I booked through kayak, which come to find out did not book my reservation at the airport location but instead all the way across town. The Airport location would not honor the price I had on kayak and wanted to charge me 3X the amount for my rental. So I had to pay $30 for a cab across town to the location kayak had booked. When I get there, they didn’t even have the convertible that I had booked and instead stuck me in a horrible 3 yr old sedan that still had trash in it from the last renter. When you put in the airport code as the location, you expect to be renting from the airport location not some random shack all the way across town.Reviewed 24 Sep 2022

I had only a debit card and no outgoing flight so Budget refused to rent even though I had reserved online and had been charged to my debit card. I want my money back. If you can get my card charge refunded i will be happy. Also make it clear that you only accept “credit” cards and not debit cards. Also what’s up with needing an outgoing flight—I’m a local and needed a car cause mine was in the shop. Please fix thisReviewed 21 Sep 2022

Love that there where plenty to choose from. I did not like that the vehicles did not look as though they have been cared for. I had to put air in my vehicles tires and run it thru a car wash because all the windows had a white film on them.Reviewed 8 May 2022

The only thing that could have been better is more staff at the counter to handle the amount of people picking up at the same time I was. They had five staff working but around 15-20 people in line. Good value for the new rental however the pick-up experience was a nightmare at the San Antonio airport. They combined Budget, Avis, and Payless into one booth with a line stretching around the building. It was a 1-2 hour wait in line just to pick up a rental, and we already had a confirmed reservation.Reviewed 18 Nov 2021

Service at rental counter was terribly slow, only 2 people were available to a long queue of 10 people waiting in line. BTW it was the only counter with a huge line and we waited for over 25 mns for a very nice representative to very efficiently help us. Either everybody chose Budget or you need to have more people to provide a better service. Next time , we will NOT choose you because of this. The effort to pick up was brutal. I was in line for 45 minutes...the line was very long and only 2 people were working to process the line...once I finally got the paperwork done...the experience improved. The car was easy to find and the return was really easy...but that line filled with exhausted, people on a timed mission was tough. No car ir backup plan for actually pickup my car, pickup hour and closing hour of rental office was the same in SAT airport, what a disaster Budget rental car agency. Call numerous times that dame night and said everything would be fine to pickup car next day that reservation was on hold for 24hrs, turned out to be a lie. Enterprise turned out helping me with outstanding service and a good car!Reviewed 30 Oct 2021
