This was the worst flight (domestic or international) I have taken till date. Check-in and boarding experience at the airport were fine. I understand its a budget airline, still some basic stuff was missing. It's an international flight of almost 5 hours duration however, not even water was served to the passengers. If you need water, you have to go to the Crew Station and ask them for water. I asked him to fill up my own water bottle to which he denied and instead told me that I can have 1 Cup of water. When I informed, that we are total 4 family members needing water, he asked me to bring everyone to the Crew Station. Which I really don't understand. The cabin AC was not working or the temperature was kept at such a high temperature that I (and many others) were literally sweating. When I requested the cabin crew to reduce the temperature, my request was ignored twice. Finally I again had to go the front of the aircraft and ask the crew member to set it to 23. Then it was adjusted and we felt a little better. Overall a disappointing experience. They need to improve on lot of things while still keeping the cost low.
I wasn’t able checkin on line so wasn’t given option buy food so I had to site watch everyone eat when I was hungry. That’s F-up
The staff is kind and professionnal.
Good value airline for a LCC - food selection and drinks looked well priced. Flight was delayed and no rush to make up time
Maybe there was something wrong with pressure sensor or something. my ear was very uncomfortable and many babies were crying like hell. It happened during landing.
Flight has change gate in the last moment and announce last call . Our experience is we are booked flight from Dps to ho - Vietnam .my flight actual time was 2:05 pm but flight departure 1 pm . Service was not good
Ground crew clueless, delayed flight gate change without communication. Horrible experience. Will not fly Vietjet again.
Everything seems good so far, only thing is delay...2nd time flying with vietjet and 2nd time got delay :(
The actual flight was ok, everything else terrible worst airline in South East Asia, delayed twice and eventually took off late again, waiting in room at gate before flight no staff there no information about second delay, jammed on bus with doors closed waiting to be taken to the plane, just a disgusting airline, do not ever rely on this Vietjet will always cancel or delay your flight, and it’s not cheap when you see luggage price and other add ons, if possible try to book a better airline Bamboo air etc
No in flight entertainment, no food, not even drinking water, uncleaned flights, smelly bathrooms, and above all no baggage allowance, they charged us 53700 yen for the baggages.
No, comment Me and my family at the boarding gate more than 30 min early but the flight delayed and they still leave without us.
Very basic, all seats are non reclining
Pros: Worst Airline Ever
Cons: Vietjet needs to update their refund policy
Cons: We left 1. 5 hours late! The only food on the plane was prepackaged chemical foods and the only vegan option was a porridge they pour water over ($2).
Cons: Get more Customer Services training for the better and for the next level of international services provider....
Cons: Flight was delayed - be on time
Cons: Avoid at all costs. Delayed both ways. On the way out of Danang they would not even tell us what time the flight would be departing despite numerous passengers asking. On the flight, a crew member stepped on my foot with her heel. My foot was NOT in the aisle, she has stepped in to get past a colleague. She didn’t even stop to apologize. Her colleague apologized and said I’ll get you a glass of water. She returned after a good 30 minutes with a paper cup of water. There was no enquiring how I was or if I needed anything. Will NEVER fly them again!
Pros: Crew was average, need to brush up on geography. One crew member announced that we have arrived to the city of Quang Nam, instead of province of Quang Nam.
Cons: Take off on time, not 45 minutes late.
Pros: The food is good. Air crew is nice.
Cons: Worth for money we paid
Pros: Vietjet’s staff are always attractive, smiling, and friendly. I like the double embarking and disembarking process.
Cons: I hate Vietjet’s restrictive luggage policies. I had to repack everything at the ticket counter to match the 7 kilo restriction and one carryon limit. On every other airline the way I pack is acceptable. Then I was given a window seat with no window. It was in the exit row. Terrible!
Cons: Boarding on time instead of delay twice
Cons: should be on time
Cons: I was charged for a medical device (CPAP) to carry it onboard the plane. Never had to pay before on any flight as FAA permits medical devices for free.
Pros: The crew was very nice and helpful, comfortable seats and the airline seemed well run for a discount carrier.
Cons: Getting to and from the plane, they use a bus and only had one bus so we was packed in like cattle on a truck
Cons: Airport reception is inexperience, could provide us the info we need. Luggage charging 2 for 70kg which is retarded. If you pay online or declare online it gives you discount, unfortunately that doesn’t work on visitors. The check innprocuedure was ineffective and waste lots of time
Pros: Fast and efficient and low cost budget
Pros: Nothing really impressive.
Cons: The online boarding procedures was unavailable for non- Vietnamese. No reminder to tell us which terminal and cause me delayed to the flight, the airport reception was inexperience send me to a wrong terminal. Luggage charging was bad. If you declare online gives you half price and it doesn’t work
Cons: Customer service. Not helpful at all. They were more interested in getting rid of us. There was a man in a wheelchair who injured his leg in a bike accident. He needed to get to Vietnam for medical help. They told him they couldn’t accommodate him. They also refused to give helpful. They just left him. Your airline is run by heartless people. I would never recommend Viet jet to my worst enemy
Sardines and no water
Cons: No free water on a 5 hour flight. Poor choice of snacks to purchase. No leg room. Chaotic at boarding time. Expensive for the service
On board VietJet Air flights, cabin baggage should not exceed 56x36x23cm. If your hand luggage is bigger, the VietJet Air assistance team will most likely ask you to pay extra for checked luggage.

Commencing operation in 2011, Vietjet Air offers a wide range of domestic services across Vietnam as well as international destinations throughout Asia. Offering competitive prices to passengers and minimal services, the airline has developed a strong customer base within the low-cost market. It has introduced Thai Vietjet Air as a subsidiary, which focuses on domestic flights within Thailand. In 2015 it was crowned the Best Asian Low-Cost Carrier at the TTG Travel Awards. A codeshare agreement is in place with Japan Airlines, which provides more flexibility to customers for both domestic and international trips.
The fleet of Vietjet Air is made up entirely of Airbus airplanes. Flying both the A320 and A321 models, the aircraft are capable of transporting between 180 and 230 passengers. Keep an eye out to see if you travel on a specially marked A321-211 plane, which is decorated to celebrate 45 years of diplomatic ties between France and Vietnam.
