Just from the start of my reservation I had issues. I was supposed to pick up my vehicle at 2 PM but they didn’t have any available at the location I was originally reserved for and then I was called around 3:30pm they had a vehicle for me, but at different location. Since I was on the other side of town from where I was to pick up the car. It took me awhile to get there do to traffic, once I got there the budget had closed. The next day I went to see if they could honor my reservation, but the rate has changed, which I had to pay more for my rental. The first- car that the gentleman brought out for me had issues with a tire, it had a big piece of tire missing and I also let him know the car was missing the spare tire and the jack. He went on and telling me that not all vehicles are supplied with that. The gentleman then went back to get another car for us after he was done expecting it. We noticed that the car had issues with opening the Gas Tank. The button was not responding to unlocked the top to put gas into the car. The gentleman went back for a third car, you could tell he was already really irritated with the situation and didn’t really check the vehicle to see if everything was okay and once we inspected the car. We noticed that the car had no gas. The gentleman just wrote on the ticket and just said take the car as is and just bring it back as is. Not a very pleasant attitude with us as if we were the problem and not the vehicles that he kept bringing out. The vehicle was a little dirty, but overall was in better condition compared to the other two vehicles. The drop off situation was no any different when I walked in to return the car. It was the same gentleman and he asked if we had filled up the car tank with gas. I said no because we received it almost empty. He ask for my receipt as if I was lying. I presented to him, He kept it and went on with his business. I didn’t really enjoy my experience with this rental company compared to the other rental businesses that I have rented from in the past.Reviewed 11 Jul 2026

The staff was very good. The problem was that I had selected the mystery vehicle option. The first vehicle was a Kia Niro EV. I had a problem the vehicle was nice, but I decided to go to a recharging station immediately to get a full charge to not have to find one when I needed to return the car. I couldn’t get the station to accept payment from cards that had money available. Both were used later. It said to call customer service. I was on hold for 15 minutes and no one ever answered. I brought back the vehicle and the Toyota Tacoma that I was given was excellent.Reviewed 28 Apr 2026

At pickup, the girl was very nice, but the guy was a real jerk. He was very arrogant and wouldn’t even look at my phone when I tried to show them I booked a small SUV. He bullied the nice lady into giving me a Kia K4 when my email reservation clearly stated “compact SUV.” This guy has no business being in customer service.Reviewed 12 Dec 2025

I got a car I did not want which was a electric car it was dirty it was not filled up I was told to bring it back on 50% and above I don’t hold a charge as a real car I spent 3 times more filling it up if you never drove one you might want to do your research cause they really suck rented it from 9 to 5 then I get charged 2 hundred and something dollars for returning it before 8 in the morning it was raining pretty hard and I can not drive that way plus I had to find a charge station then I one I found took so long to charge it I took my chances on coming back to the City then I put no tolls on my phone and it put me on a toll booth so I decided to keep it for the rest of the day so I can get back safe cause of the rain so no I don’t think the price or the way I was treated was fair and now they maxed out my credit card they suck I will never use them againReviewed 27 Oct 2025

The real issue was with Kayak, not Budget. Kayak sent an email confirming the pickup address at OKC airport, while Budget’s system had a different location listed. Budget then asked me to call Kayak to clarify, but reaching a representative was nearly impossible. It was much easier to simply walk to the next counter and rent a car directly from Enterprise — great price and excellent service. I recommend avoiding third-party bookings through Kayak. They are unreliable, and if something goes wrong, the rental company will just refer you back to the third party.Reviewed 26 Aug 2025

Car had 3/4 tank of gas when issued. I got that resolved shortly after leaving. Later discovered that the windshield wiper fluid was empty. The interior was somewhat clean, but some vacuuming missed, some dust not wiped away. Otherwise, all was wellReviewed 30 Sept 2024
