Location could have been better Rooms could use updating
EVERYTHING IS SMALL. Small rooms, small elevators. Just Small. Clean but Small
This hotel is good location
It was near majority of my attractions!! Subway was nearby!!
Great location, ok hotel
It's located close to Penn Station and subway lines, between 6th and 7th Avenues, and an easy walk to Times Square.
The hotel is wedged into the middle of a busy block. There are only 2 elevators which have to be shared among guests and employees trying to clean the rooms. Going up and down at peak periods requires a lot of patience. As well, the room is very small (though likely ok by New York standards). With two of us and suitcases, it was a very tight squeeze around the room. The A/C fan blows freezing cold air, while under the blankets, you sweat.
Great service. Luggage service is organized. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Location was perfect. Warm chocolate chip cookies!
I booked this hotel because of its location.
The hotel did not have the room I was upgraded to. The hallways and the room offered to me looked well used and not particularly clean. And, there were no hot water at the hotel. I decided against staying in and moved to a different hotel.
Hotel near MSG in NYC
1, value for money 2. location 3. quiet by NY standards 4. Gym 5. free WI-FI 6. coffee machine in room 7. safe in room
1. no complimentary water bottle (this should cost the hotel no more than $0.20 / bottle) 2. I am a Hilton's Rewards member, but because I booked through Kayak, I did not get credited by Hilton for my points for the stay. Also, I normally would get high speed internet through my Hilton's Rewards, but that too, was not available. I find the above two items annoying for a frequent traveler & petty on Hilton's part. With the plethora of hotel options in NYC, it is just too time consuming not to use a "hotel search engine".
Great weekend stay
Sometimes a wait for elevators but not a big deal
Convenient location, walking distance from Penn St
Location and staff
Space. Felt packed. But understand for this location.
Everything was great
Staff was excellent. Bar was golden after we got to the hotel from both exploring and enyoing the city. Concierge was great! Plenty of places around to eat including the hotel. Nice view with a glimpse of the Empire from our room.
Rooms were clean, a little cramped, but its NYC. The staff (maids) tends to be forgetful about simple items like toilet paper or anything to stir coffee with! Location its a mix, depending on the line needed. Sometimes we went to 34th ST in order to get some other line.
The staff was very good! I had a few questions and requests and they were all taken care of either from the reception or the service line.
I think breakfast could have been included in the price.
The free cookies were great, but not something I would go out of the way to choose - a hotel room just for free cookies. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Liked the front door curbside plaza with chairs and tables.
Lobby was small and crowded at times... But then it is New York City and space is always a premium.
Excellent service, always attentive staff. Very clean rooms.
Friendly and attentive staff. Very clean room. Excelente location near Fifth Av/34th St and two subway stations.
The elevators (two) are insufficient at peak times or fully booked times. Although internet is only 10$ per 24 h, I think it could be included in room rate.
Cookies, Soap, shampoo and hair conditioners. Bedding was also very good. Very clean and comfort room. It's a really good place to take a rest.
TV did not work properly. Not free wifi. No slippers are provided.
Staff awesome and great warm cookies, everything else was average.
Parking 2 blocks away at discounted rate. (Not very freindly) If you need to stay in chelsea great, tougher to grab cab or catch subway. Room size was the size of most bathrooms. Tight we had 2 adults 2 teens could barely move in room to get into bed!
Great location, clean hotel, and inexpensive.
Service was slow. We ordered towels and called twice for them a couple hours later and never received them until the next day when the maid came. Other than that everything else was great.
We left our room at 11:30 AM and removed the "Don't disturb" sign, nevertheless the room was not cleaned when we came back and we had to ask for clean towels and refills. I think it is very excessive to charge twice a couple for the internet connexion if they have 2 laptops, one connexion should be valid for both.
comfortable beds, quiet, close to subway friendly staff new hotel and very clean
room was often not made up when we returned to room by 5pm once notified staff rectified this
Was in a good location walking distance to everything.
The room was way too cramped, no room for suitcase had to put it on the spare bed.
