Pros: They over booked and didn’t have any vehicles that I selected available. I had prepaid and was leaving the next day so it put me in a very bad position. They need to be more honest if they don’t have anything available when you book which according to their staff had been a long term problem . Don’t take people’s money if you don’t have a good chance of fulfilling your end off the contract .
Cons: Being honest about their inventory and not asking people to prepay if the odds are they aren’t going up be able to supply the vehicles. Also it was extremely difficult to get through their customer service department. I will never work with them again and not because of the lack of vehicles but due to the way they handled it .
Pros: Staff was friendly, wanted to extend, but they couldnt accept my debit card, the same card that they accepted the week before on the original rental date!
Pros: The staff were great at pick up and drop off. They listened to complaints at my drop off and noted them all.
Cons: The car smelled like cigarette smoke and butt in backseat. Something wrong with front end. Very dangerous to drive past 50 MPH. Tried calling corporate customer service, got "dropped" on waiting call twice after listening to music for 30 minutes. Left three message at OKC airport Hertz site on the first day of rental. But got NO calls back instructing me what to do.
Pros: Staff was very helpful. The car style I rented was not available. Heck it seemed no cars were available. But the staff figured out a solution and got me a rental.
Cons: I made reservations a week prior. Having the right style car available would be nice.
Cons: I don't think staff knew what they were doing..
Pros: Not a whole lot to like, unless you're just the type to enjoy waiting in line (an hour!) for the privilege of having your pockets picked once you finally get your turn at the counter.
Cons: Renters beware. You'll only receive what amounts to an abbreviated rental contract ("rental record") and only after you've presented your payment card, they've swiped it, you've signed the signature pad, thereby essentially signing your financial life over to Hertz. Trust me, by then every instinct in your body will be to run out the door screaming because of the whole hour you've wasted waiting in line, which is why you probably won't see the fine print bit on page 3 of your abbreviated rental contract about the fee they charge for modifying the time period of your rental, EVEN if that modification translates to MORE rental income for Hertz. They certainly won't mention any of this at the counter. You also probably won't catch the bit about a daily late fee they'll impose if your modification results in an EXTENSION of the rental period, despite the fact that longer rental period also means MORE rental income for Hertz. YES, they do charge you fees for increasing the dollar amount of business you do with them. Then, when you first get in the vehicle and put the key in the ignition, one minute after the rental location has closed for the day at 4:00 p.m., when you are immediately greeted with a tire pressure warning indication on the instrument panel, you'd be wise not to start or move the vehicle. In my case, calling the next day to report the tire pressure warning lamp (illuminated from the minute I first put the key in the ignition while still in the Hertz parking lot), meant being told that if there was a tire problem, I would be financially responsible for repairing or replacing the tire. So if you enjoy entering into sketchy getcha-gotcha financial commitments, have lots and lots of time to spend jammed up in a room with other customers waiting for your turn in line, and enjoy paying for hidden extras, this is definitely where you need to rent your next vehicle! Oh, and as an added plus, the employee that goes out to the parking lot to inspect the vehicle upon your return of it, opening the door and entering the vehicle in order to record the mileage, just happens to be finishing her smoke break early, but nevertheless still smoking her cigarette when she opens the door of the vehicle, right near the warning sticker on the windshield about the extra fee they'll charge if YOU smoke in their vehicle.
Pros: The staff has always been great at this location
Cons: Learn from Enterprise car rental.
Cons: Had to cancel the reservation and I've still yet to get my money back.
Cons: The car was not vacuumed prior to my pick up.
Pros: The car was great!
Cons: Pickup was horrible. The location seems minimally staffed so it took forever to pickup
Pros: The car worked... it was like a cheap toy but it got me to where I needed.
Cons: The worst Hertz I have ever dealt with. Pick-up was a disaster. I waited for one hour to get my reserved car. There were at least 5 Hertz team members there and only one other couple that needed a vehicle. The associate that helped me moved at a glacial pace. He was logged into the wrong system then locked himself out and had to reset passwords. This person also thought my military ID was a fake. I had to tell him multiple times that I needed to pick up my car and that I had a reservation. I originally gave him the benefit of the doubt but when he moved just as slow when I went in for returns and I watched him interact with other customers I knew my initial interaction was the standard.
