|Top route||Lisbon Humberto Delgado to Funchal Madeira|
|Top airport||Lisbon Humberto Delgado|
Cons: Quality of your business seats leaves questions. I have never managed to find a comfortable rest on TAP business seats. May be good to compare with other major airlines.
Cons: A good team. They all made good efforts. Just fine
Pros: Worst customer service or actually non-existent, rude and ignorant agents. Will never fly with them again.
Cons: TAP should simply shutdown or do a major reform as the airline operates in the last century.
Pros: Food service was very good - and the crew kept going even after we hit turbulence. I'd already been served, but I know from past experience with other airlines that there's nothing worse than smelling the hot food and being told that service is being discontinued,,,,while you're now hungry
Cons: Lisbon airport was stressful, perhaps more guidance before releasing us into the melee. I found an Air Portugal email about Lisbon Airport just now
Pros: The crew was attentive but only on the basic standard service.
Cons: I truly love that there are very few travelers. Also, I went through a lot getting to have done a covid test in order to travel, no one asked for it! Also when filling the custom forms they could have been and explain that one paper form was enough for a whole family
Cons: The clarity about baggage fees, really unclear and very expensive.
Pros: The crew.
Cons: Fake marketing! They said it will be some snacks for economyXtra, and then 2 hours before the flight sending an email saying that the snakes will be charged! Disappointed!
Cons: I paid Xtraeconomy to have some snacks during the fly, and they end up coming with a trolley to pay! Disappointed!
Cons: The flight wasn't full but still had some people seated next to each other. Flights should allow for social distancing right now
Cons: Business class food is a disgrace. On the way to Lisbon they had at least some warm meal, skipped now and just got a box with bad, cold food. The crew was apologetic.
Pros: I couldn't take the fly. And no body answer! No by the phone, no body on the airport, no body on Facebook, I can't by the web. I need help and no body answer.
Cons: Pleace call 666 394 865
Pros: Seats are way more comfortable than other flight companies
Cons: Crew could have been more patient
Pros: The extra legroom in the Classic Package Seats.
Cons: The snacks where a little on the dull tasteless side.
Pros: I could not fly. No return ticket on march 23, 2020. Justfly.com did not help me
Cons: It is always better to buy tickets through the airline.
Cons: All seats are uncomfortable on all planes
Cons: Seats are very uncomfortable in all planes
Pros: Flight was on time. Seats were comfortable. Plenty of food was included in the flight. And service was good.
Cons: Greater weight allowance for carry-on luggage.
Pros: Great customer service!
Cons: I didn’t have time to make my second flight. This ruined our first day of vacation, completely. Not happy!!
Pros: Much more comfortable than I expected. Attentive flight attendants.
Cons: After flying cheapi airlines, norhing. It was a great experience.
Pros: The seats are comfortable.nice leg room.
Cons: Boarding on every airplane company seems off. Sitting in seat 6D and I’m in the second to last boarding group. That cheese on the burger pricing for getting on before others is getting old. Be better.
Pros: Nothing, Air Portugal is the worst I have ever experienced. Never fly Air Portugal, you have been warned.
Cons: A different airline
Cons: It was delayed on our way to destination. Also wish it was a direct flight to ponta delgado instead of going through lisbon. It was too much back and forth.
Pros: The on-board entertainment
Cons: More food, more water
Pros: Boarded fast
Cons: Hours of flight
Pros: Quick flight
Cons: Bad delay, long security line there
Pros: Smooth flight
Cons: More food, more water
Pros: Amazing crew
Cons: Food was ok. Seat was crowded. Everything else was excellent.
The primary hub for TAP Air Portugal is Lisbon, while their secondary hub is Portugal’s second biggest city, Porto. Recognized as the national airline of Portugal, the carrier helps service the picturesque Azores islands, which are halfway across the Atlantic Ocean. Flights are available to 34 countries across the world and reach Asia, South America, North America and Africa.
Considered to be the premier European airline for flights to Brazil, TAP Air Portugal reaches more destinations in the country than any other carrier. The World Travel Awards recognized it as the Best Airline to South America on a number of occasions, with the variety of choice and comfort a hit with passengers.
The airline’s fleet is made up exclusively of Airbus aircraft, having transitioned away from Boeing during the 1990s. In 2018 the airline was the first to fly the A330-900, a fuel-efficient jet that is capable of carrying up to 298 passengers. It was also the first airline to introduce Airspace by Airbus, a cabin layout overhaul that improves overhead storage, lighting and system connectivity.
You can choose between either Economy or Executive Class, with complimentary meals included on all services. The Executive category is equivalent to Business Class on other carriers, with gourmet traditional Portuguese cuisine available and recliner lie-flat seats. Other upgraded amenities include noise-cancelling headphones, softer lighting and 115V electricity sockets.
TAP Air Portugal has a low-cost subsidiary named TAP Express, which only operates short to medium distance flights. They are both part of the Star Alliance, which operates services to roughly 193 countries.
