Cons: For those expecting massively large reception hall, this is not it. It is a boutique hotel, but what a hotel this is.

Cons: The rooms were what I would expect for a hotel of this calipher. However, common areas such as the lobby were small and became crowded with guests checking in and out. I was disapointed with the level of service from the staff. I had a maid wake me up on a Saturday morning before 8 AM wanting to clean my room. I wasn't even checking out that day. It took a number of staff levels and a fair amount of my time to get that situation resolved to my satifaction.

Pros: This hotel is so special. The exterior is just classically elegant, and the inside is beautifully and tastefully appointed. Staff are courteous and professional. Loved the availability of valet parking! Very plush, comfortable room with an excellent bed and a large soaking tub. Turn-down service was a nice surprise. Well-stocked mini bar. Excellent breakfast. Also enjoyed the cocktail lounge. Thank you so much for an exceptional stay!

Pros: Amazing hotel close to to the shopping area and the Romer. Rooms were were well furnished and the staff was excellent. I accidentally left my glasses at the hotel, and they even shipped them to another German hotel free of charge (the hotel offered to shipped to our house in the US, but we wa tee them so I er so they had no issue shipping the to our hotel in Rothenburg).

What I don’t understand & disappointed was how they couldn’t expedite the cleaning & checking me in (like they did for other guests) when they knew I was waiting since 7am. I saw quite a number of guests checking out & in & I was only given my room at 1pm. They even suggested I took a smaller room if I didn’t want to wait. Very disappointed & will not return for sure. Hv always thought Westin groups are top notch hotels but I was wrong. Bathroom was a bit old too.

Cons: This hotel is not a 5 star hotel! Neither from the German Hotel Associations' (DEHOGA) criteria nor by my subjective feeling. First view: parking is in the backyard, passing by garbage and dirt. No valet service (DEHOGA 5 star criteria), no porter, no bellboy (also 5 star criteria). Dirty store front (because of the main traffic street). Very small lobby, small welcome desk with one person at the time I arrived. The ceiling in the lobby and the restaurant is dirty. Nearly black where the A/C blows out air. Some investment must be done (DEHOGA 5 star criteria). Arriving in the room: nor personalized greeting, no present, no bathrobe (DEHOGA 5 star criteria). It's an open bath, not a separate room. The shower is in the room with glass walls. 1 meter from the bed. So if you travel with a friend where you want some privacy this doesn't work. Breakfast is ok, no hand made cappuccino but good selection of cold cuts, eggs, cheese, fruit. However, the dirty ceiling is unacceptable. With all courtesy I would give this hotel 4 stars. I usually stay in the Fleming's Selection Hotel Frankfurt-City. Also 5 stars from the same chain. This is way more 5 stars. Much better. But if one and the same chain has such different quality criteria I have to re consider.

Cons: Very very loud live and background music at the bar which is actually functioning as the hotel lobby, and place for a light meal at night. No way to escape it even after 23.00. Our room was overlooking a building site which start making a lot of noise at 08.00 in the morning, no body told us about it, and it was very disturbing. If we knew we wouldn’t have taken the room, as we arrived late evening we couldn’t know about it.

Cons: Surrounded by construction and construction-related smells and noises. Rude, unprofessional, unhelpful staff. Exorbitant prices for everything (a bottle of water costs 9 euros). Poor lights in the rooms. Alleged "views" from high floors overlooking construction sites. Poor quality breakfast. Tiny slippers in the room. Subpar cleanliness (toilet bowl in the room was not flushed when I checked in). I could go on, but you get the idea. All this for almost $400, which would get you a 5-star hotel in London and Paris, possibly in Manhattan as well (and Frankfurt ain't no London or New York city).

