When I booked this vehicle, I had set the pickup location to RSW Airport. The car was a 28 minute uber away from the airport, which cost me additional money. When I asked if I could return it to the airport, they said no. This required us to leave the hotel an hour earlier to get the car dropped off and get a ride to the airport before we left. The staff at Enterprise wasn't rude, but they weren't friendly either. I don't generally write bad reviews, but it was very irritating that I booked a vehicle to be picked up at the airport and was not informed that the location that they reserved was not at the airport. I put that fault on KAYAK and not Enterprise.8.0 Very Good

Pickup was easy but I prefer an attendant to be there to give me my receipt so I know what I’m being charged and when there isn’t an attendant, an email of the charges should be sent.Cons:

It took an hour and 15 minutes to pickup our car. There were only two people working the counter. All the other rental companies were flying through their lines. Maybe there was a lack of training or just plain inefficiency with your counter attendants. We then were given terrible directions and no details on where our rental car would be. We walked around for 10 minutes, lugging three carseats, three suitcases, and three children trying to find the car. Our car was in the hertz spots and if it wasn’t for the garage attendant, we never would’ve looked there because we rented from dollar. Due to that experience, and knowing others in our family had the same experience I’m not sure I will be renting from Dollar again. I should’ve listened to the reviews. It’s worth paying a little more with another company for a quicker pickup process.6.0 Okay

Pick-up took over an hour even after online reservation. Not enough staff at airport to handle demand. Several rental car companies where routed through one single line. Once we arrived at the rental desk, an agent said the lines had been lengthy for over two weeks. That should have generated a better flow or additional agents available. Be sure to weigh the option of the pass if you do not plan to go in/out of Sanibel Island. We probably overpaid. Our plane was delayed by a mechanical problem. I called budget to tell them it wasn’t certain we would pick up that night but would be on the first flight out in the morning and pick up our rental then. On the first call I was told no problem. The second call to confirm we had missed our connection I was told that Budget would not hold the car, that we would need to modify the reservation, which would cost an additional $200+ in spite of having the car one fewer day. I called back several times to see if a manager would help me to no avail. We ended up making a reservation with Alamo for less than our original one with Budget. Budget should have done the right thing and held the car til the next day at no extra cost.2.0 Poor

First of all it was off site which was less than clear when I made the reservation. After waiting 20 minutes for a shuttle, the line at the place was just about out the door. When I finally got to the agent I was hustled out of my reservation and charged more because I was "late" for my reservation, I ended up there 3 hours after my reservation started because our flight was delayed. The woman said she had to cancel my reservation and make a new one which was over $100 more than my original quote. I was "upgraded" from a fullsize car to a compact SUV which was in all honestly smaller than the fullsize car I had booked. We could barely fit two small suitcases in the back and the back seat was abysmally small. 1/10 would NOT recommend fox rent a car.8.0 Very Good

Ok...where should I start? For starters they didn't have the car I reserved. However, I did start at the wrong Payless location so I will take partial blame. I still feel like they could of provided a better car. The car I received was disgustingly dirty, one headlight was out, and the smell of cigar smoke was awful. I called many times to complain and try to get the headlight fixed, but the customer service was pathetic at best. Never fully understanding my issue. I ended up popping the hood and fixing the headlight myself. I will NEVER.....NEVER EVER NEVER EVER rent through Payless again.Easirent

The wait-time at the airport for the shuttle to this off-premises rental facility was quite long. We waited a half-hour, but the people who had flown in before us waited over 45 minutes for the shuttle. When the shuttle finally arrived, a bunch of hot, sweaty people squashed onto it, because no-one wanted to wait another 45 minutes for the next trip. (There appeared to be only one shuttle, and the facility was almost 15 minutes from the airport. There was NO WAY one shuttle could run every fifteen minutes!!!).E-Z Rent-A-Car
