Pros: The staff was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a really nice environment.

Pros: Gorgeous room, fully updated (and apparently recently renovated). Therefore, great value for the price. Breakfast was outstanding, and the staff who attended it were very patient (despite some obnoxious guests -- sadly, a few of my fellow countrymen). And the terrace: well, even in overcast weather like the kind that we had, it was just amazing. A view of the Tuscan hills to die for! We could have spent our entire visit to Sienna just lounging there! :)

Pros: The Palazzo Ravizza is possibly the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The location is perfect, right in the centre of Siena, and the hotel is really well cared for. Our room was clean and beautifully decorated but still quirky, with beautiful wooden furniture. The staff were so helpful and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. I'd certainly return.

Pros: We loved the hotel for its decor, location, good size bathroom, friendly staff, breakfast choices, off street secure parking (at a cost of €10 per night) and our room had a balcony with table and chairs, so a bonus (weather permitting). Our room also had a kettle so we were able to make a cuppa. The hotel with breakfast option was good value for money and we would stay here again and would definitely recommend this hotel. There are obviously hotels closer but the walk into the centre was approx 15 - 20 minutes at a leisurely, comfortable pace so no issues. You should not be disappointed with the Hotel Italia.

Pros: The price and great reviews attracted us to Hotel Italia, but the accommodations, service, and breakfast have us planning our next trip!!! The dining recommendation was a hit! The beds were comfortable and the quadruple room was perfect for our family. Breakfast was delicious and so many wonderful choices. The coffee and tea were a hit!

Pros: The old building was an interesting experience
Cons: The breakfast could have more choices
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is fine, Siena is a small town so wherever your hotel is it won't be too far away from the Piazza. There are heaters and AC in the room, although I didn't try the heater and I couldn't find the controller for the AC. Staffs are friendly and capable of communicating with English. They will also give you a map when you arrived. Breakfast available.
Cons: Not sound-proof. This one really let me down...the wall is not sound-proof and I can hear people next room chatting and laughing, and it can be annoying when you try to sleep while they are still talking. The bathroom is a bit small (see the photo), there is no barrier for showers on the floor, the water just goes into the hole on the floor. Breakfast was provided but only limited options. This might be an option if you are looking for a budget hotel or try to save money, but if you are willing to spend a bit more money, looking for other hotels won't be a bad choice.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Really well located, close to all the main sights. Excellent breakfast choices including a separate GF section, great for us coeliacs.
Cons:
8.8 Excellent
Pros: So central, easy walking to everything
Cons: Just as bit tired. Needs a bit of carpet cleaning.
5.6 Okay
Pros: Views from our room were amazing
Cons: We thought this would be our splurge hotel on our European vacation, but this was one of the more run down places we visited. The decor is dated (unpainted wood furniture and trim) and the shower was just a shower head on the bathroom wall with a shower curtain wrapped around it. The water from the shower got all over the bathroom floor making using the sink or toilet a messy adventure. We were quite disappointed with the overall value of this hotel.. although the location makes up for some of it.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The view, the atmosphere, the location was great. Staff was very helpful and always friendly. All attraction were within walking distance. The hotel had real charm with the ambiance of a historic building.
Cons: Bed was a little hard

Pros: Location and facilities were great. It is located right at the heart of the historical center. Communication was easy and satisfactory previous to arrival.
Cons: As we were gonna check out before breakfast time started, the receptionist offered us a take way breakfast the night before. Even though we talked to him TWICE about the time we would need the breakfast bag ready to go, when we left, the next day, the other attending receptionist said there were no bags prepared and he didn't show the slightest will to make amendments, like getting us some fruit or something. He didn't even apologize. After I asked, he got us 8 small cookies.

Not quite so good: The breakfast was limited, with no hot food. But the coffee was freshly made and very good. There were no Tea/Coffee facilities in the room and no bar or restaurant in the Hotel. Cons: The room was very warm at night (25C/77F) and the hotel had turned the a/c off for the season, so we had to open the window which meant we heard all the noise from the street and buses (the hotel is right in front of the major bus hub for the town).

Pros: The restaurant on the site was great with excellent quality and value for money menu. Many local people came to eat at this restaurant. There was a choice of genuine Italian cooking on the menu. The wine list was good with good range of Italian wines including excellent organic ones. The site shop was very well stocked and the advice from the owners and was helpful and friendly. Our limited knowledge of Italian and attempts to speak it were met with patience and good humour. It was simplicity itself to get into Siena from the site as there were bus tickets readily on sale at the site and the bus stop was just a short walk away.

Pros: We really enjoyed the location of the campground and the fresh air: a green oasis that is still close to the city center of Siena. The mobile home we rented was comfortable and clean, and our stay was relaxing. We also appreciated the heaters in each room, which made our stay at the campground comfortable compared to B&Bs and other places that don't have their heating switched on at the end of October. The kitchen in our mobile home had everything we needed.

Cons: Very noisy environment. Unfortunately, during our stay, the roof was reconstructed. In front of our window was the machine and very noisy workers. I kindly asked the receptionist for an another room. The situation was a little better, but the noise was from 7am and spoil our whole holiday in very romantic Siena:-( Before our leaving I showed regret that the hotel didn't inform guests about the reconstruction in advance to give a chance book another hotel or offer a discount for discomfort. But the receptionist was very uncomfortable and I was reminded that they moved us to another room and what I want more. It was a big disappointment for us :-(

The breakfast was wonderful, and the proximity to the Siena historical center was a dream (we did have a car, but I think we could also have walked). It had everything we wanted, including free in-room internet and a place to deposit our car. We would absolutely stay again and will recommend it.
Cons: nothing at all

6.4 Good
Pros: the cleanliness of the room and the huge ground for a walk..
Cons: very inconvenient to go into town if you do not have a car with you.. Note: i couldn't undo the no for the below question - would i recommend this hotel..i feel it all depends on the individual..for me it was the inconvenience of getting into the campos area..other than that the hotel was a good place for relaxing...very quiet and nice
6.4 Good
Pros: Parking no problem - unlike much of Siena! Excellent varied breakfasts.
Cons: We had difficulty finding the hotel - signposting poor - complex junction off busy roads. We would have welcomed a more detailed explanation of the evening dining arrangements
