Overall, it was great
I liked where the hotel was, we could easily reach attractions in just some minutes.
I missed the vegan/vegetarian food. There weren’t many vegetables or fruits as well.
The location of the hotel is excellent. Just a 10 minute walk to the plaza and the fortress. The breakfast is also very good, with a nice selection of American food - eggs and bacon, as well as meats and cheese. There is a small bar area in the lobby as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The rooms are very basic. More like a Hostel than a hotel. No carpet, hard wooden chairs, small table and a couch/bed. (We had a family size room which sleeps 5). A non-family room is much smaller. The bathroom is also very small, but functional. The Wi-Fi is only in the lobby, so no connection in the rooms. Very annoying when you are trying to plan your day. If you don't mind basic accommodations this place if fine, but for a family vacation, I expected more. The price I paid was almost the same as I paid for a 3 star hotel in Innsbruck - not sure this was a good value.
Superclean, excellent breakfast
Hard to find. Insufficient information about how to get there by public transportation.
Close to Old Town of Salzburg, nice and clean, eatery downstairs working till evening, spacious lobby with couches, playroom for kids.
It's more of a youth hostel of course, we heard some young guests wondering around and chatting aloud in the middle of the night. Also, check-in area definitely needs more staff, queues are a sad reality.
no wifi in room!
Clean with nice cafeteria. Free internet a plus in lobby.
liked the location
we had to wait during the check in as they forgot to prepare a thrid bed for us.
Close to town and transport, yet out of the way and not noisy.
New rooms, very clean, good breakfast, 10min from the old city.
No soap in the rooms
it is very close to city centre
instead of a double bed room we received a kids room with a bunk bed containing 3 small beds
The cleanliness, the breakfast was great. It was close to the center.
