They overcharged me more than the rental agreement on pickup. And then charged me an exorbitant amount (550 USD) at the end of the trip for half a tank of gas and a couple kilometres on a roll route.Reviewed 11 Sept 2026

Ling wait time to pick up a car. >60 mins. No seating in waiting area because it was overcrowded. I really wonder what the whole Presidents Circle experience is about. I’ve never experience it.Reviewed 11 Sept 2026

Everything was great, it’s just a shame that rental cars have become so exorbitantly expensive. The check-in and return process was seamless, the Hertz employees were friendly and competent, and my Jeep was great.Reviewed 10 Sept 2026

The customer service by phone was not helpful and, in fact, frustrating. It was like dealing with a robot. However, the on the ground agents in Albuquerque were very helpful and friendly.Reviewed 8 Sept 2026

Our experience with hertz was excellent. We landed in Gatwick and walked to Hertz from the airport which was not very far. The car was ready and we had an upgrade to an automatic and I think the car was a bit bigger too. So all in all we are very happy with our experience. The car was very economical it was a Toyota four door CR hybrid. Thank you kayak for organising this, can’t fault anything. Drop-off was very smooth, we arrived half an hour before we had to drop it off someone was there immediately to assess it and we were told there was zero problems so no extra charges. Wonderful service all in all.Reviewed 8 Sept 2026

Better email communication/explanation about the $200 charge or hold put on my card at the time I picked it up. I am assuming it was a hold, but I don't know as nothing was explained.Reviewed 7 Sept 2026

there were no cars available., 2 clerks spent their time with one customer on questions one could have handled. we were ignored, and we were the only other ones in there. After 20 minutes one said "be with you in a minute" - we were all within 3 feet of each other. finally one asked what we wanted, we said we had a 10:30 reservation, then they said there were no cars. we again explained we had a reservation for a 10:30a pick up. They said people were extending their times and they'd put us on a waiting list but would probably be 4;30 at the earliest. There were cars in the lot. they said they weren't available. They did not offer to help us find anything anywhere else. Had a "too bad - nothing we can do" attitude. kept looking at their phones and computers. Then at 11:30 left, with us still inside on our own trying to find another car rental place with availability, they left. They shad our contact info and should have let us know in advance there would be no cars available. We had taken public transportation to get there as neither of us had a car. We ended up renting from Enterprise. I will never use Hertz again and am skeptical about using Kayak again for car rentals. You should have a policy that the rental companies you offer are required to notify customers if there will be a delay in obtaining their rental vehicle. We wasted over 2 hours trying to rent a car and missed our appointment for which we needed the car. Very poor experience.Reviewed 2 Sept 2026