Cons: When you arrive and enter the building there is no clear navigation to the hotel itself which is on the 22d floor and up. If you arrive a bit before check in time there is no bar or lounge where you can have a cup of coffee or water. There is a cafe on the ground floor of the building but in my case the staff at the reception didn’t advise to go there or offered to leave the luggage so that I could walk around while waiting for the room to be ready. Room cleaning is quite late and slow. There’s definitely not enough lights in the room. Though the Melia chain is well known and has a good reputation there was a feeling that this particular hotel is a bit under it’s overall high level.

Cons: The staff kept hounding me for my "voucher." I explained that I booked through Kayak and there was no voucher. I showed them my receipt, emailed them the receipt twice and printed the receipt out and gave it to Laura on the second night of the stay. Then, when I check out, they ask me for the voucher again! I get back to the U.S. and get an email from them...wanting the voucher. I expect that they'll charge me twice for the room and I'll have to do a charge back through my credit card. The beds are not fit for human consumption. P.S. a "double" room does not mean two beds - it means that you get a room that does not have the toilet and shower completely open!? They charged us 40 euro/night for a roll-away.

Cons: The room is not that big, i would rate it 4*. Only soap and shampoo. Not an advantage that the toilet has no window.

Cons: Not suitable to share room with friends as the totality glass shower is in the middle of the room and I got a shock. Sink in the room too not in with the toilet which thankfully is private. At breakfast we asked for toast 3 times which never came and on the second day our toast was really just warm bread and very hard all round the edges, we couldn’t eat it.

It is easy to find from the train station, and it is easy to walk everywhere that was needed (or to the metro to go further afield). Their breakfast was also fantastic! Available until noon, and all you can eat, I regularly spent my mornings relaxing and enjoying the common area. My private room was very comfortable. Security is good.

Cons: Die Dame die uns eincheckte war nicht freundlich. Wir wurden erst einige Zeit ignoriert bis sich eine von drei rezeptionistinen die mühe machte aufzublicken. Uns wurde gesagt das die zimmer nebeneinander seien, waren sie aber nicht.
Das zimmer war sehr staubig und in den gläsern waren kalkablagerungen.
Ich würde hier nicht mehr übernachten.

Cons: We took the genius deal and we’re afforded a basic room in the old part of the hotel. There were two single beds pushed together and a very small bathroom. We thankfully had a plumbing issue and after complaining were upgraded to another room in the newer part of the hotel. The new room had a double bed and was more reflective of the images on the website. The only complaint in the new room was that the shower arrangement had one of those curtains you have to fight with - so it’s a choice to flood the bathroom floor or have a curtain stick to you. I also would have expected the coffee making facilities in a Ramada to be more than just a kettle.

Pros: The lounging space. The lobby. The easy internet access. The temperature is great in every space you are, and you have plenty of electricity points almost everywhere.
Cons: I was not so comfortable in my room; the other guests had a very filthy environment, hehehe. And they were sleeping, so I could not work inside the bedroom (I needed loud volume in my computer). The great and multiple lounging spaces saved the day (or the night), even the lobby. But you can not buy your breakfast a last minute right there in the morning.

Cons: Everything was pretty good. We only stayed for one night so there wasn't that much time to check it out thoroughly. But we were satisfied with our stay there.

Cons: The hallway outside the rooms is loud (stone floors with poorly insulated room doors); this was not a major issue as there was not a lot of hallway traffic, but some may be disturbed by it.

Cons: I am an experienced traveller, and always inspect my room upon arrival. Upon checking behind the headboard of the bead, I three small, white, multilegged bugs (_not_ bed bugs, but nasty nevertheless and very much alive) along with a seeming lifetime's worth of dead skin flakes and other grotesque signs that this place had not been cleaned in ages. Took one of the bugs to the front desk in a tissue, said I wasn't comfortable staying in a place this unclean, and asked for my money back. They offered me another room, but I really didn't want to stay there. In the end, they refused to refund my money. Don't go to this place.

Cons: Too expensive for the low quality hotel that it is. Staff are not friendly but they do their job properly. The hotel is in a very isolated location which is not close to the centre by walk at all. The room was not dirty per se but their was a weird smell and also smell of a lot of smoke
