After Covid, on board service is non existing. Due to cost restrictions, the entertainment service which years back was second to none, is not available.
It was ok

More healthy food
The planes are old and it shows. However, they felt safe. Crew is great and the food is hit or miss. My flights were on time.
Serve water and reduce temperature in cabin.
Everything was great
Everything was great
I am user of weel chair...crew don't matter...parecemos ganado. ..cliente service very poor
Appreciate the served small meal and tv
Was charged $80 for checking my carry on which was supposed to be delivered to my connecting flight. As I walked by the carousal there was my carry on… Carried it on my flight from Cartagena to JFK NYC. I should not be charged the $80 carry on fee as if I didn’t get my carry on then it would be stuck in Columbia.
My entertainment didn’t work through my flight, the crew member did the best they can but did not work.
All was good!
Seats were terrible
Food is not good at all
I had to pay another time my luggage, because I didn’t receive email but I showed them my discount from my credit card by taca
Didn’t like most of it - I was put in the emergency exit and asked to be removed from it and they didn’t accommodate me - no did they tell me what my obligations were - it was very uncomfortable because I couldn’t recline You can’t buy anything and they only offer water and coffee and a sandwich of their choice
Person at ticket counter did not know her job. Told me my check in information wasn’t mine. Duh. It WAS
Kiwi.com took our money and then encouraged us to cancel our flight to San Jose saying they would assist us with a refund. They never assisted us. So we lost the flight and $1200. DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING THROUGH kiwi.com
1 hour delay
Flight was delayed, missed my connecting flight, airline was not helpful at all
If you want a flight that treats you like a luggge or a cow or a non existent person. This is it. Where do I start?! The earplugs will give you a migraine. The movie/tv screen is unresponsive or has a 5 second delay time. Some functions on the tv screen do not work. Two small disgusting meals that even prisoners do not receive You cannot buy extra food or anything on your flight. Bathroom stinks. The flight was dirty to enter with. My first and last time using avianca This is a disaster.
All monitors were broken. Seat backs broken so they would not remain reclined. Screen kept flopping forward and hitting me.
The plane had technical problems and we were on the ground in the plane for a couple hours. Not typically and issue. But nobody informed us what was going on. The pilot said the mechanics fixed the problem and we are all set to go. Then we disembark the plane where we got even less information in the waiting area. Lastly the embarking and disembarking process is not seamless. Takes at least an hour doing a t by rows. This is our second incident and will reconsider Avianca. Sad as we used to love Avianca. Times have changed.
On board Avianca flights, cabin baggage should not exceed 55x35x25cm. If your hand luggage is bigger, the Avianca assistance team will most likely ask you to pay extra for checked luggage.
