of coolant and added to full line. The windshield wiper fluid was low and the wiper had grinding noise when used, we had to manually control to wipe only 1-2 times and turned it off. Luckily we finished our trip safely, last year they charged us $450 for lost item after return and we did not even know what was missing, no sure what to happen this time. Cons:Drop off was closed for months. I called to days before to make sure it us open and that was confirmed. Unbelievable. And now I have to spend time to get my money back for unlawfully Charging me for Hertz terrible service.Reviewed 17 Apr 2021
