While located within a busy area, the rooms were very quiet with plenty of storage space.
Cons: Our only complaint, though a minor one, is that the breakfast set-up could've been designed better. Unfortunately, they put the hot food entrees, (pre-cooked eggs, sausages, bacon, etc...) alongside the line to order at the eggs station. So, many were standing in line thinking that it was the line for the hot breakfast items, not realizing until they got up there that people were in line for made to order eggs only.

Pros: We stayed at the property for 2 nights. The location of the hotel was very nice. It’s surrounded by good restaurants and the area has a good vibe to it. The hotel staff is extremely courteous and they take good care of you. The rooms are fresh and clean. All in all a great stay and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Salzburg.

Pros: Stadtkrug is in a great location on a quite pedestrian lane in Salzburg. Only steps to outdoor cafe's and shops as well as Mirabell Palace and garden and the river. Desk staff was quite helpful including warming up our leftover pizza from another restaurant and seating us near the window. We enjoyed the outdoor rooftop dinner of beef stroganoff and spätzle. Room was clean but small and modern.

In less han 48 hours of stay this hotel managed to show me the worst overall experience a hotel can offer, and with a very warm room and an Ac not properly cooling i spent 2 sleepless nights there. For booking a premium junior suite room, not only did we not get a premium service we recieved a service not worthy of a 2 star hotel and that was even after we raised the complaint to the Hotel Manager expecting he would handle the situation, but also done poorly and except for a small sorry over the phone he didnt even think to present himself to us to offer a face to face apology! Terrible hotelier skills of the staff. Not recommended and to be avoided.

The staff very super friendly and helped us lined up tours, which we purchased from the front desk along with Salzburg cards. They gave us maps, directions and explained how to use the public transportation system, which we found to be very convenient and easy to use. Also, they thought of everything you could possibly need in a hotel room, with lots of nice extras such a sewing kit which I actually ended up using since I forgot that from home, plus also nail files, and a safe to lock up valuables. The room was spacious and super comfy too. The breakfast was enjoyable with lots of fresh bread, fruit and more, and they even served breakfast late into the morning, so one morning we slept in and ate a late breakfast, which was nice after a couple of busy days of sightseeing.

Cons: The train station is probably the dirtiest roughest part of town. Both good and bad to be close by. Old town is accessible but a pretty good walk. Maybe walk there and cab back unless you really want to get your steps in for the day. Room was super compact. Functional yes but very small. Bathroom especially shower very limited space. As long as you are just there to sleep the room is fine but definitely not a space to sit and relax. Pricing may be competitive for Salzburg but we were in Hilton Munich on 7th floor with balcony and city view for 75€ less per night.

Good value for money though. I was quit annoyed with the fact that there were two of us right from the beginning of the booking, but yet one sachet of coffee in the room and after our first makeup of the room by housekeeping, replenished with one sachet again... Surely H+ can do better for the price?

Cons: The room was at best very basic with none of the facilities generally seen in a hotel room. Managed to flood the bathroom floor everyday using the shower. There was no air conditioning so the only ventilation was to open a window onto a very busy and noisy road for most of the night and early morning.The hotel corridor was stark with a tiled floor which amplified the sounds of other guests and in turn us to other guests.

Cons: This hotel is SO NOISY. The street outside turned into party central early evening and raged until morning. That’s one thing when you can keep your Windows shut but when it’s 30+ C, you can’t lead you suffocate. This hotels solution to cooling the room in sweltering heat was a tiny desk fan (10cm, seriously). Too hot and too noisy to sleep. Never again and I honestly think they owe us some credit back for the misery and lack of notice on the situation.

Cons: The parking is paid, costs 13 Euros. Was quite unexpected at the moment of check-out, and nobody warned us at the check-in it's paid. At some point, our kid got stuck inside the automatic rotating door and we had to "save" him manually forcing to press the button inside.

Cons: First day aircondition was not working and the left us sleeping without ac and the changed my room next day after lots of reminders to the staff.and explainng that ac is not working. Some staff was good and some was not good as I was there for 3 days.

Cons: The hotel is comfortable although a little basic. The glass doors on the tubs are not water tight and leak on to the bathroom floor, which is a bit annoying and potentially slippery. All they need is to add a rubber joint and all would be well. Breakfast buffet is very good. Carpeting in the hallways is tired. There is not quite enough parking in the hotel lot but there is a garage a few minutes away by foot, which is acceptable if not optimal.

Cons: The buses are a bit confusing and this hotel is not walkable distance from the train station. The room itself was nearly perfect. The only thing I think could be improved would be to add USB outlets as this is very handy for international guests. I wish I could have stayed all 3 nights at this hotel while I was in Salzburg, but the rates move around dramatically from night to night. This seems common. I saved about €100 by staying in a different hotel each night of my stay in Salzburg.
