Welcoming team and hugely supportive of even the smallest request. Lovely atmosphere and great general spaces. very comfortable bed and pillows. Would definitely stay again.
Rooms are quite small and no fridge but location makes it workable - lots of options.
The breakfast was amazing!
Staff was great to work with!
The location is great, round the corner from a lot of activity and sight seeing - only 30mins walk from Time Square, so we cut down a lot of costs because we could walk to lots of places.
The rooms are tiny, a double room is definitely ok for 2 people, but we had 3 and it was really tight with luggage. Also could so do with a GYM!!
The hotel is an a fabulous location, away from Times Square enough to enjoy the neighbourhood but can quickly get in to 34th Street in 10 mins. Subway very accessible to most places of interest. The staff are LOVELY and can’t do enough for you. The rooftop bar is very cool and has some fab events on from Thursdays and during the weekend. Our first room was too small for two people who were staying for 7 days so the staff moved us for 4 nights to a lovely creative suite which we were happy about as it had more room for our suitcases. There were still a few issues which I’ll write about below. We usually went to the local deli’s for breakfast, coffees and lunches as they are value for money. The hotel is very pricey. This also put us off going to the rooftop bar often as one drink is $16++ Which soon adds up. One night though I was served a complimentary cocktail which I was delighted about! This hotel is perfect for a few nights, if you have a small bag or suitcase and you are not someone who needs to put on make up or do your hair every day! Free WiFi is a bonus.
The first day I got coffees which were cold, when I asked for hot ones the lady serving was not happy...we never bought any more from there. The rooms are very über cool but in-practical for someone like me. The lighting by the mirrors is awful! The second room we got I had to squash against the wall to see in the weird side mirror. The full length mirror is in the dark, no lights nearby. I wear make up and wash and dry my hair daily...it was a pain. My male friend said it was ok for him. There is NO ROOM to put your clothes away, you get 3 wire hangers to prop your stuff on copper pipes. The first room had a drawer under the bed, the second had no storage at all...luckily is brought a few hangers and staff gave me 3 more... The second room had a lovely looking bath tub and rain shower with pull out shower hose too. For goodness sake make sure you know what lever does what as you could spray yourself! When you get in the bath, the click clack plug opens with your bottom when you move. The shower curtain is too long and slippery when inside and floods the bathroom when outside....hmmmmm. Shame really. I think they should have dummy runs or try outs beforehand with a variety of people. So if you are a glamour person who likes to wear make up, style your hair and don’t travel light, this isn’t for you. If you are a free and easy, wash and go character, it’s perfect! Ps I don’t know why my photos have uploaded sideways?? Sorry!
