I needed to extend the car rental for a day. Neither Avis nor Kayak would allow me to do this. Kayak said I needed to talk to Avis and Avis said to talk to Kayak. I will not be using kayak anymore. Sent up to garage with wrong car parked in the spot assigned to. Told to get in line all over again. Then told they didn't have the car we paid for and reserved. Pick up and drop off from the airport were very simple. We were slightly under the charge threshold on our electric car on return, but the employee was gracious and did not charge us for it. A very kind gesture! The car was brand new (only had 20 km on it) and sparkling clean.Reviewed 21 Mar 2026
