They charged me for a full recharge of the EV at pickup; however, the car was almost on empty when I picked it up. There were no instructions provided for recharging the EV. The representative was rude at the counter. I asked to get a different vehicle, but the guy insisted another car would cost $75/ day more. Overall, it was a terrible experience and I will never use Hertz or Kayak again.Reviewed 2 Feb 2025

I had to wait in line to pick up my car for 75 minutes! Due to this, this was by far my worst experience ever renting from hertz. The person at the desk who helped me was excellent, however. Whatever led to the delay needs to be addressed. It was far below my expectations based on my previous experience renting from Hertz.Reviewed 6 Aug 2024

Hertz moved offices but didn't update me (or the seven other hertz customers who went to the same old address the same day). Hertz gave away my car and then charged me more for an upgrade as my only option. Enterprise across the street from the old Hertz address was kind to give me a free ride to the new Hertz address. I'll def go Enterprise next time no matter the extra cost. Relatability matters!Reviewed 23 Oct 2022

GEORGE THE MANAGER located on Burnet Ave in Syracuse cancelled my reservation after I said I need a van to travel to Florida. He said he could get me something similar, such as an 8 passenger SUV.. I told him that this would not work because we are relocating to Florida. I said cancel the SUV and George cancelled the entire reservation. I was so pissed off that used some expletive's toward George at the end of our conversation but nevertheless he could have tried to help me right from the beginning, as a opposed to being indifferent and a care less attitude. So in the end your company lost out on a one way van rental to Naples Florida in the approximate amount of 674.00. Furthermore now that I am retired and can afford to travel, I will never do business with hertz againReviewed 3 Nov 2021
