Beautiful hotel, relaxing atmosphere, friendly sta
The lobby and guest room were modern and beautiful. The staff was especially welcoming and warm. The lobby was decorated with contemporary comfortable sofas, open spaces with burning candles, wine bar, Nespresso coffee machines, wood and stone walls. The well-designed shower, bath and guest room were spacious and tastefully decorated. The room had a Nespresso machine, which I enjoyed. Additionally, our room had huge windows with a beautiful view. Adjoining the hotel was a restaurant with great food including breakfast (which was included with our room) and a full bar. This was a very enjoyable stay.
Our room-included breakfast was not available until 8:00. Due to the late time breakfast was served, we could not avail ourselves of the amenity that was included with our room. There were a number of electronic devices in our room, which was nice, but it made operating the TV much more complicated.
Bikes! No car needed. Walking distance to everything including Ferry and train station The staff, especially Antoine the bellman and Maxime the concierge
That we only spent 3 nights.
Although in my opinion the very high ratings of this hotel are overrated, I liked the location, accessibility, view, cleanness, friendly and understanding manager, modern bathroom design.
Hotel stuff mixed up the reservation (wrong room type was provided). There was no kitchenette and, thus, no fridge, plates or cutlery. Some standard bath items were missing.
location and design
breakfast is not included the price and the breakfast is not worth paying at all.
Good sized rooms and very well appointed. Staff are helpful and location is great with lots of restaurants nearby.
Strictly speaking not a problem of the hotel itself, but on-street parking is very difficult to find. Make sure you book a spot in the hotel car park ($20/day), or be prepared to walk!
We were on the 6th floor and had a great view of the port and the streets down below. Love the knew decor of your new restaurant"Matto", unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to dine there, maybe next visit.
The breakfast wasn't that great, but it was included.
Very interesting design of the building and the rooms. Environment friendly. Very calm.
Having to get out of bed to switch on/off the light
The staff are friendly and efficient. The rooms are attractive, clean and comfortable. Appreciated the availability of free coffee at all times. We would certainly return and recommend the hotel to our friends.
No where to hang bath towels to dry - would have liked to re-use towels. Poor organization at breakfast no fruit/cereal bowls, shortage of cutlery. Constantly running out of coffee. Cold croissants for two breakfasts - unpleasant. Warm for the third day and edible. We were always in for breakfast by 8.30 a.m.
Good location in a great city
We picked this hotel base on it's high reviews and we were really satisfy. The hotel is just in the heart of everything. Just like couple blocks from the lower town, old port and only a short climb to the upper town. The staff were all very friendly, we will definitely go back again.
Great staff and location to localsites in the Old Town. Complimentary internet in the room and cappuccino all day gratis.Very good continental breakfast included in the room.
The hotel staff was excellent and made you feel very welcome! Very attentive to any requests! We loved the 24 hr coffee bar!
The breakfast area did not have enough tables and often we had to wait for a table before we could sit down and eat.
