Cons: The hotel is right in front of where the cruise ships dock which completely blocks your view of the river. Also the river front room was very noisy due to street traffic. The staff was nice but not helpful in solving our problem.

Cons: The bed was not comfortable. The mattress was too soft and not supportive. The linens were fine and the pillows comfortable. For breakfast small trays would be a big help to obviate the need to keep going back to the buffet.

Adjoining the hotel was a restaurant with great food including breakfast (which was included with our room) and a full bar. This was a very enjoyable stay.

Cons: Our room-included breakfast was not available until 8:00. Due to the late time breakfast was served, we could not avail ourselves of the amenity that was included with our room. There were a number of electronic devices in our room, which was nice, but it made operating the TV much more complicated.

Cons: Very tiny room... View from the window is awful... Air conditioning system is terrible: when it’s switched on it’s very noisy and you can’t sleep with such sound, but when you switch it off, the temperature in the room become 11.5 C in nearly 30 minutes... pls see picture in the attachment... So you should decide what to do listen to the noise or freeze... I think that’s not 5 star service! And this doesn’t worth the money we paid!

Cons: The pool and sauna were not functioning due to maintenance for the week we stayed there. Both of these are one of the reasons we chose this hotel. We were not notified of this prior to check in. Also, the hot tubs were not hot one of the nights and also crammed full of school kids making them very difficult to access.

Cons: From the beginning I was disappointed...10 days before checking in they let us know about the pool closing,no more executive floor services. What they gave us was far below the standard of a hotel with their name...the room was not a king as promised, had a very bad smell underneath the armchair and the housekeeping was all over. No bathfloor towel, no water..the maid pretending not to speak English. The US dollars are good for tips and payments..but the English language it's not welcome in Quebec City. We visit Canada since 2003..and it's getting worse... It's a shame. Their attitude it's not good for the business.

After checking out on the last day, we had some time before we had to leave for home and wanted to take a walk on the plains nearby. But we did not want to carry our bags around with us. The hotel offered to keep our bags safely free of charge so that was very convenient too!

After checking out on the last day, we had some time before we had to leave for home and wanted to take a walk on the plains nearby. But we did not want to carry our bags around with us. Cons: The hotel did not provide hotel slippers or bathrobes. Most hotels, especially the ones with a pool or a sauna or hot tub, provide these basic amenities but these were missing at Concorde. Upon requesting for these items, the hotel was able to provide the bathrobes but they did not have any room/hotel slippers to provide. Secondly, the heat in the room was set on blast. We had gone just before Christmas so we definitely needed the heat in the room but it got extremely hot sometimes, especially at nights. We had also taken the 90-min massage service which was not the best as the masseuse was in a bit of a rush. The massage service is provided by an external group so this was not the hotel's fault.

Cons: The room was pretty cold, we started the heater (which was really dirty without any sign of recent maintenance) that took a while to get warm on its max. The bathroom was very old and also without any sign of maintenance. In general the whole hotel is pretty old, the room furniture presented lots of usage signs, again, without maintenance. During our stay, we were surprised by a customer that was almost able to enter in our room because the personnel gave them the same room. That was very disturbing and unsafe. The extra amount they put in my credit card was not removed in the moment of the check-out. I asked to do that and they sad that was against their protocols. Besides the spot (near by the old quebec), the hotel was less than average for me.

Cons: Some of the furniture a little tired- specifically worn easy chairs, but seem left there because they complement design. Could use reupholstering, and pool was nice to have but water was a bit cloudy, and walk to dressing room chilly and used as a storage room. It was nice to have on a rainy day, but not super. Also, water a bit deep for kids, so combined with cloudiness, I was in particular alert.

Pros: Location, large comfy room , shower was tiny ! Made me laugh, staff was fine .
Cons: Make the shower in room 130 larger !

Pros: I like the location, on a quiet street but close to everything. The old building is very interesting and unique and offers interesting rooms, however there was no enough heating in our room (it got really cold in January), but we were offered another room, more upscale, which was warm and very comfortable.
Cons: I think the stuff could be slightly more happy and welcoming.

Pros:
Cons: Room was not in hotel I reserved. Room was noisy, cramped poorly laid out. It was not in the hotel I reserved and paid for and I was told when I checked in to go down the street, up an alley and into another hotel with a shabby, noisy room. After one night I left and hotel refused to refund my prepaid second night.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: We liked the comfortable bed, the air conditioning, the privacy of the hermitage hotel which is linked to the Acadia, the friendly staff, and that a solid relatively inexpensive breakfast buffet was offered as an option at a restaurant 30 seconds away.
Cons: The linen could have been cleaner but otherwise everything was great! Thanks
